Came here on a 6 year old Mark Wiens Video and the quality could have dropped since.
- Red snapper fish was extremely tough towards the head, like overcooked rubbery chicken, so we ate the body part only, which was also tough. The Special BBQ marinade was okay.
- Calamari was not fresh. We had fresher calamari in Italian restaurants in the middle of Seminyak. No need to waste your money for this.
- Clams were outright fishy and we suspect spoiled. We went for steamed garlic style for this.
Service was friendly, obviously catered to tourists but the waiter kept recommending the most expensive menu items, so if you choose to risk it & go, do your own research, study the menu, read the reviews & stick to your decision 🤷🏻♀️
As with all seafood restaurants, prices are by weight. So if you’ve never experienced this, please double check your food price so you’re not jaw dropped by your bill.
We come from Malaysia and definitely have had better quality & prices by the beaches back home too.
