The hotel was clean, quiet, well located, had a good bar and excellent restaurant. The menu was a little short if youre stsying more than a few days but what I had was great.||I wish they'd get the lift company back to swap the buttons. Surely having 0, 1, M, 2 isnt impossible rather than having 0, 1, 2 ,3 which the second floor being on 3!!

Our experience at this hotel was incredible. Staff were so kind and helpful with every single thing, rooms were so comfortable and clean and the food was incredible for very decent prices. Also the views from the restaurant are beautiful. I would come back anytime!

In general, this was a good hotel and the stay went well. The staff seemed generally competent though it took a while for anyone to notice us waiting to get seated in the restaurant, despite booking. The food was ok and the view from the front of the hotel/dining room/bar is nice and it is good to sit. The bedrooms were pleasant although one of the bathrooms had an odd smell reminiscent of cat urine when we arrived.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|Had a wonderful stay at The Waterfront Hotel in Dungloe. It’s in a fantastic location, with beautiful views, affordable rates, and such a welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. A perfect base for exploring the area – highly recommended!

A superb hotel . Lovely rooms ,good food with great service. Very nice breakfast. I have stayed in many hotels in Donegal and beyond but this is up there with the best . Not a star and stuffy but 4 star laid back and most importantly all the staff were happy . Says alot about the management. Would recommend it for all ages and families .

Booked Sunday lunch x 5. Seated straight away sat 15 minutes before order taken had to ask could we order drinks. Sat another 15 minutes before I had to proceed to bar to ask where were the drinks. Food finally arrived was nice but service very poor. Plenty of staff but spent most of their time walking around clueless.

I was a little early getting to the hotel and I asked the one receptionist about when I could check in. She said 3 o’clock bluntly, offering no more information. At 2:30 I noticed other people were checking in so I went to the other receptionist she started to check me in, when I booked there were no rooms with views available. I asked about a room with a view of course I had to pay more for that which was fine. The receptionist was very impatient. I asked to see the room. She went running down the hallway as if I was to keep up. I said I had a sore leg, but that didn’t slow her down. She still had to wait for me to catch up. She showed me a room at the back with the view of the garden. I asked again about a room with a sea view. She hurriedly showed me a room with the sea view, which I accepted. Back at the reception desk she seemed scattered trying to change my rooms. I said I don’t like a duvet I’d like three sheets as they don’t have blankets. She was confused. She phoned housekeeping and said the gentleman would like another sheet!!! I gave up talking to her and had to find housekeeping and talk to them myself, they helped me immediately with no problem. The hotel is on a hill overlooking a beautiful bay, and I had a nice view of that. for some reason, my hotel room was unbearably warm so I had a terrible sleep. The restaurant was nice and they had a good breakfast included.
