We had a ball!!! I purchased a 8 person cabana which I got on a discount rate for $301 on a Saturday. They are usually $499-800 depending on day and time purchased. I purchased our tickets off of tripster.com which they were $45 for a Saturday. With the cabana you get free water bottles, and depending group size of cabana a meal voucher for 30% off meals from select restaurants. I paid roughly $22 for meals with the voucher for what everyone wanted to eat. Also, I wished I would’ve purchased the wristbands because we had to wait 15-30 minutes for rides when people with the wristbands were constantly getting on and off , the price per wristband for unlimited rides and advantage of skipping the lines was an additional $34. I’m glad I did purchase the cabana because there were no empty beach chairs to put our towels. The cabana purchase also came with a locker. I was so happy my 3 yr old nephew was able to enjoy majority of the rides with us. He couldn’t rides 3 rides which was fine because we got on the rides that fit 4-5 people with his height range. He had a blast l, put a huge smile on their faces! We will be returning next summer!

Great water park for the price, I highly recommend getting a platinum membership for free parking as it is on the expensive side. There’s plenty of parking spaces, and it’s pretty much all pavement, but there are some gravel parking spaces if it gets too packed. They have a nice amount of water rides/slides and plenty of food options for kids and adults. The selection of rides is nice too, lots of different style water slides, my favorite one is Colossal Curl and the Cutback Water Coaster. I hadn’t been in almost a decade and went last week on Saturday August 2, 2025. If you need to change or shower, most of the restrooms have showers or a changing area. The crowds were definitely in full effect and they do have quick queue to bypass the line which is good for most rides, but I noticed the way they do their quick queue causes the line to be even longer than what it was since only one person or raft can go down at a time for bigger rides like Cutback Water Coaster. Weather was around 75-80 degrees with low humidity, but it did get cooler towards the end of the day. The water was warmed up for some of the slides but a couple were freezing lol. They stayed open until 11pm for an Aqua Glow Pool Party event, but I left at park close which was 8pm since it was too cool to be on water rides that late. I had a great day and look forward to going back again soon. Check out my YouTube channel Angelo Giles for a vlog and more!

T’was a fun day at Water Country USA! Despite a couple of unexpected thunderstorms that briefly interrupted our plans, the weather cleared up and we were able to enjoy several rides. The park had a great atmosphere, and once the skies opened up again, the fun continued. A memorable day with just a touch of adventure from Mother Nature! Water Country USA features a variety of attractions, including slides and rides, a giant wave pool, a lazy river, and designated play areas for children. Guests can experience thrill rides like Colossal Curl™, the park's first family thrill ride and the first of its kind in North America. Other popular attractions include corkscrew slides and river rafting with tunnels and falls.

100% Recommend! This was my second time visiting, and definitely not my last. My kids absolutely love the playground—it's spacious enough for everyone to play and have fun without feeling crowded. It’s a great place to make family memories. That said, come prepared! Bring all your essentials because the gift shop is very overpriced. For example, a waterproof phone pouch was $35—something you could easily find for much less at Target or Five Below. Also, don’t forget a change of clothes, especially for the kids. With the large crowds (we went on a Wednesday during summer), the limited number of showers means you likely won’t get to rinse off before leaving. The water park itself is huge, so expect a good amount of walking if you want to experience everything it has to offer. Despite the crowds and high prices, it’s still a great time and perfect for a fun summer outing with the family. P.S. Only took pictures of the playground because I was enjoying myself as well.

Google
I visited Water Country USA in Williamsburg and had a generally thrilling experience with a wide variety of waterslides, a massive wave pool, and a fun lazy river. The rides like Aquazoid Amped and Hubba Hubba Highway were exciting and scenic, but the park was extremely crowded when I visited, leading to long waits and some chaos in high-traffic areas. The staff and lifeguards seemed mostly attentive and safety-focused, though a few reviews mentioned less-than-ideal interactions and slow entry/billing procedures in peak times. Overall, it was fun and adrenaline-filled, but the crowds and logistics slightly dampened the day.

Google
Rides are good, lots of different areas with different things to do. Food is ok and expensive. I bought the all day pass for $30 a person, it’s worth it in a way. You can get an entrée dessert side and a drink every 90 minutes. But my kids were more thirsty than hungry. They have water fountains throughout the park. The downside is lack of seating.

