Warschauer Straße

It's a very energetic place. Lots of people with music and dance. All types of restaurants and clubs available.

Finally I’m in about to city centre. Such nice modern station spacious with escalators, lift, many cafes and restaurants around. You can get trains for many destinations from this station. Even tram stop is just out there for more connections. Great for tourists as nice views around. Even I like to walk at canal side. Let me start to explore the city now

Cool public transportation hub, full with graffiti.

It’s almost always really hectic, especially if you’re navigating the crowds with a bicycle to take on board 😅 People are very colourful though, interesting to look at, and often under the influence of various substances.

It's an open space and yet you are only allowed to vape in the smoker's area which is a 4 by 3 rechtangle at the end of the platform. Well, I'm a vaper not a smoker, and the smell of stale smoke in that area feels really disgusting to me, and I don't like that station because of this one thing.

SBahns are delayed very very often. Even more during the night. I go to BER 1 or 2 a week. Do not believe when it says it is delayed and shows an updated time. This is a wrong DB algorithm. Those times keep being postponed forever. Do not wait more than 5-10 minutes and find another urgent solution. Especially if you go to the airport. These trains are not reliable.

Yet another busy train station in Berlin. RE and S Bahn both come on this station. Warschauer is a party area and that is reflected in the station's cleanliness. I was there on a Sunday morning and the place looked like an after party place with garbage lying around everywhere. Also, at night the place can be crowded and you need to look after your belongings and yourself as I didn't find the place to be very safe. Infrastructure wise it was really well built and is one the important train stations in Berlin with lot of connections.

I like it's location and the old architecture. From there you can take the U-Bahn to go through the Oberbaumbrücke crossing the Spree river with a lovely view of the Molecule Man and the Berliner Fernsehturm!
