I went alone and ordered a buffalo burger and tots, and had an IPA and a hefeweizen. It was so good that I had two whiskeys. A stumbling missionary and a bloody mary. It was really good. Specially, the draft beer is really really good here!!

Google
Got the bison burger and it came out on a bun that was still doughy, asked for another bun and my server Jack seemed super annoyed about it. My partner’s cheeseburger was soggy… it seems like they don’t let their patties rest before slapping them on the bun, then let them soak before a server can get them out. Beer was good but the service and food was bad. Update: the food made us sick, so there’s that.

Google
friendly, timing service and fun vibes! the beers are great - highly recommend getting a flight to explore all of their options! the hellfire is particular ~quirky~ and delicious. the chicken flautas were massive and delicious. am so appreciate of alexandra, our server who was so kind and attentive!! thank you for a fab evening 🫶🏼

Google
The Wasatch Brew Pub in Sugar House was delicious. I got the Ute burger that had a queso cheese and it was awesome! I also got the sidewinder fries, but next time we’ll get tater tots. We ate there in the winter, but this place looks like it would be fun to dine at in the summer with their outdoor seating. There is a parking lot below the restaurant that they will validate for. We ate at the Wasatch Brew Pub at the airport and I really disliked it so I was hesitant to come here but this place is really good.

Clean establishment, seated quickly, friendly staff. Ordered the staek, and Italian sub. Prices are fair. Drew did a great job. Ask for him if you go by.

Google
Very good food, and free parking is a plus. We are always seated quickly, and the inside is very nice too. High ceiling with two walls of big windows. All of the appetizers have been really good. Wings, artichoke dip, loaded Mac n cheese, all very good. Main dishes are also very good, not quite as good as their appetizers though. I know some places try to do their own take on fries, and this is one. They are a sort of curly cut steak fry. Personally I would recommend the tater tots as a side instead.

Google
A small but good collection of beers on tap. The food is consistently good and locally sourced. A solid place for up-themed pub inspired food. The fig pizza is tasty. Buffalo burger had a rich texture and was delicious.

Google
I was pleasantly surprised by this place! This was a great place to watch the NCAA championship they had a lot of TV’s. The Buffalo wings were amazing!! My husband got the Bison burger which was so good and seasoned very well. I got the fig pizza which was good too. Service was great everyone was very friendly! Forgot to take pictures of the food but just take my word for it!

Yelp
Treated myself to a delicious Happy Hour margarita pizza with gluten free crust and a pint of the Big U Pilsner!! Both were delicious!! Decided to get dessert as well and got a shot of Jameson and the Beerimasu!! Yum!! Always a fun vibe at Wasatch!! Service was great!! Can't wait to come back!!

Yelp
We thankfully had reservations on a busy Saturday night. Overall, the service was great! We had to wait a bit for our server but she was friendly. Food... eh. It was ok. I had the special: pasta with chicken. The pasta was cold, had tons of peppers (my fault for not asking what was in it) and the sauce was pretty tasteless. My husband had the burger and said it was ok. Atmosphere... not bad but very loud and hard to hold a conversation.

Yelp
3/5 Stars I visited Wasatch Pub and Brew recently and had a mixed experience. The food was good, not great, and the drinks were decent, though quite pricey for the small portions served in tiny martini glasses. What really soured the experience was the service. While the server was friendly at first, she constantly interrupted our conversation, which got a bit frustrating. To top it off, when we were leaving, she chased me down because she felt her tip wasn't high enough--even after we bought merchandise from their store. It felt tacky and rude, and probably enough for me not to return. Lydia be better your customers deserve it

Yelp
Came back to this place again and tried the French dip, which was really good, and the steak sandwich. It was ok, not bad.

Yelp
The Food : I stopped in a couple of weeks ago to hang with my dinner group that goes out every Wednesday, I wasn't terribly hungry because I made a Costco run prior to this, those samples will get ya... I ordered Chicken Nachos to share with my friends, also so that I wouldn't over fill my already stuffed belly. THEY WERE AWESOME! I tried to be gracious and let my guys share, but honestly I just wanted to shovel them for myself. My Friends got burgers, salads and other fare on their menu, they all enjoyed their meals very much, but I've been dreaming about those cheesy, gooey, delicious nachos ever since. The Service: I hate going into a brew pub and ordering my standard lemonade. As someone who used to drink and wait tables, I know the stigma against us non-alcy's. But honestly I think my friend filled in that gap for me. The server was professional and friendly, and quick to grab refills and follow up on questions. The Restaurant: It's a brew pub, it's loud, sports playing on every TV, very clean and very well organized in the public spaces. Summary: I need to revisit this place again, The nachos are a must, but I need to try other items on their menu. SLC can be a bit saturated with the brew pubs, and the fact that I don't drink makes them pretty pale on my list of places to eat, but appetizers will make all the difference for me in a pub. The Appetizers here are awesome.

