Warung Cahaya. I was invited by a friend to have breakfast at this place. We ordered the following: - Babi goreng sambal mata with plain omelete. This dish was absolutely delis. The diced pork was deep fried yet remained succulent. The seasoning was just right (perfect match for light taste beer). The omelete and sambal mata (mild hot) actually toned down the salty fried pork. 4.7 stars - Crispy pork belly. This dish was equally nice but with more fat and crackling bites 4.7 stars Most of the customers were actually foreigners (Korean and Japanese). The restaurant opens at 9 am sharp. Within 15 minutes, the queue was at least 15 pax long. More seating area is available in the back of the building. Service was fairly quick. All in all, I would rate this as 4.7/5.0 stars.

A mainstream spot for local tourists, but the flavors hit just right. The crispy fried pork is perfectly done, and the sambal matah is hands down the best.

Fried pork cubes are tender and easy to chew. Kuah (soup) balung babi is flavorful, and the meat is of good cut. 2 options of sate lilit (chicken skewers and pork skewers) are available and the meat is of thumb size only. Pork skin crackers are available too, didn try so no comment. Paper box for takeaway @ Rp 1.500,- each. The place has no aircon. The wall inside the front store might need a makeover due to dampness. Payment by card is ok.

A little bit hidden spot. Only got to try 2 items before leaving - (non oily and oily) with sambal matah (very aromatic and not too salty). Meats were juicy. Highly recommended.

The pork dish with sambal matah is absolutely delicious. The meat is tender, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the fresh and spicy sambal. Unfortunately, the restaurant atmosphere could be improved. The place feels a bit plain and less comfortable for dining in. Still, the food quality makes it worth visiting, especially for pork lovers ⭐️

This used to be one of my favourite spots in the area. It’s always packed whenever I come, but it was always worth the wait. However, during my most recent visit, the taste wasn’t as good as it used to be, mainly because of the sambal. The onions weren’t as fresh as before, and the flavour was soggy and just not as enjoyable as it used to be. On top of that, the cashier was really slow. They still handle everything manually, so we ended up waiting far too long this time.
