Prefect location in Anna Maria Island. Spacious family villa on Marina with restaurant on site. Short walk to beach and many restaurants, shops. Beach walk is great if not taking any cooler or chairs. Otherwise 2 min drive parking easy to find. Best way to get around is golf cart easy access all around.

Claudia helped us get our rooms situated amazing hospitality. Rooms were clean and spotless as well . The hotel is very Spacious and Comfy. Definitely would come back to that hotel one day for a longer stay! The restaurant and the atmosphere near the area is safe and family friendly

The stay at this hotel is amazing! the rooms are beautiful and everything went above and beyond! The view of of the water was also amazing to wake up to! Not to mention Claudia at the front desk was a major help! Would definitely come here again! I will recommend this lovely place for family's coming in to town and want to feel like home.

Girls trip! The units are great. Well appointed. Great location within walking distance to the beach and shops. We went food shopping and bought our own libations and enjoyed ourselves. There is a room with two queens and a bathroom, and a room with a king and bathroom, and laundry! The kitchen has everything you need. ||We rented beach chairs from Beach Bums, which were delivered free of charge, locked up on the bike rack, where we returned them after our stay to be picked up. ||There is also a dolphin cruise/sunset cruise offered right out back. ||A great place to stay.

Stayed here for a sister weekend. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath room suite and it was awesome! Great location, Tyler at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant drinks were great. Definitely will be coming back.

Google
Great hotel and marina experience was great as well. Would come back again. No early check in during our visit but to be expected at a smaller hotel. Pool wasn’t at 10/10 but it was still swimmable..

Atmosphere was excellent here, we had an amazing Father’s Day weekend. Yadrian provided excellent service to us and made sure our stay was top of the line, so thank you to him. Will definitely return soon.

Yelp
Amazing and beautiful restaurant by Marriott. For birthday, my wife surprised me by booking a stay in the Waterline Villas & Marina. She booked the stay through her Marriott account and being a regular customer she was upgraded to the suite. Since this was our first time at Waterline Villas & Marina we were surprised by the suites they offered to us. The suite consisted of 2 bedrooms with attached bathroom, living room and kitchen. It seemed like a house which was clean and had all the necessary and required equipments including washer and dryer. The view from our site was beautiful and it was beautiful and stunning. They also have their own restaurant which from the reviews seemed delicious and well priced. Although we couldn't have food from restaurant this time but we will be back definitely for more days of stay.

Yelp
The rooms here are absolutely amazing! Cole, Keith and Fred saved our evening and found us an amazing room here! We had a terrible start to our day with our accommodations falling through and they found a way to let us stay and suggested some Really fun local places for us to hangout as well! They saved our staycation and we cannot wait to come back!

Yelp
Everything was beyond amazing! We were a few minutes late to our reservation due to the events that occurred prior in the day. The food and drinks are worth the trip of such a great ambiance, with excellent quality. The customer service was beyond amazing from Kole, hostess stand, our waiter, Keith, and Fred. Words cannot describe our gratitude of everyone involved went above and beyond for us. We told our waiter our situation about how we were homeless for the weekend, and he did everything he could to help us with accommodations. We truly enjoy our time in the restaurant and stay at the resort.

Yelp
Let me start by saying that I never leave reviews unless something is extremely favorable or a HORRIBLE experience. This one falls squarely into the latter and was the worst hotel experience of my life that includes Motel 6s in the 70s. I will start by saying that for $350 per night, the experience should be nothing less than 5 stars. I would not even give 1 star to this place but had to to write this review. When I arrived, there was no one at the desk and it took 15 min for someone to get there. After checking in, my first 2 keys did not work and i finally got in to room on 3rd trip up. I immediately noticed that the TV did not work and walked back down (they never answered phone) and even though the guy was rude about it, he told me he would get fixed. When I got home that night, the TV still didn't work and no one was at desk or answer phone. The next morning, the coffee make didn't work and at that point I was done and went down to check out. No one at desk again so I waited about 10 min so I could get a copy of my bill and let them know of my terrible experience. The guy at the desk could care no less about my bad experience and took no initiative to try to resolve anything. In addition, the printer was not working so I could not get me receipt and he promised to email it to me. Needless to say, I never got email and there was no record of my stay on Marriott.com. The only thing they did correctly was to bill my credit card. Since then I have tried calling resort at least 8 times and no one ever answered their phone. Finally, I called Marriott directly and let them know but am unable to review on their site as there is no record of me staying there or reward points given. AVOID THIS RESORT AT ALL COSTS! It is not worth $100 per night much less $350!

