Wasabi Running Sushi & Wok Restaurant

As a regular at Wasabi on Szépvölgyi út, I can confidently say this place never misses a beat. Whether it’s a quick lunch or a long dinner, the quality and atmosphere are consistently excellent. If you haven't tried their Bibimbap, you are missing out! It is my absolute favorite—perfectly balanced, savory, and incredibly satisfying every single time. I also frequently order the sushi, and my top recommendations are: Asakaki Roll: Fresh and flavorful. California Roll: A classic done exactly right. The service is what really sets this location apart. On our most recent visit, our waiter, ERIK, was fantastic. He was so kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality! I highly recommend Wasabi (Szépvölgyi út) to anyone looking for authentic flavors and a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be back soon

Our recent visit was truly delightful. The restaurant's ambiance was impeccably neat and pleasant, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, making us feel genuinely valued! (This is rare in Hungary)😋 The food was absolutely delicious, and I appreciated the diverse menu, which offered wonderful alternatives for those who might not prefer sushi! The drinks were also perfectly crafted. While the service prices are a touch higher than average, we found that the exceptional service and dedication to ensuring our complete satisfaction more than justified the expense. I would highly recommend this establishment for a truly enjoyable dining experience!!

The menu has a wide range of dishes and drinks to choose from. The place itself is big and spacy. The service from Eric was friendly and efficient. It's a bit pricey but similar to the prices in other restaurants like this

The sushi was fine, there exists better sushi. Not every thing appears on the belt and not a great price vs food deal. I would prefer to go somewhere else. But it was fine

We were very impressed by the food, service and the atmosphere of this restaurant. We had no reservations, but they took us in right away and got service quickly. The menu has a lot of good choices besides sushi. Servers were very attentive and suggested dishes for our picky kids. We love the food. Food was well presented and it had good taste. We got a couple of rolls, chicken curry plate , steak plate and noodles soup. The ambiance was really nice. I notice they have separate rooms for larger groups in case you want something more private.

The staff was very friendly, and everything was well organized overall. I especially liked the tablets with information about each dish – a nice touch. However, I felt that the value for money wasn’t quite right. The dishes were consistently good, but unfortunately lacked that special something you’d expect at this price point (over 20,000 HUF per person including service charge). I'm happy to pay for good food, of course – but in this case, it just felt rather average.
