We rented a penthouse room with a terrace for 4 nights in October, 2025. The room smelled like sewage, which was brought to the attention of the staff. Also, the A/C was broken, as was a lamp in the room.
When this was brought to the attention of the staff by night 2, they said they didn’t have any other rooms to move us to, but that they would take care of it.
I was in the room when the staff came to inspect and they confirmed the smell and the lack of air conditioning. Despite this, they said that they couldn’t get a mechanical team out of fix it during our stay.
After spending over $2k for a short premium stay in their hotel, I’d expect the staff to handle the situation appropriately. Unfortunately not only did they walk back their diagnosis of the A/C not working, but they only offered to upgrade my next stay with them.
Not only was this a terrible finish to our European vacation, the senior management seems indifferent about making it right. Therefore, I’d strongly recommend choosing a different hotel during your stay in Geneva. I know I’ll never stay at a Warwick property again if this is how they treat their guests.