Yelp
This hotel is the best hotel I have ever stayed at. Although it is really pricey, it is worth it. You can get a lounge room, which has 2 queens, 1 king and a sofa bed with a fully stocked kitchen and living room with 2 bathrooms (Both have a shower). Or a marina room (I have no idea what is inside a marina room). There is no free breakfast lounge but that is ok because you can order breakfast from The Chateau Anna Maria restaurant which is located in the lobby next to the front desk. Overall, I think that this is a good hotel experience even though a lodge is about $800 a night. Recommended by me!

Yelp
I was skeptical at first since I had not heard much about this specific hotel but I was impressed upon arrival from the layout, cleanliness and amenities offered. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite-which I believe is the only option at this hotel. The suite is large enough to accommodate 6 people plus another on a pull out bed if absolutely necessary. Entire suite was clean with a complete kitchen that has dishes for us to use at our disposal. Nice and cozy patio were you can sit outside and catch some fresh beach like breeze. Another great point is that this hotel is walking distance from the beach with access right down the street! We were at the beach everyday. Grab your gear and expect a 7-10 min walk. We will certainly be returning here!

Yelp
Fantastic new place. Friendliest staff I have ever experienced at a hotel. Rooms are all two bedroom suites with a great little kitchen setup with refrigerator, and coffee maker. Restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Fresh ingredients with a great chef, you won't be disappointed. Great area to keep you boat as the hotel marina has plenty of room on the docks and also rents boat lifts. Look forward to coming back!

Yelp
This hotel is brand new which made our stay that much more enjoyable. From the first welcome by Riley to the final goodbye from Riley, we felt as if we had become Family. She recommended great places on the island to check out and also offered to help us get there. Our room was upgraded to a top floor suite since my husband is a Marriott Gold member. Can I just say WOW! The room was decorated top-notch and the beds were extremely comfortable. The shower had a rain shower head and the kitchen was fully stocked to make cooking meals in easy. We loved the Smart TV complete with Netflix and Hulu. Our only complaint was the breakfast that was supposed to be included with our rate was not yet offered. They had a limited Continental breakfast that was mediocre, but Riley gave us Marriott points to offset this inconvenience. We were satisfied. The hotel is conveniently located on the island within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

Yelp
The grounds and the rooms of this hotel are beautiful...but the service leaves something to be desired. I had to resort to contacting the General Manager. She made things right and the rest of our stay the hotel was eager to try to amend our experience. The hotel hosts a lot of weddings and social events. The ballroom is situated in the main building and in many of the rooms you will not be able to avoid the loud music and shouting until late at night. Be sure to call the hotel if noise is an issue for you. The rooms themselves are perfect and well appointed. The kitchen is stocked with all your basic kitchen tools plus salt and pepper. The furniture is clean and comfortable. You have plenty of room to relax in.

Yelp
We are having our wedding here next month and the whole staff has been so accommodating. I love that the venue is small and intimate. Small details, like the sea life inspired decor, at display, and even ballroom name reflect the history of Anna Maria Island. Thanks to Taylor who gave us an impromptu tour this past weekend and to Grant who has been taking car of the details for our upcoming wedding. Can't wait to try the food!

Yelp
Our room was a very nice huge condo. The place was stylish and clean with large kitchen and living room. We faced the road and it was very quiet and still had a little water view with boats out front. The rental bikes were nice & the staff was great. I loved the restaurant, too!

Yelp
We booked a week stay at this motel. We never made it to the room. There is nothing endearing about this place, the location, the exterior spaces and certainly not the price. While we were in the cue to check in before 4...we just get over how this place felt like any motel along 41. Mind you the interior of the lobby and the restaurant were fine but if you are looking for a memorable place to spend a week...this is just not it (IMO). We cancelled, lost out on one night($500) and booked a VRBO with a private pool and three bedrooms for 30% less. If you like an undersized pool built for 20 at a motel that can accommodate significantly more people than the pool can fit then you'll be fine. For some this would be fine, for us...it wasn't.