Yelp
Wasatch Brew Pub is the quintessential pub in Salt Lake. I've been many times now as I live in Sugarhouse, but it certainly never fails. This visit, we were seated on the patio for perfect Sept/Oct fall weather. Our server was great and checked in on us seemingly right when we needed him. For food, we shared the spinach and artichoke dip and the calamari, and both exceeded my expectations. For my main, I got the bbq pulled pork sandwich which perfectly met my expectations of an above-average brew pub. I also ordered two beers, the Swede Ally nitro stout and the Coalition Hellfire chili pepper ale which, to be honest, disappointed my beer-loving palette, but the experience was still great all around. I'll be back here every couple months when I don't want to make steak sandwiches at home or am just looking for a relaxing time for good food and drinks.

Yelp
This was amazing! The other photos on yelp don't do it justice. We also had flights and they were lovely
google avatar

Lauren K.

Yelp
Whenever I am in SLC, this is a must. Let's begin with the fact their lead beer mocks the history of Joseph Smith and the Mormons. As a neverMo, that is where they had me. Oh Sugarhouse, keep it up! Set into spunky SugarHouse, Wasatch offers a wide array of beers. My favorite are the west coast or New England style IPAs. The food is good too, I opt for a salad when I go and always have lunch for the next day. The staff are friendly. I love the lounge style seats downstairs between the bar and tables. It's a cozy environment and even has free Wi-Fi. Indoor and outdoor seating available. See website for more details. It's usually busy, so plan ahead. There is also a location at the airport.
google avatar

April P.

Yelp
Editing my review to correct for what Wasatch has control over. I'm hopeful the beer selections get better! Claire the bartender is a damn gem. The wings are a delight. No breading. Just a solid classic wing. But the beer selection... First, their Ghostrider White IPA was made seasonal. Boo. Second, it's the end of September and they have no seasonal Wasatch beers. The beer choices are a result of Monster buying the restaurant. It's a total disaster. I'm so so sad. I came here every fall for their seasonal brews. Not anymore. Come on corporate! Get it together and give the people what they want.

Yelp
Have a lovely time here having dinner. FYI there's parking around the corner. That's free underground. As long as you get validated from your server. Drinks were good. Food was great. Atmosphere was fun would come back.

Yelp
This place is excellent! I just wish I lived closer to it. It's usually crowded but that's always a good sign of a good place. I think bar and pub food is always good. The food is filling and delicious. The fish and chips are awesome. I recommend the Bavarian pretzel and the elote tots which is tater tots and they come with a bunch of delicious dipping sauces.
google avatar

Christian T.

Yelp
I think this place has a great ambiance and indoor area, but the food is lacking something. The wings, which are supposed to be standard for a bar, were pretty lackluster and covered in sauce. I couldn't even finish it because it was soaked in sauce. Even for the chicken itself, it was pretty unimpressive and subpar. That's the reason for the 2 star deduction. However, I liked the fish and chips. I substituted the fries for tater tots, which I highly recommend. The fish was perfectly fried, and the fish itself was slightly above average. Service took a while unfortunately, which was a little disappointing. I would go here for a beer with a friend, but would consider going elsewhere for the food.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
Wasatch is always a great option! Yes, the Sugarhouse construction is terrible and never ending, but I still love the area!! They had deals for specific food because of the construction actually. I love the casual seating in the middle of the restaurant with the beautiful green chairs. They have a bar area, regular tables, and (depending) an outside patio. The elote tots are a must, but wish they were warmer. The Caesar salad was the perfect size for lunch or dinner. Both cocktails we got were made really well too. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush so wasn't a major issue.
google avatar

Erika D.

Yelp
This location is one of the best spots for friends from across the valley to get together and the menu has enough options to satisfy everyone, good food and good drinks. Service is friendly.
google avatar

Katie W.

Yelp
This brew pub is a fun place for dates or celebrations. The service has always been good. They have a bunch of beer options and pretty good food. However, their food has never stood out to me, never leaving a memorable mark or craving of a flavor. There are brew pubs in SLC with better food, but this place's location--in the heart of Sugarhouse--cannot be beat. They also allow dogs on the patio!
google avatar

Kurt C.

