While exploring Hua Hin, I kept noticing ads on local buses for this place. It piqued my curiosity, so one day, we decided to check it out. The site itself is surprisingly spacious and more like a park than a traditional temple. There’s ample parking, a lovely park area, a lake, several pavilions, and a handful of booths selling snacks and other items. When we visited, only a few booths were open, likely because it wasn’t high season, and we arrived close to sunset, just before 5 PM. The highlight here is the enormous statue of Luang Phor Tuad, a revered monk known for performing miracles about 400 years ago. Surrounding the base of this colossal statue are four smaller images tucked into niches. On the ground floor are two big wooden elephants and locals circle them and walk underneath them for good luck. You can also spot a statue of King Taksin on horseback and pavilions you can explore. This entire area feels more like a park instead of a temple, everything is open and spacious. Entry is free, but if you’d like to support the place, you’re welcome to leave a donation. Just remember to dress appropriately.

A short drive from Hua Hin you find this impressive temple. The temple was built in 1964 and displays a twelve metres tall statue of the 16th century monk Luang Phor Thuad who according to history turned saltwater into drinking water on several occasions. Erawan the three headed elephant also found the way to the beautiful Wat Huay Mongkol. Definitely worth the visit. Please remember to dress accordingly if entering the temple.

The temple was peaceful and filled with the faith of people from all over who came to pay respects to Luang Pu Thuad… Our family was very happy for our first visit to this temple. There is a large area of this temple where you can feed fish and deers. Regardless of religion, I highly recommend tourists to visit this temple.

This Temple is amazing and shares a deep history of Buddhism and Buddhists in Thailand. Luang Pu Thuat, a highly revered monk serve the Thailand Buddhist community for over a century! It is said that anyone who possessed an amulet made in his era, contain superpowers of protection that were sacred.

Large temple with lots of things to explore. Great for a family afternoon trip. Large buddha to pay respects to, ponds to feed the fish and even a dear park that you should pay a visit.

What a lovely temple area. The statue from the old monk is impressive, but don't forget to explore the complete area with many other shrein and lakes. For me the highlight was the massive Budda statue at the far end of the era. I was lucky and had the place for myself. Most people stay around the monk statue

Transquil and big estate. The big statue will meet you the moment u reach the temple. There is a fish pond right behind the temple where you can pay to feed the carps. When u reach the pond you will find a pleasant surprise, a gold buddha statue from the neighbouring temple.

An impressive place, especially in the local story surrounding the monk to whom the complex is dedicated. The monument to King Narasawan is impressive and unique.
