We absolutely loved our stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive — they truly made our stay feel special. The location is stunningly peaceful and private, overlooking lush rice fields and tree-covered hills. Despite feeling like a serene retreat, it’s still very accessible to nearby restaurants and activities around Sidemen. The secure private entrance and the hotel being set slightly below street level add to the calm, secluded atmosphere. The on-site restaurant was a real highlight — the food was exceptional, and the drinks menu was equally impressive. The spa, while offering a smaller treatment menu, was clean, relaxing, and well worth visiting. The foot massage and creambath hair spa were fantastic 👌 (we only wish we had more time to try the body massages!). Our room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and very comfortable. We also loved the many inclusions with our stay — free yoga, breakfast, and afternoon tea — which made the already reasonably priced rooms incredible value for money. We would highly recommend this accommodation to any traveller looking for a relaxing, high-quality stay in a beautiful setting.

We loved our stay here, from the clean & spacious comfortable room, the warmest and kindest staff, gorgeous yoga shala and access to a flowing natural river! You can hear river sounds everywhere in the resort and it is so relaxing. While the restaurant is beautiful and overlooks stunning mountain and river views, I feel the breakfast food quality could be improved, taste and menu selction. Too many items that are really just eggs in various ways on bread. Pancakes and French toast are also not great. Lunch and dinners are better, especially the seafoods are prepared well. We also tried to eat at hotel next door Samanvaya and their food is much better and more refined in comparison. Please improve on the breakfast then this would be a perfect stay! Special thanks Gede and front desk staff for always greeted us by our name, helping us arrange pick up / drop off shuttle and made us feel welcomed and at home. Bonus tip, book direct and enjoy additional perks from the hotel like complimentary tour and spa credits!

The team is super fantastic, friendly and genuine service. Wirta and the team in the Restaurant just wow us with their excellent service, their smily face and natural laugh made us forget our stress, we loved it so much. The food was super delicious, healthy,aromatic. Wisna from the Spa, she has an amazing healing hands therapy, I did massage and it just fabulous I won't forget her warm hands with delicate pressure ,Bombastic!!! Morning Yoga was wonderful, all the yoga poses made my body really feel good. Hardi & Pande were really good and caring during our tour. We will be back again and we recommend to our friends here in German to visit Sideman and stay in the Wapa di Ume.The room is excellent, location is wonderful it's really healing place. Love it love it love it...

Sonia and the many lovely team here made our stay overlooking the Sleeping Gajah mountain the most memorable experience for our 20th Anniversary. Obvious care for our feelings, our comfort, our total ease made this stay a truly stunning example of refined yet traditional Balinese hospitality. From the moment you enter this wonderful hidden paradise, the breathtakingly gorgeous architecture envelopes you. Every planting around the resort delights the senses alongside the sound of gentle rumbling water, designed to reflect and showcase the natural panoramic surroundings. Styled with tropical panache and symmetry, everything from the healthy and vibrant colors of the food, the traditional art and use of eco friendly and luxe materials, the thoughtfully curated morning walks through the rice paddies, the extraordinary talent of the Chef de Partie sharing knowledge of Balinese cuisine (thank you Agung Burger!) , the most sincere beautiful staff in training, the lush Kapha day spa with epic views (highly recommend the Balinese massage!) everything was clean and clear making this place truly deserving of its 5 stars status. A beautiful hotel located in Sidemen, above the river and pleasant garden. Lovely pool area. Very good restaurant - delicious breakfasts and dinners, excellent and fast in-room dining. We also loved afternoon teas on the upper floor with picturesque views of the countryside.|Very helpful and kind staff, from trainees to higher professionals.|Our thanks go to Utari from Guest Service Assistance, Rai - who gave me a pampering facial treatment 🙂, knowledgeableWiri - who took us on a private morning trek through rice fields. It’s a pity all the other staff who were at our service remain unnamed so a very big thank you anonymously.|A very relaxing stay.

Overall great value for money. Location is exceptional. Service was attentive. The pool luxury tent was really good and bed comfortable. Breakfast was not a highlight and could be improved but understandable in such a remote location. Dinner was good (Indonesian food preferred) Room rate is also reasonable.

The luxury tent experience was exactly that. The most beautiful tent villa with its own private pool. perfect to slip into first thing in the morning or on a sultry afternoon. An unexpected VIP inclusion was use of the pool lounge, with complimentary breakfast, free tea and coffee all day, and a free cocktail and snacks in the evening. The food was very good - I tried the nasi goreng once then kept going back to it - so good. A beautiful space with lots of lovely staff. I also took advantage of the sightseeing and market trips, also included. Great experiences.

I'm blown away by this hotel! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. There are lots of activities that hotel’s provide for their guest. Especially the Sightseeing Sidemen Area by Bli Hardi. The room was luxurious, the facilities were top-notch, and the breakfast was amazing. Highly recommend! 5 stars!