Yelp
Experience here was ok throughout. When we showed up it was dead with only one other couple there. I kind of expected it to be a bit better service because if this. The drink service was quick and everything tasted great. The Bavarian pretzel was disappointing as it was just a frozen type. It was good but not what you expect for $10. The mustard sauce was amazing though. I don't remember the name of the burger I got but it was a Cajun taste. It's hard to critique that because I believe I'm just not a big Cajun fan. Overall it was an ok experience but nothing to rave about.
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
Food: Poke bowl tastes great, but too small. It is smaller than a regular poke bowl you would get at a poke place. Parking: free underground parking. Parking entrance on the east side of the building. Environment: decent place for company get together. Loud but not too loud. Service is great.
google avatar

Erin T.

Yelp
We've been coming here for a few years now and have always loved the food, beer, and outdoor patio. However our recent visit no server came around, we eventually had to flag someone down. Many things out of our order were forgotten and had to ask for twice. Even down to the check we had to close out at the bar because no one came back around. Food was good but awful service.
google avatar

Yelp
We stopped for dinner at Wasatch Brew Pub and we were IMPRESSED. It's a beautiful spot, more elevated and elegant that most brew pubs. They did a wonderful job with noise absorption. It should have been a lot louder in there for as many people were in there but the noise level was great. We ordered the fried pickles and calamari as appetizers, both were very good and the sauces they came with paired well. My BF and I shared a flight and we were very happy with all the beers we tried. I think we were most impressed by the jalapeno cream ale and the apricot hefe. I ordered a full pour of the cream ale! Our table ordered the pork shank x2, the spicy chicken sandwich and the chicken cilantro bowl. The pork shank was beautiful, we were all so impressed by the quality and level of food coming from a brewery. Overall this was one of the nicest brew pubs i've visited. In my experience, brew pubs are nicer than just a brewery taproom but none that I have visited have been as nice as Wasatch.

Yelp
Very cool place, great service, food was just OK. Both my wife and I ordered the sliders. My side was tater tots, hers were french fries The problem we both had was that the buns were stale. Everything else was fine, the sides were good. But stale buns are hard to overlook. I also thought the burgers had been fried off a couple of hours ago, although my wife did not agree. Hence the three star rating. Come on guys This is not that hard. If you're making a burger and the buns are stale, then throw them in the trash and get fresh ones. Four stars plus if not for this.

Yelp
Service great food excellent Beer even Better! We had Lager and Wit both delicious food wise we had salads with blue cheese very good dressing bye, and nap tacos with carnitas and a big pretzel all excellent would definitely come back
google avatar

Yelp
I had the quinoa salad w/ chicken and it was amazing! The beers I tasted were equally amazing. Service was top shelf. I had the chance to meet with the manager, Cameron, to talk about having a large gathering and he was incredibly helpful, professional, and completely knowledgeable about what I was looking for. Can't wait to put this gathering together and share the gem I found!

Yelp
food: we didn't have any food but we got drinks because we ate prior. I got two i think raspberry ciders, but they were super yummy. Parking: they have parking underground and validated parking i think for 2 hours. service: we came in the middle of the day and wasn't too busy. Ambiance: feels more like a restaurant than an actual pub which is fine. They have lots of food to have. recommendation: yes
google avatar

Eric M.

Yelp
Food is ok. Service is super slow. They are really just not on top of things. 10 minutes from seating to first interaction from waiter. 15 from asking for box to get the check. 15 minutes to get credit card back.
google avatar

Isaac S.

Yelp
We had a great server Maddison, the only thing I didn't like about the place was lighting. It was hard for me - a glasses wearer to see between the minimal interior lighting and the huge awesome windows. I had the bison burger which was decent, very hard to eat cleanly as the patty overlaps the bun(we want this), but there was no char on the burger so it made for a squishy yet enjoyable experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Good place with a full menu. Good beer selection. Our waitress was awesome. Get the breaded pickles. Legit. Fish and chips were fresh. Definitely be back

Peter E.

Yelp
What a great location. The atmosphere is very ambient. They have 2 story high ceilings. The food is above par for pub fare. I eat here often. I love the Lambert Burger and their Fish and Chips. When I have pizza, I order it custom with my fav three toppings. Occasionally, they offer a special of Chicken Fajitas. I will get that every time it is available. I will usually add shrimp to that. I wish the Chicken Fajitas were on the menu all the time. I love the high point beers. Some have called me pretentious about my beers. The beer selection at Wasatch Brew Pub does not disappoint. I find the servers to be interesting, friendly and very professional. To me, this reflects on some great management. They are truly managed and trained well at my Sugar House location. I love my Wasatch Brew Pub. I go there a several times a month.

