Got upgraded from the Standard Lodge to the Superior Lodge and man was it amazing. Having tea at night and coffee on the little veranda seating for 2 in the morning with the view was 👌🏼 Very spacious and clean room. Loved all the mirrors, conveniently placed power sockets, iron & stand already in the room, coffee & tea selection to the very large and comfortable bed. I definitely recommend visiting the leisure center. Great pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room. The gym has nice views of the pool area from above. Both Bridge Restaurant and Bar 1815 had great menus and the food tasted amazing 😋 Every staff member from the reception to the servers in both restaurants were friendly, courteous and just very lovely overall!

Waterloo hotel was very good. Staff very nice, hotel room was good. No air conditioning but in cupboard tall black fan. We used because it was warm, it did the trick. We closed curtains as soon as we got there to keep heat out also. Breakfast was very good. Has car park also, on small side though. After breaky sat in lounge had coffee, all very nice.

Clean, quiet lodge room, with parking space. Room was hot though, despite leaving windows open all day and night, and we couldn't get the WiFi to work. We did not sleep well the first night because the mattress had integral topper (or it may have been the base?) at the top, which was so hard it made my hips so sore I was in tears, turning over every 15 minutes to relieve pain and pressure on my hips. I took ibuprofen but was still sore and my spine clicked every time I turned over, having been pushed out of alignment by the too-hard bed. When I discovered the metal band in the mattress next morning, I turned the mattress over so it was at the bottom, and we both slept a lot better the second night. ||Leisure facilities were clean and provided perfect relaxation after long days of walking. Cooked breakfast was disappointing in quality, but pancakes were good. ||Receptionist was welcoming and helpful. Staff member Laura in the dining room was super efficient, attentive, and so lovely and welcoming that she made our day brighter after a difficult night's sleep! She is clearly an experienced and completely invaluable member of staff at Waterloo hotel. ||Rock-hard mattress, over hot room, unreliable WiFi and disappointing cooked breakfast reduced my star rating to 3, but the leisure facilities were good and staff were so welcoming and helpful that I've given a 4 star rating.

Very comfortable stay with my family overnight. Very helpful staff and beautiful location with plenty of parking. However, breakfast was big disappointment for us. Adult breakfast for 15 pounds each, I would expect bit more than a single sausage, beans on a smallest bowl I have seen and some mushroom and fried potatoes. For 45 pounds for breakfast for 2 adult and 2 kids I would expect better.

Stayed in a superior lodge for one night as I was celebrating my birthday and bringing my two dogs (and husband) on a visit to Betws y Coed for the night. The first thing to mention is how lovely every single member of staff we met were. Really helpful and went the extra mile to make it a special visit. You can tell they are not just saying they are dog friendly but really mean it. From the little gifts of dog treats to the designated eating areas with dog beds they were treated as valued guests as well. The room was clean and comfortable and while we didn't have dinner there the breakfast was really lovely.

We stopped here for lunch, on what was a rainy day. We’ve passed by this place numerous times but have never called in, but so glad we did as it was lovely. The waiting staff were friendly, affable, efficient, polite, and chatty. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. I had a burger, which was meat packed and flavoursome. We had 4 drinks and 2 mains which came to £42; quite reasonably priced. The restaurant is dog friendly, comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The toilets were spotless.

Great pool. Rooms clean. Good car parking. Lodge rooms have space for children if weather poor..BUT|Very overpriced for quality /size of room and mediocre non changing breakfast with Kellogs variety and a very oaty muesli and tined fruit/apples oranges but no soft fruit and cold long life mini croissants .Staff pleasant but inattentive (like clearing away cereal bowls when serving hot food) with one exception who was working hard all weekend|Bar for supper also very expensive pub grub (2£ supplement for small pot of baked beans on a children menu)-there is a lot of competition on the town hence maybe why very empty| We are regular visitors to N Wales and the town, the pool and spa may persuade us to stay again and I note many reviews are very positive, maybe we had an off weekend but needs a senior staff person to review it all in my view

Lovely place, we stayed one night before climbing snowdon, the reception staff were so helpful and also when we checked out. They rang about a coat I'd left and offered to send it out, but we collected on our way home. The Lodge was perfect for our short stay, comfortable and big enough for two. A modern bathroom and a bedroom with the right amount of space for an overnighter. We had a few drinks in the bar at night and I was lounging because I was worse for wear but everyone was so pleasant and no one complained about me sprawling out on a sofa. The place was just so welcoming and comfortable ,I just felt at home. Breakfast was served hot and looked delicious. The gooseberry wine was the best I've ever tasted. Situated in a beautiful village, we have said we would definitely return. So I look forward to that day.