Google
This is a world-class water park. Great variety of slides and amenities. Capacity is geared towards selling quick queue tickets. On busy days they are worth it for the big slides. There are two limitations you should be aware of. Firstly, this park is not suitable for single riders. There are no single rider lines, and you have to ask other groups to join their rafts. Not recommended for introverts. Secondly the park is not accessible with public transportation or by foot. You need a car. Uber drop offs have to queue with the regular line into the park. This should be fixed. For families arriving by car, these two points would not be a problem.

Google
First time visiting & I will definitely be back! My son - who’s 7- and myself had an absolute amazing time. The park was so clean. The staff were so friendly. The food was delicious. The rides were fun & the wait times were extremely short. We loved every second!

Yelp
Worth it: *The wave pool (they have a timer so you can see when the next waves start) *The lazy river, for when you are tired of waiting in line, and just want a few minutes of just relaxing. Even if you are good swimmer, I recommend grabbing a life jacket. Then you can put your feet up and float away. The signs and decorations are so cute too. *Colossal Curl Best slide hands down! There isn't a lot of options for wheelchairs I noticed. Not worth it: *The food *Big daddy falls- we waited FOREVER and it was so mediocre.

Yelp
Water Country USA is massive for a water park. It is definitely the biggest water park I have ever been to. It's clean with pretty decent theming. There is something for everyone here. Speed Slides and a Drop Slide, a fast moving lazy river, a wave pool, a couple of child areas, a water coaster, and a multitude of tube and body slides. I am not the biggest water park guy, but we enjoyed our day here.

Yelp
Can't beat the water park on a hot summer day. To celebrate the end of the school year I brought the family down to Williamsburg. On a slightly cloudy overcast Monday we came to water country USA. Wasn't crowded so we could enjoy the day without worrying about long lines. I spent most of my day lounging by the wave pool. I reserved a cabana. It's 299 for all day and it included 6 food vouchers. They could be redeemed for one entree and one drink. They cabana also came with water,6 chairs, two loungers, and a mini fridge. Comfortable for 6-8 people. It was a fun time for all. My father who needs a wheelchair to get around Alamo came along. It's very difficult for the elderly to maneuver around with all the steep hills. But we all enjoyed the day.

Yelp
It is really fun place and lots of water activities like the lazy River and and the wave pool and plus you can get tons of different foods and drinks and options and the staff are awesome and amazing always happy smiles and friendly and lifeguards are amazing and incredible workers keeping everyone safe and it was my first time coming here with my fiancé and mother in law and I just wish they would add only adults pools and etc that would be great and wonderful to have and plus have areas for kids to go to only and teens and etc plus they need to expand and add more water fun activities for all ages and only adults kids and etc. from Lauren

Yelp
Came here with a few friends and luckily got a deal on fast passes aka quick queue. Highly recommend. We were on and off numerous ride quick and got to do some multiples times. They offer a lot of rides here and some fun ones too. If you do general you may wait an hour plus for a ride but still worth the wait for the overprice I'd say. Shocked they had some slides closed down though for it being the 4th of July weekend making some waits a little longer

Yelp
Overall it is just like any other water park. It is a good park and pretty clean. Food options are plenty full. Parking is actually pretty nice. We have always lucked out with our parking. Our family enjoys a variety of the slides and pools. The bathing suits worn tend to get less and less children friendly. As they can not do too much about that, that we know if. Just remind yourself to be prepared to see a lot.... a lot. At one moment summer 2024 my children watched a man fondle his girl friend and making out in line. They were totally grossed out. Again, not really Water Country's issues. But, at some point this really needs to be tended to. Pricing is high, but to be expected. The lifeguards are great. They seem to be on top of things, especially at the wave pool, which is appreciated. All other employees are great as well. They all have been nice and polite.

Yelp
The employees and overcrowding have ruined this park. It takes over 45 minutes to enter the park due to poor organization. Employees have zero knowledge of the park and offer very little in terms of assistance. It's very clear that it's poorly managed. As for inside, it's incredibly crowded, long waits, dirty, lack of sufficient space. It's not worth the astronomical price you pay to attend. Hit the beach instead!