Yelp
This was one of our last places we stopped at in SLC. Sunday morning was fairly quiet and we had a great bartender. Beer was good. One thing to know is that Utah has a weird law around alcohol. If you order more than one drink you have to get food. We did not know that before hand! So plan ahead.
google avatar

Elysse W.

Yelp
We had a reservation at 11:30AM on a Sunday morning. The restaurant had one other couple and our little family of four...which was a little concerning or premium brunch hour. However, we were greeted promptly, the host was kind and our waitress was fantastic. She was friendly, was able to make menu recommendations based off of experience and made us feel very welcomed. The facility was clean, the bathrooms were clean and easy to get to. My two-year-old daughter ordered the kids french toast and side of fruit. The fruit variety was spot-on and beautifully displayed. My six-year-old ordered the kids chicken fingers and ranch. The fries were great, however the chicken fingers were over-salted and she didn't end up eating more than one. I ordered the breakfast burrito and added the smothering with Pork Chili Colorado. Unfortunately, the way the burrito was rolled didn't allow for me to experience all of the yummy that it held. The first half of the burrito had tortilla and egg and it wasn't until passing the halfway point that I had any bacon. The burrito with bits of everything was decent. The tater tots were perfection and paired perfectly with my breakfast beer! My husband ordered the Hot Oatmeal and could t stop raving about it. The texture, the seasoning and consistency was just like he likes it! He said he would be back for sure. The beer was delicious. The temperature was nothing short of perfection. For us as a little family of four, I'd go back for the potatoes and beer! The staff made our experience amazing!!

Yelp
Great service from Ann Marie, very sweet and fast service. In airport convenient and quick, prices are reasonable.

Gabrielle H.

Yelp
This place was awesome! The food was fantastic, and the spinach artichoke dip was the best I have ever had. Of course the beers were super tasty as well, and the fries (I can't remember what they called their specific type of fries) were so good, and unique. The burger was FILLING! Customer service was also very impressive. We were served by a server named Jed, and he was super friendly and very knowledgeable. He was on top of taking care of us, and we never had to wait to order anything additional, or wait for extra napkins, etc. Overall, I am 100% in love with this place and will for sure be going back!

Edward L.

Yelp
Probably better for non vegetarians. My burger was grey and the LTOP was hidden under my fries. $20 for the ambiance but I took my food to go and am struggling to finish my meal. Service wasn't the best or the worst. A disappointing middling expensive.
google avatar

JT N.

Yelp
Gone way down hill food sucks now. The staff are all friendly and nice. But wow what awe-full food lately, tasteless over cooked fried fish , frie tasteless batter & Wesson oil ? The Charcuterie board was clearly premade days before the meats were dry , crackers stale, the plastic ghetto cups for the mustard & the other mush was a bad presentation for the money charged! Just sad , I like the beer but I can beer at any location, please guys get that kitchen back to where it used to be, NEW COOK or manager whatever it takes , I'm looking fur hood food not HOOD food . I miss the good food.

Yelp
What a refreshing place for dinner on Valentine's Day. The past few years we've been to fancy restaurants with expensive fixed meals. This was totally opposite--laidback atmosphere, wonderful service, lots of great menu options, etc. The only negative is no street parking nearby, but there is a large underground parking lot and the end of the street which Wasatch validates. Sara was a spectacular server. She had good recommendations and was very attentive. We couldn't believe how quickly our food arrived. Everything was delicious--tomato bisque made with coconut milk and fresh herbs, beet salad with almonds/fried goat cheese croutons/jicama/spinach/arugula/red wine vinaigrette, calamari, meatloaf with bacon/mashed potatoes/gravy/fried onions/carrots, then finally salted caramel apple pie a la mode. We loved every bite. Several other employees made the experience welcoming: Brett was a good host who gave me several seating choices, the male server who brought dessert complimented my blouse, and another hostess ensured we had parking validation. I wish we had this restaurant closer to our home, but we will probably return many more times.
google avatar

Caitlin S.

Yelp
The waiter was super spunky and friendly! He took our order immediately and was very engaging with the customers (I think his name was Ethan). The food was great!
google avatar

Carter J.

Yelp
Great food, great service, and they let us sit with our dog outside. A little expensive, but a wide selection of food.
google avatar

Sydney J.

Yelp
Love the vibe and quick service! Top 3 Favs are the Bison Burger, Classic Burger, and the New York Strip.
google avatar

Josh F.

Yelp
We met a few of our friends here that we're visiting from out of town because they wanted to try some local beers. I personally do not drink so I cannot speak for the drinks but our friends sure seemed to enjoy them. This review will be focused on the food portion of their menu. I ordered the Cubano with Fries. I must admit and say this is one of the better Cubano I have tried in Utah but that also isn't saying much because we don't know what a real one even tastes like so sadly it wasn't my favorite one I have ever had. My wife ordered the Caesar Salad with Chicken and she said it was just alright. I think all in all this is a better option for someone that is looking for some good beers and not sure much good food. They do validate parking at the public parking underneath so make sure to take advantage of that if you can.
google avatar

Lisa B.