Yelp
Wow!!! What a wonderful hotel, both accommodations and staff. Giselle at the front desk was EXCELLENT. If I owned a hotel, I'd definitely want her there. She made us feel like family and took care of us in every way possible. Then there was Joe, who went out of his way to make sure my three sons were taken care of. Not only did he bring fishing poles and bait, but he even showed them how to bait the hook and cast. Between Giselle and Joe, we had a golf cart, a boat, fishing poles and bait, a cooler, and everything else we needed for a fun-filled week! Then there was the room...or should I say, mansion. The kitchen was amazing and well stocked (and we made good use of it), the furniture was wonderful, beds super comfortable, bathrooms spacious, everything was just perfect. What a wonderful find! When we didn't cook in the room, the staff in the restaurant was up to the same standard as Giselle and Joe (unfortunately I don't recall their names), even serving us poolside when the children were playing (and I don't mean just on the outside patio...I mean they offered to bring lunch right out to the lounge chairs!!!).

Yelp
We decided to try this resort for my birthday. While this hotel is in a great location and has a kitchen as a bonus, I won't stay again. I'm not sure why Marriott allows them to stay in their program. It was not worth the $450 for the night. They do not honor any of Marriott's Elite Benefits. Period. I am Titanium Elite. No complimentary upgrade even though they were mostly empty. No early check in or late check out. Oh, and they didn't even give me the correct amount of points for my stay. Marriott is fixing this. The resort is broken into buildings that you have to walk between and only 1 elevator in the entire resort. The Front doors do not have any automation to get carts/strollers/luggage in much less a wheelchair if needed. You also have to go through other doors as you walk to get to the room. No automation there either. This hotel is definitely not completely "Accessible". Also, Automation on the doors should be extra important during Covid-19 so people don't have to touch anything. The front doors lock around 9 and do not have a key card entry. I only found 1 other entry that I could access to get in as most had a gate that would not open with a room key. The restaurant and bar are still closed. The front desk closes at 6 pm on weekdays and a little later on the weekend. Even though they said the manager on duty was supposed to answer the phone, I didn't get any answer when I called down or when I called the after hours number listed on the info sheet they gave me at check in. The kitchen was nice, but the counter had crumbs under items sitting on the counter. There were ghost ants in the kitchen also. It is a common issue on islands and they need a regular pest control plan. I reported it and I'm not sure if they called anyone. NBC was blocked on the TV. Not sure why. The staff tried to say that it must be out on spectrum, but I know it was working at my house which has spectrum also and is just down the road. There is a full size washer and dryer in the rooms which is a nice feature if you are there longer. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedding is great as it's the Marriott bedding. The staff was friendly. Basically these are condos which they are now selling and they are now more focused on selling condos than providing service to guests.

Yelp
2 stars is probably too generous. I recommend avoiding this place. Probably the least friendly hotel that I have ever stayed at! Certainly the worst Marriott affiliated hotel this Platinum travel has experienced! As context, the Sarasota Ritz which is close and on the water, is the same price! I made the mistake of choosing here- a mistake that I hope this review helps you not to make. The rough gravel parking lot can probably hold 75 cars. When we arrived it probably had 10 cars in it. Following the instructions I received when talking to the staff on the phone, I pulled into that lot with my boat trailer and took two of the dozens of empty spots. Before I could walk up to the hotel, I started getting angry stares from a staff member working the grounds. The check in clerk proceeded to ignore me for several minutes and before he got around to acknowledging me, two separate staff members had came up and asked if that was my trailer and telling me that it could not be parked there and that it would have to be separated from the vehicle and parking across the street. I was definitely happy to move it even though the staff member that we had spoken to on the phone said that it would be perfectly fine in the lot that I pulled directly into...but let me get checked in The onsite restaurant was ok but extremely overpriced and the waiter looked and acted sick!! The room was generally good and mostly clean except for the tiny ants. I wanted to use points for the stay but for some reason- even with occupancy well below 50 % points were not an option for the second night. The person on the phone advised making 2 reservations and just to let them know and they would link them so I would not have to move rooms. When I finally got checked in I was told that I would have to check out and check in again... not a huge deal but further aggravation... Take my advice, go to the ritz

