Watergarden Inn at the Bay

With no hesitation at all my wife and I would give Watergarden Inn FIVE STARS. Location is excellent. Free parking. Service is outstanding. Cleanliness is 10/10. My wife and I came here for four nights and we totally loved it. Julie and Pete (Innkeepers) are great hosts, very friendly and helpful. We had great conversations with them. Our room was very good and spacious. It was cleaned everyday in an excellent way (thanks to Jennifer). This is a great B&B. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to come again.

My husband and I stayed here just one night as a little get away, away from the kids for our anniversary. I wish we could have stayed longer! It was so relaxing and felt like a home away from home. Pete and Julie greeted us at the door when we arrived to check in, showed us around the house and then let us enjoy a quiet stay while still being available if needed. We stayed in the Lighthouse suite which was perfect! Quiet, romantic and relaxing. Breafast was very enjoyable with a good selection of foods. The location could not be better. In the heart of downtown surrounded by plenty of amazing restaurants and fun activities to do, but at the same time you have a feeling of quiet seclusion. I already told my husband we should make this our yearly anniversary tradition. We will return to this B&B for sure.

My husband and I recently got married in St. Pete in October. We wanted to stay at a place that felt a little like home away from home. We wanted our wedding party and our closest family to stay at the inn with us. We rented out the whole inn and Wilder and Bill worked out an amazing deal for us for our wedding weekend. Not only were they on top of every email, every phone call, and every little question you could possibly have, they were so kind too! All of our guests absolutely adored the inn and this beautiful couple as well. The breakfast was delicious. The hospitality was unbelievably wonderful. Not to mention, the inn is absolutely adorable! It made for wonderful pictures for our big day. We are so grateful for this couple and all they did to work with us. We love this place! We will definitely be back! Thanks Wilder and Bill. Greg and I appreciate you so much!

A nice B&B if you are looking for a great location near downtown St Petersburg and the Pier. The staff was very welcoming and glad to help with questions. We stayed in the Pelican Room and it's located on the main floor near the kitchen area. The pool and green space area are nice for unwinding. The room itself had a nice shower but not really much of a view. I would highly recommend this property for a nice getaway.

My wife and I stayed for a wedding, which as we all know can lead to a few late nights! Fortunately, our hosts Crissy and Anthony were more than accommodating, even when we couldn't find our key in the wee hours of the morning. The rooms were kept immaculately clean and the bed was super comfortable. The Inn is right downtown and within walking distance to all the fun spots. Crissy and Anthony were very helpful with recommendations for places to visit and helping us with luggage. I would definitely stay at Watergarden Inn again and I can't say enough great things about Crissy and Anthony.

Great little place. Its right near the fine arts museum, Dali museum, Sundial, and many eateries and bars. The property is very nice and is over 100 years old. So yeah its creaky. Its two large houses connected and doesn't feel nice. The lady that runs it is super nice and helpful. Room was a bit small and the bed was kinda hard. But the location and charm make up for that. I really felt at home there and will def go back sometime.

I loved Watergarden Inn! It feels like staying at a home. The Egret room has a comfortable bed and a window seat overlooking the street. I was able to walk to museums, great restaurants and the new pier, plus there's a free trolley stop one block away. After a nice, hot breakfast, I used one of the inn's bikes to tour the Old Northeast neighborhood and coffee pot area, then enjoyed the neat, clean pool. A photo album in the living room showed how some nice weddings and showers had taken place . They staggered the breakfast to support social distancing and offered hand sanitizers throughout the inn. I hardly knew anyone else was staying there. The only suggestion would be an air freshener in the hall and room because it did have a slight musty smell, which is typical is these older homes in the humid Florida weather. I'll be back next year!

Wonderful place to stay. We stayed on the top floor and the room was amazing. Large room with a huge whirlpool tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. The innkeepers are very friendly and willing to give advice on what to do in the area. The pool was very cool, only disappointed we came after the weather had turned colder and couldn't enjoy it. Would recommend anyone stay here.