Yelp
I've only been here twice and love it! I suggest paying the extra for the quick queue pass because it's worth it. Here are my thoughts on a few rides: COLOSSAL CURL Quick Queue available. If you're not a fan of roller coasters, do not like dips, or that g-force feeling, I would not recommend this ride. Accepts either 2 or 4 riders at a time. 3 is not acceptable since it's not well balanced. The raft looks like a fidget spinner. BIG DADDY FALLS Quick Queue available. 1-5 riders per raft. No major dips but lots of waterfalls for you to get soaked under. My top 3 favorite. AQUAZOID AMPED Quick Queue available. Up to 5 riders per raft, as long as the lightest two riders are under 60 inches. I could be wrong, but this is based from memory and reading the signs. Like I mentioned before, I can't do dips but this is okay. It's a fast slide that has tunnels with lights. Not for the light sensitive. You know the ride is almost over when you go through the dark tunnel. Because the tunnels are mainly black, the water is fairly warm here on a sunny day. My top 3 favorite. The line here backs up pretty quickly and there's somewhat of a wait despite having the Quick Queue pass. Do this first before anything. CUTBACK WATER COASTER Quick Queue available. My ultimate favorite. Fits up to four riders with a combined weight of no more than 700 pounds. The lightest in the front, heaviest in the back, and the second heaviest in the second position. Dips aren't bad so if I can handle it, so can you. The water jet propulsion system gets you soaked with cold water. I believe there were about 3 sections of this. MALIBU PIPELINE Quick Queue available. Up to two riders per raft. No major dips. Relaxing fun ride. VANISH POINT I didn't do this one because it's a NO for me. I can't do major dips, and this is nothing but a DIP. RIPTIDE RACE Quick Queue available. One person raft. Four slides altogether to choose from. No major dips. Also fun and relaxing. NITRO-RACER SUPERCHARGED Quick Queue available. Single rider on a mat with 6 lanes available. Looks intimidating but doable for the people that do not like dips. The food was actually delicious for a water park. Chicken tenders, rice bowls, burritos, and cheeseburgers. But be prepared for it is costly.

Yelp
Been trying to reach someone by call and email for days. No one responds. Have issues with my unlimited pass. I was on hold for 1 hour twice. I guess I have to go there to get it straight. Definitely won't be purchasing again.
google avatar

Yelp
Great parking. Easy in and out. Dont worry if there is a little walk. Shortly you will be soaked Plenty of life guards somewhere safety is number one here. But if you think you are coming here and not getting wet think again. This is a place to be a kid again at any age. So put on your blue suede water shoes and dance in the water to the tunes playing through out the park.

Yelp
The entrance to the park is off of 199. Since I have been to a few theme parks, I was sure that this one is no different so I aimed to arrive 30 minutes before park opening to anticipate a line for parking and there was. I was sitting on 199 until they opened those gates and it didn't really feel very safe at all. The traffic stretched further back beyond me. The fees for parking starts at $32 and meals are easily $20 for a few pieces of tenders and fries. I wasn't all too impressed with the prices. Sad part also is that you can't bring your own food and if you can, its due to dietary restrictions. The park has to be contacted first prior to arrival. I certainly had fun in the park, there are few slides that smaller kids can go on and they definitely specialize in those. I was a little bummed with the lazy river only going in a circle with no particular water falls or anything. Rock n Roll Island is more for the younger guests I think, the pool has a ropes course and the kids loved doing that. There's a water slide there too which is convenient. We had fun but I probably wont be making a trip out for this since we're not local.

Yelp
What a fun water park! Fun, wet, wavy, slippery, and did I mention, FUN! Most of the staff are friendly. A special call out to Jason at the security/check-in area and Bradley at the Ticket Checking section. We found most of the park areas clean, inviting and lots of available chairs. One thing this park lacks is sufficient chairs/benches or seating capability in shaded areas. The kid pool/lazy river area is in need of maintenance. Cracked, chipped, concrete around the pool areas. Same found in the lazy river areas. Four weeks ago there was a large mushroom shaped shower item which had lots of cracked concrete and missing/chipped tile sections. This last weekend it was gone and a small section of the pool was roped off. This entire area needs to be closed, drained, and some serious maintenance performed. The Wave Pool is fun and runs on a 10-min wave on / 8-min wave off schedule. It great to sit on a life vest and just bob, bob, bob. During your visit don't forget to check out the 'Hubba Hubba Highway' The longest river highway on the east coast and the water flows around 5-MPH. Fun to just float along the stream, relaxing, and enjoying the sun.

