Wapa di Ume Sidemen

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We stayed in the luxury pool villa, which was amazing. It rained quite a lot during our stay, and you could clearly hear the rain on the roof. It’s fine as long as you’re not a light sleeper. The room was very clean, and the staff was absolutely wonderful – they truly make the hotel even better! This hotel is incredibly relaxing, and the view is stunning. They offer a wide range of services, including a sightseeing tour around Sidemen, which we really appreciated. A special thank you to Gede, a kind and helpful staff member who made our experience even more memorable

This is my second time staying at this hotel, and honestly, it’s one of my absolute favorites. This time, I stayed in one of the new luxury tents, complete with a private pool. The bed, pillows, and duvet were absolutely amazing—I slept like a rock. The staff are incredibly friendly, service-minded, and always smiling. The surroundings are beautiful and well maintained, creating the perfect setting to relax and fully unwind. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon!😍

My 3 friends and I just spent 4 nights at Wapa di Ume Sidemen. I was blown away by this amazing place. Absolute luxury, stunning views, excellent service, delicious food and very comfortable rooms. The staff are incredible. So friendly and helpful and make a huge effort to remember your name and always greet you with a huge smile. There are interesting things to do and see around Sideman which can be booked thru the hotel. We did a cooking class with the hotel chef which I highly recommend. We also visited a place where they were weaving the most beautiful fabrics and made our own rings at a silver jewellery class. A very different view of Bali - rural, quiet, peaceful. I'd go back in a flash.

It was a very peaceful and relaxing vacation at Wapa di Ume Sidemen. The local staff are very friendly, sincere, helpful and warm. Wira at the reception is very thoughtful and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the motorbike tour with him to Gembleng waterfall and the surrounding sights. My room at the luxury tent area is kept clean and maintained well. There is a WhatsApp number to contact the reception for anything and they are always very responsive and helpful, arranging for tours or transport in the area. Indah, Lia, Aki and Julia from the Sleeping Gajah restaurant are very attentive and nice. The included breakfast was generous with lots of variety. They made my coffee just the way I liked every morning and always checked to see if everything is okay. Highly recommended Wapa di Ume Sidemen if you're visiting Sidemen.

Stunning location, views and resort. It was our first time to Bali and after a quiet retreat to relax, this was definitely the right place to choose. The resort is amazing from the bar and restaurant to the pools and rooms. We booked a luxury tent with a private pool. All of the staff made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Wira who made sure we had everything we needed.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful time at this resort. We stayed in the tent style room with a private pool. I had a torn meniscus which meant I wasn’t in a good way to be leaving the resort for much but I had a great time staying here with the pools, bar, and spa. Everyone was very welcoming and accommodating. Also, the food was all fantastic! My girlfriend and I have both recommended this spot to our friends and families. If we ever come back to Bali we will be sure to come back here.

Our short stay at Wapa di Ume Sidemen was perfect. To start, the staff was so personable, so kind, and helpful at every moment of our stay. Everyone we met made us feel like they wanted to know us, remembered our names, and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. The facility was stunning. You are truly set in the middle of all of the beauty that Sidemen have to offer. We enjoyed a walking tour of the fields, a yoga class, and a longer site seeing tour of the town all included in our stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very reasonably priced. At the end of our stay the staff arranged a driver for us to leave at 2am to hike Mount Batur and packed a delicious breakfast for our journey. Our driver waited while we hiked and then drove us to our next destination. We will certainly return the next time we are in Bali.

One of our favorite stays during our 3 weeks in Bali! The location was stunning, the food great and our luxury tent was beautiful! The favorite part, however, was the staff! They were the most attentive and kind people. A very minuscule mistake had happened during our lunch, and not only did the manager apologize, but the young man who made the mistake came to our room to personally apologize. We could tell how truly sorry he was, but we were not upset at all! Thank you for everything, and if we ever return to Bali we will surely come back! Highly recommend!
