I always stop by this place every time I’m in Bali. The food never disappoints — honestly, it tastes better and more authentic than the place next door. The seating area is pretty simple, nothing fancy. It can get a bit warm if you sit outside, so keep that in mind. Overall, it’s a solid spot and definitely worth a visit. The only thing that could be better is the service — a bit more friendliness, especially toward local travelers, would make the experience even nicer.

Local cheap eats for sure! Fried pork (Babi Guling) place is limited seating, outside seating available. There’s only 1 choice of food, which comes with a delicious bone broth, with options of sizes that’s all. Food was yum, and spicy. Even if you asked for non spicy, the kids can’t handle it, it has the spices infused into the veggies. I saw some families brought in KFC or packet fried pork skins, for their kids as replacements During our meal, we could hear pigs being slaughtered… it sure is an experience! Very crowded place n constant people. We were very fortunate to arrive n seated with 2 tables leaving just as we arrived. Not ideal for large groups otherwise

Takeaway portion without rice costs 55k and doesnt include soup. Considering the price, portion is not fulfilling. For takeaway, the system is order and pay at cashier, then queue to pick up. The takeaway queue is not long. The overall taste was just so-so, not leaving much impression. The pork soup is added with blended chili, so beware of this when ordering. No air-con. Admin fee for card payment, so we opted for cash payment.

The tastiest food I ate in Bali, hands down. Went on a Saturday, incredibly busy with both locals and tourists. Pretty quick to order at counter and then try to find a seat wherever you can. I got the regular size Nasi Campur Babi Guling (45k idr). Incredibly tasty, some of the sambals that come with it are very spicy. Come for delicious, spicy pork. Don’t come for fine dining experience.

This is probably the most long-standing restaurant in the area, as what the driver told me. First time here, I actually didn’t feel the food. However, since the second time, i truely fell in love with it for its taste and somehow the quality in every bite. And so far, as long as I’m in Bali, I come to this restaurant 😂😂😂 even every day

Our first visit today was somewhat disappointing considering how high the reviewers' average rating is. The place was full as can be expected considering it was a Saturday and how popular it is, and the wait for a table was not long. Lucky us, we managed to sit outside just next to the toilets (quite gross noises emanating from there). Waited about twenty minutes for drinks and our meal. Quality was just "ok" but not much better than anywhere else for the same type of dish. The service was slow and the servers not friendly at all. A particular "special treat" in the premises was a pig squeeling so loud it was actually quite disturbing, he was probably about to be put down (see video attached). Overall, it was an interesting experience but we are definitely not motivated to return.

Tried this dish like 3 years ago and I didn’t have a quite of good experience. Come back here to do some confirmation for myself. I like the soup’s taste, the rice is okay and somehow the crispy pork is off. Still worth the price and worth to try. Just sometimes the line is crazy long, you need to go straight to the cashier to order and pay before you can take your food.

Babi Guling Sari Dewi Dobiel is always a must-visit when I’m in Bali. The food is consistently good, and coming around 10–11 AM means no long queues. Enjoyed it with a cold temulawak beruap, which brought back memories plus there’s Molly, an adorable chubby pug who loves to spin around—such a fun touch.