Yelp
We took our family to Water Country hoping for a fun, easy day with the kids, especially since we had our special-needs nephew with us. We bought the All-Day Meal Pass thinking it would make things simple and stress-free. Instead, it turned into one of the most frustrating experiences we've ever had at a theme park. From the start, it was clear the employees had no idea how the meal pass worked. We asked questions and got blank stares or conflicting answers. No one could explain what we were supposed to get, and the scanners barely worked. After our first meal, we rode a few attractions and, over 90 minutes later, tried to grab some fountain drinks. The staff at the counter told us we had already used our drink privileges--even though we hadn't. The scanners constantly failed, and there was zero consistency or organization. What made it worse was watching other guests just grab food without scanning or paying, while those of us who actually paid for the pass were left dealing with broken systems and unhelpful employees. It was chaotic, stressful, and completely unfair. For families--especially those like ours trying to make memories with a special-needs child--this kind of experience is unacceptable. We paid extra for convenience and peace of mind, and instead we got confusion, chaos, and poor customer service. It honestly felt like nobody cared to fix the problem. There was no manager stepping up, no one taking ownership, and no real understanding of how the program should work. When you're spending that much money, the very least you expect is basic competence and good customer service--and Water Country failed completely. We left feeling ripped off, disappointed, and angry. This was supposed to be a special day, but it became stressful and exhausting instead. Until Water Country trains its staff, fixes its scanners, and actually cares about the guests paying for these services, we will not be coming back--and I would warn anyone considering the All-Day Meal Pass to save your money and skip it. Water Country--you need to do better. Families deserve better.

Yelp
5/28/2024 I recognize it is early in the season but the website only lists 2 ride closures. Far from true. The list of rides that are open is far shorter than the list of rides that are closed. The cabanas have no attendant. So anyone can walk back here. And they aren't service oriented. The cabanas no longer give towels. "They haven't for years!" But we got one last year when we rented a cabana--so that is just a load of bull. "Well they must have given you one because you were upset." I didn't get upset last year. I was surprised and pleased. It was the key reason that we got a cabana again. And me being shocked or slightly frustrated is not "Karen" behavior. I don't appreciate the insinuation. We came with a family of six and had three emergency towels. But it won't be a problem since the only options are half of the wave pool and 3-4 slides spread out all over the park. There isn't even a lazy river. BOTH entire areas are closed. I get it. It's a Tuesday early in the season. But update your website. Or post signs before we enter. And if you have a policy change--like no more towels...put it in writing for families to make informed decisions. The park is fine. It is too early to be trashed. The lifeguards did their job in the 4 feet of water that was open. Don't waste your money on the cabana unless it is a holiday or busy weekend. Basically it was a seat and a ceiling fan.

Yelp
Nice park but packed with lots of people the rides were great but the wave pool and any pool were crowded to a level where you can't even walk in. The food was way too overpriced, and lines were extremely long waited 2 hours to go on a small 15 second slide. The slides were great though had so much fun

Bianca G.

Yelp
*check your chicken tenders* I wish I had taken a picture but one of my 3 chicken tenders was raw. Pinkish in the middle and raw batter under the top crust. When I asked for a new one staff was very apologetic and replaced it. I did see the staff member tell the cook and started checked all the tenders in which another was found raw and thrown away. This was at the Catalina Grill. Other than that our water country visit was great! Nice staff, clean bathrooms, fun rides.

Carly W.

Yelp
Everything was amazing the water slides were fun and the lines were not to long my favorite one was big Daddy falls
google avatar

Kaytee C.

Yelp
If you have little ones and need a nice day out of the house I strongly say go on weekdays throughout the summer!! My little one is 2 1/2 and we have a blast when we go to the toddler areas! We usually pack snacks to have that way it doesn't get too pricey getting meals. They do have plenty of meal packages also parents they have great tasty beverages

L C.

Yelp
My family's water country experience was very pleasant. We spent lots of time in the hubba hubba highway, and there were some very kind workers there. Esteban, Keaton, and Zoe were all very nice but responsible lifeguards. I hope to see these amazing staff on my next visit!!

Brooke T.

