Waskar Expeditions

I've now done 2 different bike expeditions out of Cusco and in the Sacred Valley. Both trips were amazing and Waskar was a fantastic guide. Very friendly, safe, and knowledgeable. You will learn about local culture and see amazing views. Highly recommend 👌

Our trip with Waskar was kismet. We were looking for a local company that did expeditions to Rainbow Mountain, and ended up getting much more than that. The owner, Waskar, was incredible and truly loves and has so much pride in his Peruvian culture and we were lucky enough to experience it through his eyes. Highly recommend a private tour as it provides a much more intimate cultural setting that you may not experience with a larger group. On day 1, we did Rainbow Mountain and Red Valley (which was more breathtaking than Rainbow Mountain- trust me), and on Day 2 we hiked Ausangate (7 Lakes). Wasker really made the experience for us; he is so thoughtful, fun, genuine, and truly just wanted to share his culture with us. Such a memorable experience and we are so honored to have been part of the world he shared with us. 10/10 would recommend any excursions with him!

We had an amazing experience in Machu Pichu with Waskar. The tour he gave us was tailored perfectly to us, he is a great story teller and it didn't feel rushed at all. You can tell that he really cares about the culture of Peru and he was very interesting and also very funny. The price is also very reasonable when compared to other tours. We have been travelling for 11 months in 35 countries, have been on countless tours and Waskar was definitley up there with the best guides we have had and we would recommend anyone to take a tour with him.

This was hands down one of the best tours of my life. He not only showed us an amazing time but he also shared his amazing culture with us. You can tell how much he cares about the people he is giving tours to. It is not just something to do. It is something that he loves to do. If you were looking for any experience and Peru please take him up on his truly amazing adventures!

I would have rated 10 stars if I could. Waskar Expedition made our trip memorable and we couldn't have asked for more. Waskar is a professional who takes pride in the work he does, his attachment to the Peruvian culture shone in each of the tours he took us on. He laid out in detail each and every step of our tours and was always available to answer all our questions. He managed each leg of our journey flawlessly, he never forced us into anything and made sure we enjoyed and took time into explaining the beautiful culture and history of Peru. I would definitely recommend and insist to take up Waskar Expedition as your gateway to Cusco.

We had a great time with waskar, clearly he has a lot of knowledge about Peru, and especially Machu pichu. A great personality, lot of loughing and overall a good experience. Sometimes the drivers were late but we had everything at all times, and went to all the important places.

Waskar is the best. Before the tour we didn’t know what to expect, and thought he may be trying to overcharge us. After failing to negotiate the rate, we took a leap of faith and started a private tour. But we left the tour with a brother and a friend for life. Would recommend to anyone in the world!!!
