Warteg Warmo

This is my favorite Warteg in Jakarta. The Tempe is always fresh, and the hot chicken is excellent. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and patient as I don't know the native language very well. They remembered me after the first visit and give me my favorites every time. It's a great hidden gem and worth the slightly higher prices.

A traditional javanese (Tegal) foodstore. Open 24 hours with so many choice of food. The hunger only need to touch the display screen glass to choose the menu. The cheap price is worth it with the satisfaction of the food you get

Visited around 2pm, wasn't too busy but unfortunately a smoking bapac-bapac chose to sit next to me 💨😷. Options were overwhelming. Had Deep Fried Tuna & Tongkol. Tuna was chewy; Tongkol was ok, would be better if it was hot fresh from the pan. So, next time I'll just have something that are fresh from the kitchen. Grande-sized Iced Orange was so good on the heat of the Jakarta day.

Now 4 ⭐️ updating review 4 years ago with videos and photos.. Still same taste but overpriced 20k only for rice with dadar, mushroom and orek tempe. The same menus in others wartegs that i was reviews the price not more than 15k 5⭐️ in 4 years ago review : More than 40 various menu, legendary WARTEG in JAKARTA, but no car parking area and limited parking area for motorcycle

If you hungry and looking for 24hr and cheap homemade food, you should go here. A lot of variety of the foods, the taste just ok for me. ALways crowded,, if you bring a car abit tricky to find a parking lot.

Been here in one time as my friend introduced me as it is. Lots of varieties with exactly what I’m looking for foods. Staffs friendly and easy to find the place. I ordered rendang, egg and potato fritter. It’s abs hot spicy chilli (sambal) was like a hellllll.

This place is awesome, located right in front of the interception.. Take a seat near the window and you could enjoy the dynamics of the interception.. The service is awesome as well as the taste of the meals.. The only lack I could tell you is the parking spot is for motorcycle only, and there isn't enough spots to accommodate the enthusiasm of the buyer.. But, will I come back and enjoy their food in the future..? INDEED 🤤

I came a little bit late, there were not much choices like I expected before. The taste also feel not fresh anymore. The good thing are the men are friendly