Yelp
day was great. Not one waterslide was terrible. But one experience was. On Cutback Water Coaster, we waited about 1 hour and a half. The line itself was not long, But they only had 3 tubes between two lines and a fast pass line. Not to mention the worker at The bottom of the slide was slow getting the tubes up the conveyor belt. Also when you are in the slide watch out for the jets blasting you in the back of your head. It's hurts. I recommend not waiting for this ride. The review has less stars than the number of tubes.

Yelp
If possible, getting a Platinum Membership makes both BGW and Water Country USA better -- and after seeing how the Platinum membership discounts made key WCUSA upgrades affordable, it really made our water park experience great. For starters, get to the park before it opens and go to the ticket & guest service window -- the kiosk cannot do all the options. We were helped by Cora who was so welcoming and a great communicator -- she let us know choices and her recommendations. We went with two lounger chairs near the wave pool and an extra access band for a 12yo and 3 quick queue pluses. The price for these as well as an AD Military ticket was much lower in person than online! While this may not always be the case pending season changes, it's well worth checking. Even if you're not a Platinum Pass holder and don't plan to get upgrades, it's still worth getting to the park for 'rope drop' -- we went straight to the Cutback Water Coaster, did NOT use our 1x QQ, & basically walked on. We should have jumped right back in line since it really is one of the park's best rides in our opinions. The Plus unlimited QQs are nice -- getting Aquazoid Amped was $$$ since later in the day the line was around 2 hours long. I did not see folks abusing the QQs despite perceptions with folks who had cards instead of wristbands. The 1x QQs made us concerned when we realized the Colossal Curl attendant pulled the Cutback tab off of two of our bands. On our way to the Lazy River I spotted a group of supervisors & asked if this would be an issue for us to ride Cutback later -- Joey, a personable and capable problem-solver gave us multiple options to ensure we would not miss out due to the CC attendant's mistake. Joey seems like executive management material! At the end of our day, we got on Wild Thang because it became one of our favorites. The attendant, Casey, was one of the most fun attendants in the park! Never losing her attention to safety, she increased the joy of the ride with her great personality and even recommended we ride a third time so we could get all the combos. If she doesn't already, Casey should train other attendants! Additional tip: if it's a very hot day, it would likely be worthwhile to get one of the refillable cups to get ice water or $2 iced sodas -- but I hope the staff crack down on folks trying to fill their personal water bottles that way. One man held up the burrito line for at least 2 min filling a gallon-sized personal mug with lemonade. Accountability makes the world a better place IMO. We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Water Country USA & I hope you will as well!

Yelp
Water Country USA is a fantastic water park with thrilling slides, lazy rivers, and fun for all ages. Clean, friendly, and perfect for a day of family adventure.

Yelp
I waited in a line for almost 2 hours for a ride i've been wanting to do my whole life. i get to the top and the lifeguard is saying we have to take off all our jewelry so i do, only thing i don't take off cause i can't take off it's my bangle which had been on my wrist since i was very small and can't take it off. It's a culture thing a passed down thing. So the lady in a very rude way tells me that well i can't go in if i don't take it off, and i explain why i can't take it off and show that even if i wanted i can't even take if of. She proceeds to say she's not gonna let me in the ride with that on. i had to walk my ass right back down the stairs i've been waiting in for hours in the sun.I'm still really upset about this. I'm never coming back to this place. Super rude teenagers all around. Do no come here if your looking to have a good time.

Cameron L.

Yelp
Park was clean, plenty of lifeguards, most of the rides were open, and food was fresh. 3 rides were closed: Auquazoid, Wild Thang, and the racing ride

Mimi B.

Yelp
Had a great time with my family ( of 3) we purchased any day tickets where you pay a set price for entry to the park on any day . Due to the rain we've been getting this was a better option which still didn't cost much more than regular entry tickets. Along with our any day ticket purchases we also purchased ONE all day dining pass where you can eat every 90 mins and as a family of 3 we split the portions evenly each time . Well worth it for the price offered as we ate 3 times for the price of ONE . We also purchased an all day locker for $25 because who wants to walk around with wet clothes and baggage . As for the park we experienced easy entry , cashless , low crowd for a Monday , safe and secure environment, great dining options , well behaved children & ADULTS and fun staff . We enjoyed the splashes from the staff as we waited in line and started to dry off , much appreciated and a great way to engage with park guests . We will definitely be back with more family & friends

