Wapa di Ume Ubud

We stayed here for 3 nights , to celebrate our birthday . I must greatly appreciate the hospitality , it was another level. Even Maldives cannot match this level of hospitality. ||Great service, amazing food , clean rooms and beautiful views. This hotel is 15 minutes away from ubud market. Easy to commute with grab. The hotel even provides a free shuttle service to ubud market. ||I wanted to mention the names of the staff for their amazing service but then i would have to pen down everyone’s name, 😃 they all were so kind and helpful. ||Highly recommend this hotel.

Wapa di Ume looks beautiful in photos and markets itself as a 4 or 5-star escape, but our family stay in one of their villas was a major letdown. Insects & Poor Sealing: Doors had visible gaps; we were greeted by a large spider in the bed on night one. Housekeeping Issues: The room was never properly cleaned. Leaves stayed on the floor for four days, and ants were a constant problem in the shower. Overflowing Shower & Bad Maintenance: The outdoor shower overflowed into the main bathroom on day three. Peeling plaster, patchy repairs, and no consistent explanation from staff. No Storage in Bathrooms: No counters or shelves. You’ll be placing your toothbrush next to the trash can. Not Family Friendly: One bathroom for four guests is simply not practical. Expect long waits and no privacy. The staff were polite, and beds comfortable, but that’s about where the positives end. The manager waived a floating breakfast to try and make amends, but the issues run deeper than a one-time gesture can fix. Do not be fooled by the “luxury” label. This is a 3-star property at best. Ubud has better, more reliable options for the same price.

Had a lovely stay here after having to relocate last minute. They accommodate us with rooms next to each other which were spacious and immaculate. We went to complimentary afternoon tea and had a go at folding some palm leaves to make an offering before getting a buggy back to our room. Staff couldn’t so enough for us and even left a handwritten card with a snap shot of our time for us before we left. You get a proper flat white at breakfast not machine coffee! Just wished we had stayed longer, thank you Yuna!

We had an absolutely unforgettable time at Wapa di Ume! The place is simply stunning and everything was perfect. We stayed in a villa with a private pool, and it was just fantastic. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated.||The hotel offers a variety of private tours and activities, which made it so easy for us to explore the area (Ubud and East Bali). A huge thank you to Agus, who picked us up from the airport and organized several of our tours — always with a big smile and such kindness. He truly made our experience even more special.||We also had the chance to experience the spa during our stay, and every treatment was simply sensational. Thank you to Sinta and Sukreni for the ritual treatment and their gentle care. We felt so relaxed.||The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. The food and the coffees were delicious as well.||We truly loved every moment of our stay and would highly recommend Wapa di Ume to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable trip.

Incredible calm retreat in the craziness of Ubud. It’s in lush surroundings, decorated in a calm Balinese style, minimal or no plastic. Food at the restaurant is delicious and all the staff are so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the family royal villa with pool, but there are 3 other pools so a room without a pool would be great too. Wonderful complimentary Balinese massage. The morning rice field walk is fascinating, definitely try joining one. It’s shocking to see the amount of development going on around the hotel along the gorge- rice fields lost for yet more hotels. The Wapi is the original in the area. I hope they stop before they destroy everything:(

Wapa di Ume was our first stop in Bali. What a stunning place! We were immersed in the peace of the jungle detached from the noisy centre, but really easy to reach. Our room was extremely beautiful, the entire staff really sweet and kind. Food and cocktails perfect! Balinese buffet with show included amazing!’ Yoga session… massage. What else to say? Just Perfect. SUPER HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you all staff to make our holiday magic. Laura&Sam

This is a beautiful family friendly resort offering spacious comfortable and discreet bungalow accommodations in lush tranquil settings. The staff are so welcoming friendly and helpful with nothing too much trouble. |We have really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this Resort.

We love everything about WapadiUme, it is a serene, peaceful and respektful place. This was our second stay, we came 15 yrs ago and even if the place has doubled in size it is done in the low key, natural Balinese style. Wow! |Staff is so attentive, they have us a Welcone back card, and have gone out of their way to be welcoming also with our children. To is this is one of the best hotels in the world. It is not 5 star luxury, it is a respectful of nature, calm and serene home.
