Warung Dapur Kapulaga

We had a wonderful time at this lovely restaurant tucked away on a beautiful street lined with rice fields. It’s a simple place, full of charm and authenticity. We were welcomed by a young man who took great care of us. The food was delicious, with a great selection of traditional dishes, including great vegetarian options. The fried bananas for dessert were especially amazing! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a genuine and tasty local experience.

Great food and very nice owner and service - this is a family run restaurant. We had free banana fritters for dessert. We also had one of their special drinks with pineapple juice, coconut water, mint and lime (I think they call it « sidemen cooler ») and it was super fresh and delicious too!

Along with warung Joni, this was our favourite place to eat in Sidemen and after 3 weeks stay we had tried pretty much most of the local warungs! This family run warung is superb, the family are charming and very gracious. The food is delicious and freshly prepared with love and care and the complementary fried bananas are the icing on the cake! To sum up, avoid the overpriced tourist traps in Sidemen, try the local warungs, of which this is one of the very best.

Nice local restaurant with authentic Balinese food. Staff were very pleasant. Seating and decor is simple and clean. Food was tasty and excellent value. Recommended.

Worst food i had in sidemen, worst nasi goreng i ever had in bali. Only guests in the warung. Waiting almost 1 hour only for the starters (spring rolls & onion rings). Main course rice completely overcooked. Nasi goreng the worst i ever tasted. Tempeh sateh like glue. To be honest, the sate lilith was good. of course this whole area here around is completely overpriced in food as they all catch the "resort people" going out after sunset, this one is a little bit cheaper. but not worth the price.

Very nice place to have dinner, friendly staff and so kind ! The food was excellent, they even offered us fried banana ! Keep going the good work.

The best Warung we visited during our entire trip to Bali. Absolutely delicious food and great prices! A very nice family. I'm sorry we were only in Sidemen for one night. Thank you very much and if I visit the area in the future I will definitely eat here. Fantastic