Yelp
I went on opening day this year worried about the cold water and possible crowds but I was pleasantly surprised by both. Only 1 or 2 rides have heated water but we were moving the whole day so we dried off quickly and never got too cold. Because it's before Memorial Day, we also had very minimal lines. We were able to zip through all the open rides at least once in 2 hours. My favorite rides: -Aquazoid- although it's not a scary ride, it's a surprising ride because of all the lines on the insides of the tubes and the music accompanying the lights. It was a delightful surprise! -Colossal Curl- wow I can't believe I was on a 90 degree vertical angle! DO NOT let go of the handles or you'll fall right off. This ride is definitely better with 4 people than 2 because you go higher on the 90 degree angle. My heart was racing! -Vanish Point- if you want to go on a slide that has a straight vertical 90 degree angle, this is for you! It was almost too scary for me.

Yelp
My group of friends, kids and I were invited to come back to Water Country after having a really bad experience last year. Needless to say this makeup visit was worth it. Now while I won't go into the particulars of what occurred last year, the GM ML has corrected most of those issues and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We upgraded our tickets to get the Quick Queue passes so we can enjoy the full day at the park. Most of the time amusement park food is blah, but Water Country food options were delish! The turkey legs are seasoned well & the build-your-own nacho bowl is very similar to Chipotle. Funnel cake always a fave. The ladies and I enjoyed the lazy river the most while the boys & men of the group enjoyed the fast-paced, high up water rides. My absolute favorite ride is the Colossal Curl, your life will flash before eyes. It was the hottest weekend in July for us to go but it was well worth it.

Yelp
My review for Water Country USA mimics many tips that I have for Busch Gardens with some differences. I would recommend getting to the park for 9:30am to get through parking, ticketing, and security. Once 10am reaches they officially let you walk through the park and it's very easy to get through many rides with less than 15 min wait when arriving early so no need for a quick queue pass. After doing rides you can easily enjoy time on the Lazy River, the Hubba Hubba Highway, or the wave pool, while everyone else is waiting in very long hour wait lines. I also recommend the all day dining. We do this every time and it is always worth it. The all day dining was $45.99 per adult, which I believe rounds up to $50 after tax. I recommend if you are planning on using an all day locker to get the lockers in front of Jet Scream. These lockers are more central in the park so it is easier to walk to and from them if you need something versus the other locker locations which puts you at the very front of the park or the back.

Yelp
Really good experience a lot to see and do. Kind of wild getting around as there is so many slides and things. Definitely recommended the water pros bags for your phones

Yelp

Yelp
We had a two day pass for Busch gardens and water country. We came here early Saturday morning and planned a half day. so thankful we did. It was such a hot day but because we got there early we could hit all the rides without a wait. Once noon hit it's like everyone had the idea to go to the park and it became really busy. By two the lines for food options were insanely long. We opted to eat outside the park than inside. Our five year old loved the rides. We were able to take him on a few rides we wanted to go on without issue since he was tall enough. He especially loved the kids splash area. They had three areas he found fun and each were geared for different age groups. I could see us coming back but it would be during a week day so we could spend the whole day and not worry about the crazy weekend crowds

Brandy B.

Yelp
Great family fun. We all enjoyed it! This was the first time going with my kids and they had a blast. Awesome set up, good hours, good crowd

Yelp
It's been years since I've been to Water Country. Yesterday reminded me why it's been so long. My biggest complaint is regarding the parking. After digging deep to find the patience from folks "cutting" into the line of traffic, I finally made my way to the booth to pay my $30 for basic parking. As I arrived at the booth, I let the young lady know that I was looking to get to handicap parking. She informed me to turn on my flashers and continue to drive forward and someone would direct me. There was no one out to direct and I ended up back out on the main road! Round two, I pulled up and let the same young lady know what had happened. After she spoke with her co worker, I was now instructed to "follow the white dots on the road. This time there were employees along the route and I asked one of them where handicap parking was. In a European accent I was told "ask my friend up there, he will tell you". At that point I had had enough and pulled into what turned out to be VIP parking. I then asked an employee who was in that lot on a golf cart and he told me I had to go back out and go further down to the next lot. Again, I'd had enough! I let him know that I had handicapped plates on my car and that my car was going to stay there at the spot I had found. I was there to meet up with friends and it took me about 90 minutes to get a place to park! Training is a MUST!!! When folks are paying the prices required to park and enter (and eat/drink), things should be done right. Yesterday was a mess!!!

