If you’re a history lover, you’ll enjoy this museum. There’s a soldier at the entrance and if you need any help he’ll do. The entrance fee was 3€. It is made of 2 floors, 1st for WWI, and 2nd for WWII. There are photos (with explanations and english translation), a movie on a TV that explains everything, uniforms, arms, and more.

A small, but rich museum with a lot of objects, documents and images related to the Independence War and WWII. You can also watch a very interesting movie on the topic, with English subtitles. The building itself is very nice and the staff is really polite and welcoming.

Great place for history buffs. Only complaint is that overall its a bit hard to follow if you don't know the context. In other words, it doesn't tell a story. Otherwise, it was clean and quiet.

Great small museum that covers Greek military engagements from the war of independence through WWII. Lots of historic weapons, uniforms, and documents on display. There is a continuous running movie on Greece during WWII on the top floor. There was plenty of references to Nafplio’s role in these conflicts. It was the nation’s first capital after it won independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1821. It was very interesting. The museum is staffed with very polite soldiers from the Greek Army. It stays open later than the museums too. Everything had descriptions in English. We discussed some of the history with the soldier on duty. He was well informed and proud of his history. Well worth a visit.

Very interesting small museum highlighting the War of Greek Independence and the German occupation of Greece during World War 2. The admission fee is 3 Euros. The building has steep stairs and I didn't notice if there was an elevator. It's a very old building, You may have to ask. Give it a look.

I'll always rate a military or war history museum a bit higher as it is a keen interest. The price is very low to get in. Building is in a bit of disrepair though (bathroom ceiling was even leaking rain water) so hopefully they spend some money fixing the place up a bit in the future. Enjoyed the video on 2nd floor and the various uniforms and weapons on display. If your not a fan you'll probably feel this place is a 2 or 3.

In this historical building the first military school of Greece was founded. The collection is superb starting from the 1821 Greek Revolution era .WWI&WW2 exhibition items are also included. A visit in this place is a must and everyone should give it a try.

We actually came here to get out of the sun for a little bit, but it turned out to be one of my favorite places in Nafplio. The museum is set up in chronological order from the start of the Greek army until present day. There are a lot of interesting items to see, but my favorite was the WWII video on the top floor. We spent more time than we had originally planned, but loved every part of it. Definitely give it a try if you're around.
