I recently stayed at this hotel and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The room itself was clean, but the furniture was quite old. Taking a shower was uncomfortable, as the setup included a bathtub with only a small glass partition – water ended up all over the bathroom floor. It was also very noisy during the night, which made it hard to sleep. For the price we paid (180 CHF per night), breakfast was not included. When I mentioned at reception that this seemed unreasonable, the receptionist responded sarcastically, saying we didn’t pay that much and should “be happy” – definitely not the kind of customer service you’d expect. The hotel also advertised parking, but this was misleading. They don’t actually have their own parking; instead, you have to use a nearby option that costs 28 CHF per day, which quickly adds up. Overall, we will not return. Geneva has plenty of nicer hotels with far better service for the same or even lower price.

Geneva in June is lovely! First time staying at this hotel. Suggested by the family member that was with me, who had stayed here a few times. The room was comfortable - great beds and nicely appointed. Bathroom had everything you needed - fluffy towels, great products (no small bottles and I appreciate the environmentally friendly aspect), hairdryer (you have to grip the handle firmly and this triggers the hairdryer to come on). There was also an iron, ironing board, safe, mini fridge and TV with quite a few English channels. The room rate we booked came with daily breakfast, access to a gym on the same block as the hotel as well as a transit pass (good for the local public transport). This hotel is in an amazing location. Right across the street from the main station in the city. You can take trains, busses and trams just about anywhere. The station has just about everything you need - food, drinks, chocolate, pharmacy etc. The service was excellent from the reception to the restaurant.

The location is excellent — just a few steps from the train station, which makes it perfect for travelers using public transport. The housekeeping staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and their attitude really stood out during my stay. However, the downside is the constant street noise at night. Unfortunately, it was loud enough to affect my sleep, and I wouldn’t recommend this place for light sleepers. Overall, it’s a convenient option with great staff, but the lack of sound insulation is a serious issue that should be considered before booking.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights and had a very pleasant experience. I’d especially like to thank Steeve at the front desk — he was incredibly professional and kind, and I truly hope he becomes a hotel manager one day. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to all the front desk staff and the entire team for their warm and attentive service throughout my stay. My first night wasn’t very comfortable, as the room faced the street and was a bit noisy. However, the next morning, the hotel immediately arranged a much quieter room facing the courtyard. I packed my luggage before heading out, and by the time I returned, everything had already been moved to the new room — such thoughtful service! The hotel’s location is excellent, especially if you’re traveling by train, and the price is very reasonable for the quality and convenience. In a city like Geneva, where space is at a premium, this hotel — and its wonderful staff — truly made me feel at home. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Nice hotel in central location.Close to the lake, oposite the main train station. Rooms are OK, mini bar is empty and locked. The Service is very polite and kind, a wide choice of good food for breakfast.||I will likely stay in the Warwick again next time.

The hotel is very well located, was clean and comfortable. We paid for an upgrade to a penthouse, unfortunately in the room we were in there is a (locked) inter connecting door to another suite. This meant that there was little noise barrier between the rooms and we could hear conversations of the adjacent guests. The breakfast offering was extensive, but not spectacular quality and the "hot " items were tepid at best. There are also snacks in the room, that we were not made aware until check out were chargeable, in other hotels we have stayed in chargeable items are listed clearly or in the mini bar, if we had been aware of the cost (biscuits, chocolate, mints) we would just have used the shop across the road. Other establishments we have stayed in have had complimentary snacks, so this should be made clear as the cost looks to have been around £35 - not sure yet as unused deposit (£96) has not been refunded and a further balance has appeared as pending so could be considerably more than that.

A great hotel with friendly staff. I stayed at this hotel a few times already in the last few years, and every time I had a pleasant stay there. Breakfast is excellent, and the location- right next to the train station Cornavin- is super convenient. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Fantastic location and reasonable rates. Literally five minute walk to the water, shopping and tourist attractions. We booked on line last minute because decided we wanted to stay closer to the airport. Beautiful and clean. Rooms we comfortable, clean and quiet! Gent who checked us in was a tad snooty BUT Valet clued us in to free parking, on the street, literally at the front door! Will definitely be staying here again!!

Yelp
The location was convenient, near many restaurants and an easy walk to the lakefront. The bed was luxurious. The room was quiet. I liked that I could open the window. My main disappointment was that I only learned after my stay that I could have had complimentary breakfast. I was sure I had asked and was told no. (I remember this because in my previous trip to Europe, I had so enjoyed the hotel breakfast.) My other colleague said she only found out about the breakfast on her 4th day. Also, it was a bit difficult to get the receipt by email, so be sure to get it in hardcopy if you need one.