Yelp
Purchased 2 day passes to take my family of 6 on a Friday and Saturday. We then purchased the all-day meals. Complete waste of money. Choices and places are limited, and they do not include a bottle of water. We purchased the quick queue passes for Friday, and in the afternoon, we witnessed several rides of families cutting into the quick queue lines, and they were not questioned and permitted. They also made the quick queue lines wait, and they would not let my family stay together on any ride. Then we purchased a cabana on Saturday just to watch families and groups constantly walk in and take chairs or make themselves at home. Paying 600 for a cabana just to feel that they are not a safe place was not worth it. We should not have to police the area all day for $600 Bathrooms smelled of urine, food was not worth the price, and everything was way overpriced for what you received.

Yelp
Now this a perfect place in July with 99 degrees humid weather with a party if 10(3 adults & 7 kids) I'm glad we rented a private cabana with ceiling fans, with a fully stocked refrigerator with cold "smart water" & a large bag of snacks! Plus part of the package was 10 custom towels! Nice touch The water fun almost seemed limitless for the kids! We had an all-day food pass that we wished we had fully used! My only concern in a public water place like this how they kept the water clean and hygienic! But there were signs all over the place warning people with certain ailments and gastrointestinal issues to not use this place! The food choices were limited and almost every place had the same stuff under a different name! The food was overpriced and not the best! Just you basic hotdogs, hamburger & chips. They had a place for Mexican as well which was definitely below average. However, as expected they had lots of ice cream & cold drink choices! I'm glad we came here and hope to come back again! Thanks for the memories!!

Yelp
Other than the water being cold (common place for water parks so no biggie), the kids had a great time here. A few rides were closed but we heard they're all open on the weekends. The concession lines get long at times.

Yelp
3/5 for my recent experience. I'm sure others would rank this higher. The actual park was nice... the trees were plentiful and provided some shade when in certain lines. The new water coaster was tons of fun!!! The setback was when we were at the very top... maybe three families before our then, someone got "stuck". Not sure where or how, but we ended up waiting like half an hour for them to assess the situation, "un-stuck" the riders lol and get the water and ride going again. The family tube ride was pretty fun and definitely had some good "drenching" spots. We rented a locker and had issues with opening it- we weren't the only ones having problems. On our way out, there was a group of people who started arguing verbally which caused a scene and made it uncomfortable for people passing by. We only spent half a day here but all in all I give it a 3/5

Yelp
We loved this place. Bought a 2 day pass to water county and bush gardens which saved us money to attend either park or both. We visited towards the end of August so keep in mind southern school are back in session whereas us northerners still have until after Labor Day. Therefore.... the perfect time to visit. As I had never been before I was nervous as to what the pArking and lines would be but we arrived close to 1 hr after opening on the last Thursday of August. The parking lot was empty and we parked and walked right in. Paid for a locker at the front so sadly didn't catch any pictures. We loved the spread of the park and enjoyed all the rides as we had several ranging from 56" to adult. The lines this time of year were moving and even when we felt we had been waiting too long people commented that the 20 min was the quickest they had ever had to wait. We tried every single activity the park provided but the one we didn't love is Vanish Point. Basically it is a drop tube or close to a 90° slide drop. After waiting in line for this and talking to many other people at the park who are locals and frequent often they all agreed it's the worst ride there. Our opinion and those we spoke with. You are dropping so fast that essentially it's just water in your face, in your eyes and your mouth and then it's over. Nothing enjoyable. Sidenote there are lockers throughout where you can leave your stuff for the day. Once we checked in we didn't get anything out of our locker until leaving. Water fountains throughout so no issues if we were thirsty. Bathrooms were actually very clean for a waterpark. Typically when everyone is wet there's lots of toilet paper and puddles everywhere. Didn't see that here. If you like water activities and water parks would highly recommend. Also we ended the day there with a relaxing river tube on rambling river and Hubba Haba Highway where you can just float along wearing a life vest or holding on to it as a floaty. Extremely relaxing.

