I wish I could give this place zero stars. We booked through Booking.com and were notified that our check-in time was changed to 10 a.m., which we took at face value. Upon arrival, not only were we not greeted promptly, but when the staff member did appear, he was incredibly rude and dismissive.
We tried to clarify the check-in details, but he cut us off mid-sentence and insisted the early check-in was only for luggage drop-off, something never explained in the message we received. He refused to even look at the booking confirmation we tried to show him.
As someone with extensive experience in hospitality, I found his behavior absolutely unacceptable and the opposite of welcoming. On top of that, the reception area reeked of smoke and felt outdated and unpleasant. Given that we paid $600 for two nights and two rooms, this was a total waste. We didn’t feel safe or respected and promptly found another place to stay.
In summary, if you value basic courtesy or a smoke-free and welcoming environment, avoid this place at all costs. This was hands-down the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
