Chef and service are great. We love the combinations and the taste very much. Even after twice visits it is always a nice experience and it won't be the last visit. The choc blocks are yummy yummy... Do not ask how man calories and sugar are inside... Just enjoy this sweet piece of heaven.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Waterbiscuit Restaurant at the InterContinental Hotel in Malta, and overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was of high quality, beautifully presented, and flavorful. I highly recommend the beef cheeks—they were tender, rich, and cooked to perfection. The rib eye steak was also excellent, cooked exactly to my liking with a great char and juicy interior. One interesting aspect was the beef tartare, which was presented in a make-it-yourself style. The ingredients were served on the side, and we had to mix everything together ourselves. It was a fun and interactive way to enjoy the dish, though it might not be for everyone. The service was attentive and professional, making us feel well taken care of throughout the evening. I also tried the French Brest for dessert, but I found it to be a bit too sweet for my taste. The only minor downside was the portion sizes; I found the main courses to be slightly on the small side, especially considering the price. I was expecting a bit more heft for the cost, but the overall quality of the food and the lovely ambiance made up for it. Would definitely recommend for a special night out in Malta!

We had a fabulous group dinner! One of my friend's birthday. The Braised Veal I had was delicious, the plating was well presented! Jessa kept us entertained, she's funny and knowledgeable! She had some excellent insights about Malta. Highly recommend for group dining. I can imagine a romantic dinner will be lovely here as well. Gorgeous atmosphere right in the heart of St. Julian. Thanks so much !

Pretty much ate here the entire time I was in Malta. The service was great, very friendly waiters and bartenders. The food and drinks quality are awesome and consistent. The prices are reasonable and affordable for the quality. Definitely recommend and will be back if I’m in Malta. The food quality was better than some 5Star restaurants that I’ve been to. I mean you can never go wrong with French inspired restaurants

Hotel restaurant and bar at the Intercontinental St Julian’s. Bar downstairs and restaurant upstairs. Had drinks here a few times in the bar - service is good; they sell Cisk and have a full range of spirits. Atmosphere a bit flat and quiet; probably more lively in summer. TVs on wall show football. There is also a framed golf club. Not sure why. Bar also serves food. Had burgers here late one evening. Very tasty food; freshly prepared. Full choice of mini sauces on offer. Rewarding. Restaurant upstairs offers fine dining and more casual options. The food here was first class and I’d definitely go again. Several excellent options - had beef tartare to start followed by pasta with lamb. The latter was so hearty and rich I had no room for pud 😆 Wanted to come back for the veal cheeks but couldn’t find time. 🥲 Good choice if you’re staying at the hotel; charge to your room. Outsiders also welcome though. A firm two paws up.

The food is bland. I visited the place twice ordering salmon as well as chicken. Both of the meats were well cooked but severely under seasoned. The food is uninspiring with plain flavourless meat with minimal sides. The ravioli tastes horrible and lacks sauce. We went with multiple people and everyone agreed. It is severely overpriced.

Food was okay (served at room temp) Octopus was like leather unfortunately although when when did inform the staff the gave my wife a free cocktail that was incredible twist on a espresso martini Restaurant felt like it was situated in a reception area of a hotel or office building Felt a bit lost… Although it was quiet we waited a while for the bill and had to ask a second member of staff for it.

Very slow service. The food is very average. They don't have that much choice and the taste is not that good. However, dishes are beautifully presented. I would recommend walking outside and eating in a different and better place.
