A simple, pleasant hotel near the Zanzibar Ferry Terminal.
It seems to have only three floors, so it’s not noisy. The building is old, and that’s what I like about hotels in Stone Town. When I stayed there, the prices were moderate, even low. The room was spacious, with two beds, a large writing desk, a small wardrobe, and a very cozy balcony. The charm of the balcony was that it was hidden from the street by thick, beautiful trees.
Breakfasts are served on the rooftop, so in the mornings you can watch the weather over the ocean and the town waking up. In the evening, you can enjoy sunsets from the rooftop.
As for the downsides, there was no Wi-Fi and, if I recall correctly, no hot water, but that's not a problem in Zanzibar. Overall, I really liked it. If Wi-Fi is arranged, it’s the perfect place for its price. It’s about a five-minute walk to the port.
