"War Photo Limited is a museum dealing with a topic that resonates deeply with Dubrovnik's people: war and conflict. With a small permanent exhibition on the Balkans conflict and the shelling of Dubrovnik in the 1990s, the museum also hosts temporary shows by renowned international photographers on conflicts around the world as well as topics like child soldier victims. Immensely powerful, War Photo Limited makes a lasting impression."

An excellent war photojournalism gallery featuring bravery photojournalists covering different important wars. I was glad that I learnt about this gallery in a travel brochure and made it in my first day in Old Town. I highly recommend everyone visiting Old Town the first time to stop by this gallery first before visiting the rest of the attractions. The photos of the wars, especially what Dubrovnik had gone through, definitely set the tone to the rest of my days in town and I thought about those who fought fearlessly for justice and innocents. My respect to the soldiers and the photojournalists! As cliche as it sounds, photo speaks a thousand words. Thanks for the curation!

I really liked this museum. So rare to see such a realistic image of war which we often have very little idea what it’s like. It’s not for everyone, very graphic.

Small museum with war pictures. Take a little time to reflect on the horrors of wars that Croatia, Kosovo, Serbia and Bosnia had to face in these past decades. It wasn’t so pleasant in the sense of a fun time, but it was very informative about the history of the conflicts and it’s an important moment not to forget that Dubrovnik it’s not only beaches and game of thrones. The pictures are sad but beautiful. 10 euros the entrance. It is worth it.

Really good exhibition of quality photos depicting the grim reality of conflict. The current content is of the war in Burma as well as the permanent display of the Balkan wars in the 90s. A worthwhile but slightly depressing way to spend an hour or two. You get a discount if you have a Dubrovnik pass.

very informative and well organized. i wish the captions were given right under or next to the photos though, because it gets a bit park in some spots of the exhibition room, making it difficult to read from catalog. the last section about wars from many other parts of the world could be better organized chronologically.

It’s opened a window into all the myths of the Balkan Peninsula for me as an Asian/Chinese. Really amazing storytelling work via war-time photos. However, my PoV is that the selection of works for End of Yugoslavia could be more balanced as now it seems one should point fingers only to Serbia/Yugoslavia, while the other villains were not in the picture, such as the NATO, which was descending just like an angel??? Big question mark.

Brilliant museum that guides you through various conflicts, both in the baltics and further afield. Outstanding display of photographs that make you feel the human cost of war.
