"Located right on the Pacific Coast Highway, Watermarc is a people-watcher’s dream, with an oversize front patio and large windows overlooking Peppertree Lane. Grab a window seat if you can, then dive deep into the extensive wine list, which features 239 varietals perfect for pairing with the wide range of “grazing plates” on offer at dinner. Order dishes like sizzling shrimp, cod-and-potato croquettes, ahi watermelon skewers, and charred octopus to share with the table, then pick an entrée like day-boat scallops with lobster risotto for yourself. The menu here goes well beyond seafood, but while you’re staring at the ocean, you might as well try her delicious offerings."
Perfect place to do people watching as well as super car watching.
Beautiful design interior, attention to detail including wood slats ceiling.
Attentive services , good food .My braised Bacon Burger was humongous, however the egg and Burger was just a little bit overcooked. Overall it was a good quick lunch.

Such a lovely restaurant! We went here for our anniversary dinner. Very accommodating when we wanted to switch tables so that we could sit next to each other, as opposed to across from each other. Found a great bartender who's a collector of spirits, and he let us question him on different bottles. Also found a new whiskey blend to add to our bar. Vegetarian options available. Roasted Heirloom Cauliflower and the Vegetable Paella were fantastic. Filet 3 Ways was outstanding. Next time we're trying the octopus, as it's highly recommended. Food was delicious and great quality. Would definitely recommend.

The food was amazing! The steak was perfect and so was the rest of the food! Great quality! Service was not as great and it took a while to get out food and drinks. However the food was so amazing that I didn't care much about the wait.

Surprisingly excellent food. Everything is perfectly made. A bit crowded tables arrangement but friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Nice place with good food. We paired the vegetable paella with strawberry field. The Paella had a generous serving of vegetables. The quantity is perfect for a person but was a little less for two. There is metered parking by the street which is a bit hard to find, but there are plenty of paid lots around. The restaurant is located within a tiny mall, so the entrances have steps (no easy access). The view from the place is great!

My experience was nothing less than excellent! The wait staff, ambiance, and lunch selection were top-notch. Recommend the paella, bacon-wrapped dates, and the lamb salad.

We came to Watermarc on Monday night for a client dinner. I was able to reserve on Open Table very easily. We showed up about 15 mins early but were seated right away. The atmosphere is dark and intimate but not stuffy. There is a small dining room and bar plus some community high top tables inside and that's it. It's small. There is a patio that adds a few extra tables when it's a little nicer outside.
We were greeted right away with the server telling us the specials for the night. We ordered some wine (great wine menu with bottle and glass selections) and ended up starting with the brussels sprouts and cod (or some white fish?) croquettes. Both were absolutely delicious. I could have had two servings of the sprouts myself!
My 2 companions had the salmon special (wild caught salmon on risotto) and I had the vegetable paella. Holy cow. It was absolutely spectacular. So flavorful and piping hot. It had mushrooms, cauliflower, broccolini, tomatoes, rice and so many other things I cant even name. So happy I got it. We took our time eating and chatting and never once felt rushed. Such an amazing experience with awesome food and staff. I will 100% come back when I'm in the area!

Fantastic. Service was pleasant and food was good. My husband and I wanted a light lunch and this restaurant had the perfect combo. Would come back to try other offerings.
