Wat Chana Songkhram is a peaceful gem in the heart of Bangkok, and visiting it was truly a beautiful experience. We spent some quiet time sitting and meditating in the serene temple grounds, soaking in the calm and spiritual energy of the place. One of the most special moments for us was offering a small gift to a monk and sharing that we were recently married. In return, the monk kindly chanted blessings for our future together and tied a white sacred thread around our wrists, a meaningful and memorable gesture we’ll always treasure. The entire experience felt very personal, warm, and uplifting. It’s not just a place to visit, it’s a place to feel, reflect, and connect. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a deeper cultural and spiritual experience in Bangkok.

Very nice and beautiful temple, maybe it is not so popular in Bangkok like Wat Arun, Wat Pak Nam Phasi, Wat Suthat and others, but it has its own charm, beauty and it is just so good being here. I visited it in June 2025, in the afternoon, after 4 pm, and there were almost no people. I also was lucky to hear the pray of monks🙏 It is just a calm beautiful place to stop and think about all, about yourself and your life, about the world in global, and then to thank God for all you have, and to pray... at least, this is what I do usually when I visit temples. I recommend to visit it if you're nearby. The dress code is the same as other Buddhist temples in Thailand.

An ancient temple definitely worth visiting, name loosely translated - winner of war. Suitable for making wish for #1 Lawyer after clinching their new case. #2 Student entry exam. #3 work and career.

This is a hidden gem that you should not miss when visiting bangkok. We visited during the week and it was quiet and peaceful, unlike the overcrowded Grand Palace.

Incredibly beautiful Buddhist Temple. Inside and outside are both incredible, ornate, impressive, and tranquil. Words do not do justice to describe this temple. You must see it in person. Please take off your shoes when entering the praying area of the temple, no shorts or tattoo showing. Highly highly recommended visit 😎👍

The temple on the other side of the famous Khao San road. This temple is famous among the locals who want to pray to achieve/conquer something. The name of the temple Wat Chana Songkhram means Conquer the war in Thai. There are paid parking lots available inside for 20 THB per hour. You can also park here if you want to go traveling in Khao San road.