Yelp
We stayed here solely because it was a good rate advertised as a suite with a balcony across the street from the train station. The suite was important because we were a group of three and most European hotels only allow two per room. The location was attractive because we had a lot of bags. Here's what they don't tell you. The area immediately around the train station is really sketchy. I would not let me wife or daughter walk alone here. The balcony gets so much sun that it's not really usable during the day. Although there are retractable awnings, they will not work if there's much wind. You don't really get a suite in the traditional sense. It's a slightly longer room with a sofa couch. A suite is supposed to have a small, second room for the couch and TV. When I opened the sofa couch late at night, there was a brown substance smeared on the sheet. I didn't do a scratch and sniff test to determine if it was chocolate or something more nefarious. I stripped the sheets. Geneva is so small that the convenience of being across the street from the train station is nebulous. I don't plan to stay here again.

Yelp
Soooo, here's the thing: the rooms are small and not cute. BUT the staff is great and the breakfast is also good. It's right next to the train station and so very convenient but not in the best part of Geneva, in my opinion. We didn't really take to the area but there are tons of restaurants just not a lot of scenery. The area is bustling during the day and it's close to the lake, about 10-15 mins walk. The hotel is pricey and not worth the price. Additionally, like all places in Switzerland, the elevators are incredibly small. The lobby is nice and big and open. This hotel gets a lot of business given it's area. This was my least favorite place I stayed in Switzerland, the hotel kind of feels like a box and it's also a little stuffy. I'm sure there are better places in Geneva for the price point. (BUT the service was great!)

Yelp
Okay, so this hotel does not look like the pictures very much online. I think I had a better idea coming in of what I was going to get, but when arriving it was not what I expected. False advertising got me pretty good. But like what some other people mentioned the location for the hotel is great, as it is close to the major train station, plenty of restaurants, and nightlife as well. Some major set backs for me were first the bed. It was two queen size beds pushed together to make one king size bed. Hard part was trying to get the two beds to stay together. It the middle of the night I almost fell between the two beds multiple times. The bathrooms are very small as well as the elevators in this hotel. I understand not everyone is as big as some Americans but these elevators were some of the smallest I have ever seen. The staff here are not the friendliest people I have met before. I would recommend you stay here if you are close to the train station, but I do not think its worth the money.

Yelp
I've spent about five weeks at this hotel over the past few months, and it's definitely decent. The location is great if you need to take the train (which I do, because my office is in Meyrin). The hotel staff is pretty nice, although I have had some bad luck with some not-very-well-trained folks who hadn't yet mastered the check-in process and couldn't figure out how to print out my bill at checkout. The restaurant staff is generally pretty apathetic, but the food at the restaurant is fairly decent. I did get one of the "classic" rooms with the weird half-door... And I also took a picture of the door because it was so bizarre! The bathrooms in that room line are also ridiculously tiny with absolutely no counter space. As I was staying there for two weeks, the front desk was kind enough to switch me the next day to a room with a non- Harry Potter door. Rooms at the back of the hotel are really quiet, but I had to download a white noise app for my phone when I had a room that faced the station. Two things about this hotel that I actively dislike: while Warwick Hotels is a small chain, they have no loyalty program, which really stinks when you spend quite a bit of time there. And the beds are almost laughably hard! They are really uncomfortable, which is a shame because most of the rooms are pretty nice in all other respects.

Yelp
This is another hotel that I recommend to colleagues to stay at. It is directly opposite the train station. It is not much to look at from the outside, but the inside is nice. The restaurant is decent. Be careful when booking. They have these classic rooms that have not been renovated. The door into the room doesn't even look like a regular door as it is very narrow. It looks like a closet door. The classic rooms are not renovated, and are EXTREMELY narrow. The closet doors didn't even open all the way. I took a picture of my door compared to the other room doors because I had never seen such a size difference. They should change the room type to closet. The second time I staid there, I took a standard room, and they were fine. Still small, but not extremely narrow. :)

Yelp
As the old adage goes location, location, location - that is by far the biggest asset of this hotel and the friendly staff. The Warwick is located in front of the train station and pretty close to everything - there is even a shopping mall behind it. The location came in very handy when I was here in February given that it was freezing outside. Many restaurants are a short walk away as are the underground shops of the station. The rooms are fairly spacious as are the bathrooms. The Queen size beds are two small beds put together and if you sleep in the middle as I do you will fall right between the beds. The breakfast buffet featured the usual Swiss delights such as Bircher Muessli, eggs, croissants etc - very good. For the type of hotel that it is, a slightly older hotel, it's pretty good. Nice location, good staff - what else does one need.

Yelp
This review is for the restaurant. The food is ample, tasty, and elegant. The service is quick and pleasant. I ordered the 3 course menu and was exploding by the end of it and couldn't finish the dessert no matter how badly I wanted to. The atmosphere is quiet and the decor, simple yet elegant. I'd definitely go there again.

Yelp
This hotel is amazing. The lobby is decorated with marble walls and floors. The breakfast and food is excellent. Also the staff is very nice and a pleasure to be around.
