Wapa di Ume Ubud

The resort’s exterior and interior beautifully blend modern comfort with traditional Balinese design. Our villa was very private and surrounded by lush rice fields, creating a tranquil and authentic Balinese atmosphere. We stayed in a couple’s villa, which was very spacious and thoughtfully designed. I absolutely loved the flower bath in the tub, as well as the breakfast served by the pool—it was such a memorable experience. The staff were incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The room was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable that I could easily spend the whole day relaxing there while enjoying the pool view. Wapa’s Ume Spa is highly recommended. The Balinese massage was exceptional, and the therapists were truly excellent and professional. Overall, this resort offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and authentic Balinese hospitality. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

We simply loved our stay at Wapa. The gardens are picturesque and we thoroughly enjoyed our walks to and from our suite past the rice fields, hearing the sounds of water and nature together, and spotting fireflies at night! It's both convenient enough to the centre, but far away enough to give us the peace and quiet we need. We were upgraded to a suite and enjoyed every minute we spent in it. The bed was very comfortable, everything was so clean, and the shower had excellent pressure! We also really enjoyed breakfast which had good variety and flavour, and the Infinity pool was a welcome respite too! Unfortunately the gym was being upgraded and we were unable to enjoy it but honestly we weren't there for a work out and was happy to sit back and take it all in! Service was one of the best we've ever had and special shout out to the staff for their banter and attention - Nadia who made us feel welcomed from the start; Dewa at the desk and who also took us on an excellent guided walk around local rice paddies; Aunty Arik and Juli at the restaurant and bar - you all made our stay more personal and we enjoyed your company! All-in-all we couldn't have asked for more. We can't wait to be back.

We stayed here for part of our honeymoon and it was just sensational from the minute we arrived. The hotel and the surroundings are stunning, the staff are so kind and so helpful, the location is great for being quiet but also an easy walk to a mini mart and a couple of nice restaurants, or a short drive to the centre of Ubud (there are hotel shuttle runs or easy to get a Grab). Our room was beautiful and so clean, with daily cleans and fresh water and a turn down service in the evening. Breakfast was fantastic - a big menu of options including many vegetarian, with a plate of fresh fruit, a pastry, coffee, water and fruit juice included. Afternoon tea included at the infinity pool was lovely for days when we were at the hotel with a lovely selection of biscuits and cakes. Morning yoga glass was so peaceful in such a beautiful location. I would love to return!

The hotel is possibly one of the best places within the Ubud area. Position to town was fantastic, a number of free shuttles to the centre and return is fantastic. From the moment you step into the hotel, the friendliest staff are there to welcome you. Excellent food is served for breakfast lunch and dinners. I love the high tea served every afternoon accompanied with home made cookies. They have so many different activities such as the cooking classes, spa, and various other specials. Accommodation was fantastic and we felt special. Fantastic. Thank you Wapa di Ume.

The place is perfect. The atmosphere is relaxing and just beutiful. The service is incredible and left nothing for wanting. Staff was all great but Arik at the restaurant was a step above. She always extremely attententive and went out of her way everyday to ensure our experience was perfect.

The atmosphere is great, makes you feel in heaven. We stayed at a villa room, private pool and it was the best thing. We also took 3 spas for 3 consecutive days!! We could get off of it ! Suma , Sinta and colleagues were very sweet and professional. We had royalty treatment. Staff is very kind and polite. They have shuttles to downtown and free bikes for guests. Restaurant food is so tasty, we ordered the signature fried rice, noodles and our favorites -spring rolls-. Place was clean, every day they provided room cleaning, bottled water and even bed preparation before sunset. It’s perfect for honeymooners , couples and even families since some villas are bigger.

I had a great experience here. All the staff were beyond courteous and professional, and I would definitely stay again next time I am in Ubud. My room looked out onto a smallish copse of trees, and not even the rain could dampen the ambience. I opted to have breakfast included in my stay, and the range on offer was really good. Their spa has a wide range of services and I felt fully relaxed after my massage. The hotel also puts on a number of activities, and I chose the BBQ night with Balinese dancing. Again, the food was good, and the entire evening was memorable. Thank you for such a great stay.

What a magical place! We booked this for our honeymoon and stayed 5 nights, and we received such a fantastic experience. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are so kind! Breakfast was fantastic every morning with a selection of on-menu items (shout out to the Croque Madame, my personal favourite). Would easily stay here again if I was ever back in Ubud.