Yelp
It has been 20 Years since I visited Water Country. This time was with my family. The crowds weren't too bad during the 4th of July weekend. The tickets we bought as part of the package were very reasonable. We opted for the quick que unlimited which was nice for the kiddos who at 5 and 8 loved all the slides. Their is a weight limit on some of the slides in which I'm boarder line over. I wiped out after loosing control on the single tube slide and learned a lesson with physics and respecting the limits. The crowds were not too rough and the vibes were pleasant. The chipotle like food options hit the spot and the dippin dots were at a good price point for the amount you get. We will be back next year for sure. If you are visiting Williamsburg, VA during the summer time, Water Country is a must!!

Yelp
For two fifty-somethings with no kiddos this beautiful and well designed park was a trip back to bygone summers living on chlorine and sunshine. There are water pools and slides to suit every aquatic taste; for us that meant taking easy floats and rambles with a slice of wave crashing for a very enjoyable time. The park on most summer days will be super-packed so arrive early, plan where you'll go and as the old adage goes -- apply sunscreen. Prepare to walk. Prepare to stare at the many Water Country maps to figure out where in the heck you are. A star is deleted simply based on lousy food offering especially should you purchase one of those all day dining schemes. Otherwise: It's all chlorine and sunshine. (And amazing none of the stench or burn of chlorine!!!)

Yelp
Great place lots of slide and a few different chill and hand out spots. A bit over crowded at slides making wait times way too long at times but it's enjoyable overall.

Yelp
AMAZING!!! We have been to water country and Busch Gardens Williamsburg countless times and we will STILL come back!! Amazing water park with lots of good rides. Big Daddy Falls and Colossal Curl are must hit rides if coming here. Overall amazing experience and a 5/5 everytime.

Yelp
Fun rides. Kind staff. My issue is that quite a few people go in the quick queue line and then hop back into the main line, effectively increasing the average wait time. I tried to tell the life guards but they were diligently doing their jobs of making sure people are safe, so it feels unfair to expect them to take care of this pattern happening across the park, throughout my time on the rides. The only person who seemed to care and want to make a difference was Casey, a really great communicator who articulated an instance on a ride where it was occurring and a way it could be prevented. I was really impressed by him. Granted, Water Country may not see this park experience as a quality issue reflected in their profit margins but park goers who bought the single entry that ensures a second visit probably won't go again.

Yelp
My name is Javi and my mommy let me makes today's review This Water park was so good! There was a long wait but the new rise called Cutback was the best! The Colossus ride was tall and scary people were screaming this is the best water park ever . Mommy Review: There is a PHENOMENAL DEAL for a 2 park fun summer pass online! Offer expires on July 4th! Normal park enter range for a 1 day pass to one park is 61.99 plus tax. The online deal all's you access to both Water Country USA and Bush Gardens until September 8th!!! That is an awesome deal. . Parking for general admission was steep! a whopping $17 and $25 for preferred. If you are a member it is $8. The park was fun and although we did a lot of walking. Please make sure to wear comfy shoes and double up on the sunscreen. I reccomend this water park for a wacky date or family fun! Please go EARLY. They open at 9 am

Yelp
I personally only spent a half day at this place but my teens spent open to close. The only disappointment to me as the parent that spent more time just walking around then riding the slides is that there were not any misters or cooling areas. The kids rode every ride sometimes 3-5 times. The lines were lines but not terrible. The staff and guards were nice, the food was good, fruit was fresh. We'll come back.

Yelp
Water Country is always amazing! My family likes to come here every other year! It has all the water rides that you can imagine! My children had an absolute ball! We arrived at the park as soon as it opened. (10am) We actually closed the park too! BIG fun!! We ate at BoardWalk Grill and the food was beyond tasty. My entire family enjoyed our meals. We shall return!

Yelp
This park is awesome for standing inline. If experiencing an outdated water park with extremely slow rider turnaround will make your summer, then this is the park for you!

Yelp
This is my family's second time going to Water Country USA and we had so much fun! The lines were a bit long because we went during July 4th weekend, but we had our Quick Queue Unlimited wristbands which allowed us to skip majority of the long lines. There were lifeguards stationed in each ride as well which made us feel very safe the whole duration of the visit. My family's favorite ride was Hubba Hubba Highway! Definitely recommend this ride for people of all ages. We had a blast!