Yelp
Great place if you really just want to drink. Food is not memorable and it's relatively loud. Service is always attentive and polite. The building is attractive and comfortable.
google avatar

Bekah C.

Yelp
I love pub food and pub atmosphere, but every once in a while I want elevate my pub-dining experience a little. And Wasatch Brew Pub is the perfect place to do that! We traded in our usual beer and pretzel for wine and Brussel sprouts. I tend to steer clear of fish in Utah, but the grilled salmon was an excellent choice recommended by our waitress. Wasatch Brew Pub knows how to take care of any variety of patrons. Whether it's to watch a sports game with some friends, or celebrate a significant milestone, Wasatch Brew Pub has something for everyone!

Lauren S.

Yelp
I was just visiting in town & stopped in to have a drink and dessert. I was absolutely in love with their famous Polyamorous Porter Chocolate Brownie, couldn't go wrong with this choice! The drink was amazing, I couldn't help myself but to order another after finishing the first! My server was friendly and efficient. The hosts greeted me and sat me promptly. The layout of this brewery is social and open. I would love to come back and visit!
google avatar

Hannah H.

Yelp
Food was just okay but wasn't really blown away with the quality for how much you pay. We went here to meet up with my husbands boss that came into town and they enjoyed their drinks. The kids all seemed happy with their meals and the waitress was very kind and professional. It definitely can be a little loud if your trying to have a conversation at the table but otherwise nothing crazy to complain about. Nachos where great for sharing with the whole table.
google avatar

Fae H.

Yelp
Steak Salad. Yum!! We overloaded on the tots and not sure Id order them again. Great atmosphere and beers. Patio seating is ideal for those warm summer nights.
google avatar

Diana D.

Yelp
Had the Taco Salad and it was delicious. The dressing was also very good, although the salad doesn't even need dressing. Service was also quick and helpful. Hope to go back soon!
google avatar

Nicole M.

Yelp
Wasatch Brew Pub is always a solid place to eat and grab a drink. The food is always good, same with the service. The beer is really great and tastes so fresh since it's made so close by. Is it the best food in SLC? No. But it is definitely good. The menu has a large variety. We love going!
google avatar

Chad S.

Yelp
Jalapeño cream ale! The main reason for checking out Wastach Brew Pub all the hype behind this beer. Or should say one of my hockey Ohana hyping it up all wedding weekend. No way he was not going to get some. Always been fan of micro brews from my time in Colorado. It not often near Salt Lake City and get try it on tap at original brewery. Psyched! Wasatch Brew Pub is located in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City. I like the whole area with all restaurants and shops. The brewery is nice nothing stands out about the interior or be wow about. Micro-brewery all about the beer anyway. I like dining big open space with high ceilings so easy to have conversations (lot of the tables pretty close together), small bar area up front, and outside patio area not big but great spot enjoy weather. Food was solid! We had big party over ten of us. So appetizers just about ordered one of everything for the table. All good the Calamari and Fried Pickles stood out the most for me. I ordered The Wastach Burger that was awesome!! The bread, burger cooked perfect, and sauce all came together beautifully. It was the perfect compliment with the Jalapeño cream ale. The Jalapeño cream ale definitely loved it up to the hype! It nothing find that flavor beer cause of the jalapeño. It had right balance smell the jalapeño but once try it subtle taste and well balance! Service was five stars! Our waitress was rockstar take care of party of ten. She was on it the whole time!!

Polly P.

Yelp
The servers are always great but what has happened to the food? I've waited to write this review to see if it was just a bad few times but it's not. Is it made fresh to order because it doesn't taste like it. Lettuce/vegetable are usually brown old. The hummus is just garbanzo beans with no flavoring. Actually, nothing has much flavor anymore and I get served with a plate that are chipped/cracked every time too. For the rise in cost, I would expect the food to be freshly made to order and have some flavor to it with nice plates. Come on Wasatch, you were a favorite for us for so long. Bring back the fresh food, flavor and plates without chips/cracks. Please!

Yelp
Came later on a Monday evening as most places closed by 9pm so not many options available. Food was good, carne asada tacos were tasty but didn't have a ton of meat, mostly filler but burger was good. Sangria punch was perfect on a hot night. Has a cool vibe and would definitely go back-appetizer menu looks great and seems like a good spot to watch some football.
