Waroeng Bernadette, Ubud

Absolutely the Best Beef Rendang we have ever had! The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful truly unforgettable. Portions were generous, especially for the price. The whole meal came to just 300,000 IDR, which felt like amazing value. Service was excellent, warm, and attentive. We were also treated to live music that evening, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommended we’ll definitely be coming back!

The restaurant is famous for their beef randang so I wanted to try it out. Location is easy but that road gets very busy. We booked it on a weekday night and was smooth . We were welcomed by the staff and they have live music as well which was quite entertaining. The food was definitely good and we tried noodles and chicken satay as well. Drinks were a bit weak . They have outdoor and indoor seating. Deserts are local but worth a try . We had tape cake which comes warm with i e cream .

We had dinner on at Waroeng Bernadette Ubud and it was great! The place is nicely decorated and gives more of a upmarket feeling but the pricing is in line with other restaurants in Ubud. The staff are great and very courteous and went through recommendations for dishes. We went for their famous beef rendang, salad and the tuna which were tasty and well made. Brilliant dinner overall and real fast service which was exactly what we needed, highly recommended!

Worth the visit, couldn’t wait to try the Rendang. The flavours were really good but the meat was a little dry. The deserts we got for takeaways were really good size portions and delicious.

Tried their signature menu, authentic beef rendang, i have to say it tastes good (although it’s not the typical rendang which is dark and a bit spicy). The portion is quite large, it can be shared with two person. I ordered their drink also (forgot the name tho’) but it was fresh and taste good. The place is spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff service is very friendly. Vehicle parking seems to be unavailable.

Really lovely restaurant right near Sri Ratih. With live music 3 nights a week! Dishes were really well done, too busy eating to take more photos. Highly recommend.

I had lunch here around 1:30 PM, and since I was the only customer, the service was quick with plenty of staff available. I ordered their special Rendang along with a few other dishes, but honestly, I didn’t find anything special about it compared to other Rendang meals I’ve had. It wasn’t bad, just average and street sate actually tasted better. The only dish that stood out was the gado-gado. The Rendang also didn’t look the same as shown in the pictures, which was a bit disappointing. When we arrived, the rooftop wasn’t ready, so we had to sit downstairs. Also, keep in mind that the prices shown don’t include a 15% tax and service charge, plus an additional 3% if you pay by card. I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend it, but it does feel overrated for the food quality. That said, the place itself is quite beautiful.

An amazing place for Dinning, I loved the rendang, both jack fruit and beef. Also loved the service, Ayu is one of the loveliest waitresses ever, Thanks so much for Ur service! I would definitely come back again 😃🤩