Yelp
Horrible establishment. Made reservation, using points, bc the Marriott website said this place was 8 miles from my destination. Day of trip we discovered the site was wrong, it was over an hour from my destination. Customer care rep said no problem, no penalty since the site was wrong and then reimbursed my points. I've been a silver member for over 5 years. I have never canceled. So I didn't think it was a problem. Then Marriott took $608 out of my checking account bc I canceled a free room the morning of because their site misled me. Will be fighting this and canceling all future Marriott stays. Just awful. UPDATE: Judy from Mainsails made this right. She reversed the charges and was so human about everything. I am done with Marriott BUT Waterline is a thumbs up in my book. Thank you Judy! You listened and were so kind and I appreciate it.

Jon D.

Yelp
We thought this place was FANTASTIC! I spend 200+ nights a year in hotels and this place really did it for me. Spent and overnight 9-9 and can't wait to go back. Decor, service, rooms, restaurant, all A+++. Strongly recommend. It's not cheap but it is very good and I feel you get what you pay for at this fine establishment. Enjoy :)

Yelp
Such a beautiful resort. The location is perfect for a staycation or a getaway. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing as well. Highly recommend

Yelp
Beware of the cancellation policy. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced within the Marriott organization. They are neither helpful nor understanding! If I could give "0" stars I would! Shameful policy!

Yelp
I absolutely loved this hotel! A bunch of friends and I got a two bedroom suite for around $390/night. Not affordable really if I were by myself but since I was splitting it with a couple girls, it was fine. The suite was beautiful and had dishware and basic kitchen accessories for us to use and cook with. Two particular employees, Cara and Gregory, were amazing and went above and beyond expectations. For example, their golf cart, which they use to provide complimentary rides to the beach, was out of service so Gregory, the manager, did not hesitate to drive us in his personal car. Also, there is a private beach club at the beach. So, if you're at the beach, they have a little condo like place that has air conditioning (much needed reprieve from the heat) and water and a restroom. They also have beach chairs and umbrellas for rent for roughly $10-15 each. This hotel is in a sleepy beach town so things tend to shut down around 10 pm. The hotel pool is beautiful and they have a little cabana area where you can play games like ping pong and cornhole. All in all, a solid hotel experience and would definitely go back [if I were sharing the cost ;-) ]

Yelp
How can I start...I made this reservation 6 months ago & even called after booking to ask for top floor since I booked a 2 bedroom water view/corner. Even called day of arriving to see if I'd be honored that being a gold member. Cole, checked us in 2nd floor & NOT the corner room 323 was not the end corner it was next to the corner room to our right! The water view was a joke, it was abit of water slightly passed marina view. The pic while booking the most expensive room showed lots of water that was building behind us where the boat tours enter. The a/c didn't work well at all in living/king bed area. Twin bed a/c worked being turned to its lowest 65. The patio door doesn't close properly. People above me super loud/heavy walking, dog barking. Newer hotel so it still looks beautiful. Beware of paper thin walls! The parking area is all gravel, our car got a nail in it took to the place across the street and had to buy a new one since it was a side nail hole you can't fix For $549 a night pave the parking. The workout room didn't have any face towels, I had to walk down to front desk and ask/get some. The treadmills would not let you sign into your Netflix account, tv was impossible to figure out so we gave up and used our own iPhones to watch something. Small gym. It's close to everything, its also very loud around you. Not as advertised on site. Looked more private from pics on Marriott site. I'm hoping Marriott, credits my account! My husband didn't want me ruining our stay with complaining!

Matt D.

Yelp
BEWARE... awful customer experience. I booked this property through Marriott Bonvoy by accident 2x at two different rates. When I realized my mistake I actually cancelled the less expensive rate within seconds not realizing this mistake. Only until I received my credit card statement did I know this. Upon learning this I reached out to a rude Marriott associate who told me that I had not notified within 72 hours. There was no front desk associate at the Waterline wnen we checked out and we were not given a receipt to even know. Marriott contacted the resort to ask for a refund and was denied. Not only this but no mention on the Bonvoy app of our booking or receipt online. Absolute horrible experience with the Marriott and Waterline reps. I will never stay at another Marriott or partner property.

