Waterbury Aquarium

One of my absolute favorite aquarium stores. The staff are always so nice and helpful with questions. The care for the fish in store is very good aswell, Ive littetly never seen a single dead fish or even plant here. The prices are very fair aswell, coudlent think if a complaint if I tried.

Amazing store wide variety of fish, shrimp ,plants, filters, tanks, and much more! Very knowledgeable staff. Answered every question I had and gave me some other suggestions for a desktop shrimp aquarium I’m working on. they have salt water and freshwater fish and indoor and outdoor. Perfect for any of your needs. Will definitely be coming back

Great store for aquascaping. Good selection of rocks and driftwood. Amazing and diverse selection of freshwater plants. Helpful and knowledgeable employees. Wide variety of freshwater fish.

I bought a few guppies here. Some of the guppies I received were in extremely poor health. There fins were torn from body to end. I received them sick. I keep my tank cycled and fo normal water changes,but there health doesn't seem to improve. This has led me to believe they get there stock of fish from untrustworthy sources who probably do way too much inbreeding. One of the guppies had stunted growth, jeez I wonder why. I even asked some of the employees some basic questions about fish,and they just tell me I don't know. They have a bunch of inexperienced people working there that have absolutely no idea of the basic handling of fish. I wish I could give this 0 stars. I would find a better store with a better source of fish.

Have been here several times and got great service from some very friendly people, however the last several times we’ve been in there’s a blonde lady working who is very rude. We waited 15 minutes for assistance to grab fish while she had a meaningless conversation and then rudely remarked she’d be right over once we asked for help and never came over. We’ve gotten great products, great fish, and good help from other people, but the repeated rude attitude from this one employee has it so we won’t be coming back.

The staff here is super helpful and they only offer high quality fish, plants, and accessories. When filling my new 10 gallon tank they gave excellent advice as to which types of fish to get, what size is best, and which ones work well together in order to maximize my tank's potential.

By far one of the best kept, clean, and well stocked establishments I have been to. The younger woman working there was more than kind to help add live plants, glass rocks and fish to my existing tank. The staff definitely know what they are doing and are patient with unsure customers. I will definitely go out of my way to come here again for all of my aquarium needs!!

Great selection, very helpful staff A bit cluttered but that's where the great selection and helpful staff come into play. We had no trouble finding what we came for Staff knowledgeable answering every question. Pretty outdoor fish ponds and interesting flowers.
