This little spot seems to attract locals and foreigners so we decided to give it a try. Specializing in sushi dishes, we ordered a variety of servings to see ehst the fuss is all about. Glad to say that most of the food was not bad, service was fast and taste was quite good. Overall it was not bad.

While I'm in Osaka, whenever I can't think of where to go for lunch or dinner, I come here. It's very popular amongst tourists and locals, there are all types of Japanese food, sushi, hot pot, sukiyaki, kids menu, drinks, liquor...you name it. The food isn't at its best but given the price it's at par. Service is satisfactory.

Great restaurant in the busy Umeda district. Love every dish we ordered, the place was big enough to accommodate our party size of 5 during busy dinner hour. Service was fast even during busy dinner hour.

This restaurant is near our hotel and appears to be quite popular among the local & foreigner so we came to try. Not sure if it’s the items we ordered but there were hits and misses.
We first had pickled mackerel sushi and today’s sushi special each to start. The mackerel sushi was average, so was the sushi special (my sushi rice came apart from the scallop). Then we shared some beef teppanyaki which came in a small grill to let the meat brown a little. It was nice but nothing special about it. The chef’s sashimi platter was the menu highlight. Again nothing special about it. The salad however had an unexpected sweet and savory mix with the sweet potato included. We then finished off with the matsutake mushroom in a claypot rice. The latter was brought to our table and cooked on the spot for a good 30min. The result is this freshly cooked rice full of mushroom earthiness.
The place was very busy when we were there. We had to alert the wait staff for our soya sauce plate after our sushi sets had arrived, and to request the wait staff twice for some water.

Highly recommended for tourists from abroad.
Already well known abroad for good sushi at the right price.
The English menu is somewhat inadequate, but if you can eat any nigiri sushi, just ask the chef to '"nigiri omakasede." (leave it to you.)in Japanese and he will provide you with delicious sushi. In this case, make sure you sit at the counter.
If you are a sushi gourmet, you should order "sashimi" first before ordering sushi. Of course, you can also taste tempura, for example. These are, so to speak, appetisers,
after which you order the main sushi, which is what a sushi gourmet does.

The variety available here is mind boggling. Every dish is good as well. Have to get use to smokers within the vicinity as well. Price is decent. Service was good. Walk in.

Tuna sets were great, and the unagi was tasty.

You can taste pure traditional Japanese cuisine here. Each dish is decorated with dedication. Although the food is made with the chef's heart (I assume), after all they are Japanese traditional food so they may match your preference OR NOT.