Yelp
All the comforts of home and a hotel in one. First, the place is gorgeous! The attention to minor details shows in this hotel. The giant checkers by the pool, is a perfect example. Not everyone is entrained by a pool, but come on GIANT checkers? Well you just don't see those every day. The is also a larger size Jenga if you are into that. The pool is accommodating for everyone. Has a lift for those who need assistance to get into and out of the water. The best part is the water is heated. The bar and restaurant is fully stocked with the best beers, wines, and fine spirits. I can't wait to come back and try dinner here. We had a wedding reception here so we had the usual fajitas and all the fixings. Even this"common" food tasted extraordinary. The beef fajitas were tender and moist. The chicken was also prepared to perfection. The best part was the black beans prepared in the kitchen. I think of myself as a black bean hater. Yes I do know they have more protein and fiber than pinto beans, but I have taste buds as well. I got a small spoonful of the beans, got to prove the beans aren't good, right?! Wow I was wrong! I quickly realized my mistake and corrected it. The best black beans ever! I do mean EVER. Going to talk to the chef so I can eat "healthy" black beans! Yum. Now upstairs to the room. This has got to be the best place for a family reunion and get together. Our suite we shared with a group of friends. It was wonderful. They had their room and we had ours. No embarrassing, middle of the night run-ins or sharing going on in these rooms. Perfect place. The beds, true to an Autograph hotel, comfortable and hard to want to leave! The pillows feel like clouds for my head. There is also the creature comforts, TV's hung on the wall in each room. No one has to fight over, I mean has to pick, what everyone will watch. With three TV's everyone gets what they want. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. The patios are not the typical cramped patios. They offer the feeling of home, while away. Plenty of room to sit and visit or sit and take a nap while overlooking the water. But before I end this review, there is also a well appointed kitchen. No need to go out! Everything one can think of to prepare family nourishment, is in this kitchen. Dinner table included. I wonder if grocery getting is offered? Will look into it and get back to you. Come visit as a couple or with family this is the place to come for an extended get away.

Brian L.

Yelp
Be warned...this NOT a beach resort unlike what the website advertises. This is simply a hotel at the Marina with no beach privileges. On our recent trip, we also discovered the restaurant was closed. Rooms are decent but pool area is sterile. No umbrellas for lounge chairs. Marriott needs to change the name of the property as to not deceive their guests!

Yelp
Love this brand-new full service hotel on quaint Anna Maria Island! Two bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, a full service restaurant serving coastal seafood dishes, great work out facility and pools on the bay side boat marina and at the beach. They also have standard hotel rooms, but we choose a suite to enjoy breakfast on our balcony each morning. Very friendly staff has learned the ropes well, and the beach shuttle will take you door to door to a great white sand beach with all the hotel amenities a few minutes away. No long term stay required (we booked just three nights on our first stay). Anna Maria Island charm, with full 24/7 hotel services - they even have room service dining! My kind of place -- can't wait to come back for a week or two! What a great addition to this west coast paradise.

Lindsay S.

Yelp
Thank you for always welcoming our family. We've visited for a date nite, week day brunch, weekend afternoon with kids and again for an afternoon escape that entailed kids after school. The hospitality from the front desk, gift shop and over and beyond bartenders keeps us coming back. Thank you for working hard to fit in on our little island. Your customer service and open arms have been exactly what we have needed lately.

Sydney C.

Yelp
This was our first time to the island, we were not disappointed! The island itself is gorgeous and amazing, pulling into the hotel we were happy to see a Mariana right outside the doors and cute little shops and restaurants surrounding the area. The lobby is absolutely beautiful and the rooms do not fall short. 4 adults fit great in the two bedroom suite. We were greeted with the most kind and helpful staff I've ever encountered. Our room wasn't quite ready yet so the manager put a rush on it immediately. After a short walk on the beach, our room was ready and clean. The full kitchen with new appliances was great for late night snacks and drinks. Beds are super comfy and living room is homey and quaint. The beach decor really enhances the beach oasis trip you're looking for. The main restaurant in the lobby is a little bit of a mature menu but a kids menu is provided. Price per night Is a tad steep but with the heated pool, accommodations and the friendliest staff, id say it's worth it! Would also highly recommend the sunset cruise offered through the hotel, great way to get a feel for the island! We will definitely be returning!!
