The design is AMAZING! This hotel is one of our favorites when we are in town. The staff is wonderful and so helpful with any questions and/or recommendations! It was a bit noisy late last night. The kids running up and down the hall and parents yelling, but thats life! We will definitely be returning in the future.

Google
Would have liked to recommend this hotel as the location and interior were amazing. The service when we entered was non existent until we tracked down an employee ourselves for valet and checking in. The valet refused to valet our vehicle because of a “liability issue” regarding our Thule storage on our vehicle “still shorter than any truck or larger suv” not sure how the liability increases on a any other vehicle they valet. We were driving through on our way to Texas so I wasn’t going to make any issue and we parked in a different structure across the street. We carried all our luggage into the hotel and not a single employee offers any help or assistance once we did reach the hotel. The restaurant was good food and service, but that seemed to be about it with the customer service at this hotel. But the night was followed by possibly the worst sleep I have ever had in any hotel or even motel in my life. The beauty rest spring mattress in our room felt like it was busted, being there only a single night my wife child and I tried to just make the most of it and get some sleep and get back on the road the next morning, well that wasn’t possible as sections of these mattresses were actually kind of painful to sleep on. We should have immediately complained but the long drive before and needing a mental break we just rolled with it and decided that this hotel was “showing us who they really are” and just chalk it up to a learning experience of never booking this hotel ever again. We decided we would at least inform them at checkout the next morning and see if service improved. Well it was dismissed with the “well we will have someone look into it, would you like to pay with the credit card on file?” I say “sure”, we left with the information we needed I guess, this isn’t a 3 or 4 star hotel and the one night stay had me wondering if they could even compete with a best Western or any given Motel. It is a very beautiful hotel, but it by these other reviews it seems management or ownership needs to be more present in this business and it was glaringly obvious that wasn’t the case here. Management you should be ashamed at how this Marriott signature series Hotel is being run.

First off, let's start with the amazing. Mr. B was very over the top with service, and I couldn't ask for better. He had perfect insights on where to go and what to do. The man is a rockstar with customer service of any regard. The staff in general were very polite but mostly reserved and not very outgoing. Overall, it was a great experience; just some of the staff were really good, and others you could tell were just there for a paycheck.

Google
We drove in from a 7 1/2 hour drive with to young children. Needless to say we were tired. The enclosed glass shower leaked all on the floor causing my child to slip and fall. Called front desk they sent maintenance and extra towels… still happened the next morning during another shower. We went down later to dinner (about 10pm) which was amazing! Went back up to the room around 11pm and tried to use the pull out couch for my kids to sleep on… well it had broken springs and was not suitable for two kids to sleep on… I’m 6’2 200 lbs and had to sleep on the couch. We definitely expected better as platinum elite members for a Marriott hotel brand

This historic hotel is perfectly placed in Downtown Baton Rouge. It is beautiful on the inside with all the amenities. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The bathrooms are updated and the shower was awesome. Fitness room was accessible and well stocked. The only down side was the Valet parking was expensive ($33) and since we were only staying overnight, it was too much. We found street parking nearby for hourly rates.

We recently stayed at the Watermark Hotel in Baton Rouge and had a wonderful experience. The hotel has a modern feel and is comfortable.||The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and attentive. It is located in a walkable area with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and sightseeing places.||One drawback for us was that there was no microwave. The valet took a few minutes to retrieve my car.

Google
The hotel was extremely clean and everything was amazing, except the front desk customer service. The guy at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Although the valet could not accommodate our truck (Ram 3500), he was extremely nice and helpful and pointed us in the direction of a parking garage we could use.

Thank you for making me feel like the most important person in Baton Rouge LA. today. You made my stay truly special. Your can-do attitude really shined and made the difference. Ms.Britney Bates I'm so happy to have made your acquaintance Mr.Bill, I really do admire it and appreciate all that you do. While "thank you" may seem like a simple phrase, it truly does not encompass the depth of my gratitude for your exceptional efforts. Your commitment to resolving issues and providing outstanding service has not only restored my trust in the hotel industry but has also left a lasting impression on Rochelle, Ethan and Khai. The kindness and support shown by you has exceeded my expectations, and I am truly appreciative of the exceptional customer service experience I have received. Yelp
I stayed at the Watermark while I was on business. It's located in downtown Baton Rouge. I can't speak to parking, as I ubered there, but they do offer vallet. When I arrived I was greeted and checked in. Check-in was a breeze and I was given two bottles of complimentary water, and then headed to my room. My room was on the 9th floor and had a nice view of the city and the water. It had everything one may need when staying at a hotel: bathroom, tv, bed, outlets, ironing board, iron, etc. Everyone was pleasant that worked there. The hotel is close to dining, some walkable, some you may need to get an uber.

Yelp
The greetings from valet to checkout counter were super friendly! The bar service was a little slow but it was 1 guy with a packed out bar and he was also making drinks for the restaurant side. Marriott should hire more bartenders for weekends! The cosmopolitan was perfect but the grilled oysters could use improving! The beds are super comfortable and I love the vaulted ceilings in the rooms. This gives it a big feeling! The bathroom is nice too! Yes I recommend this hotel & bar & restaurant!

Yelp
What a unique hotel. You don't have many options outside of Valet to park. There is a self parking lot to the east but it isn't a secured lot. The retro from a old bank back in the day to a beautiful hotel that overlooks the city and river makes it the place to stay when visiting Baton Rouge. Unique art decor throughout the hotel. If you like something different, this is your place. The closet is an open wire cage that also holds the fridge and safe. Curtain system to pull for privacy at the bathroom sink. I loved it, and hope you do too.
google avatar

Daniel M.

Yelp
Such a wonderful place to stay. Brittany and staff were amazing. Beds are comfortable and food is good!
google avatar

Audrey W.

Yelp
The lobby decor is stunning. There appears to be preserved original marblework from the building's first life as a bank. There are only 3 elevators, but I had no issues with waiting during my stay. The room decor is... funky? The closet and fridge are in a cage. But it was clean and comfortable and I had a lovely view of the river from my window. The valet parking stand is in a strange place, around the corner from the main door. And with 1 way streets everywhere, navigating back when GoogleMaps gets you to the wrong place isn't the easiest. I found the city parking lot down the street to be as convenient. Some on-street parking is available.

Yelp
The Watermark is our go to hotel for visits to Baton Rouge. We like that it has personality and is not a bland, roadside property. Service is very friendly. This visit, however, was very disappointing as our room was exceedingly loud. We were a half a block away from a new club and listened to the pounding beat of some sort of dance music until two in the morning. Noise canceling earbuds helped but it was very disruptive to sleep. We were in room 701 and will return only if we can be guaranteed a room on the other side of the hotel.
google avatar

Tammy H.

Yelp
Beautiful and artsy hotel! The stay was impeccable, the mattress & pillows put them over the top!! Everything worked, the view of the river breathtaking. The police presence made easy walking access to the bars & restaurants making this a must do again weekend away. And... the late night hamburger was the best!!

Kel D.

Yelp
I don't know if because it's an old bank building (and therefore not really insulated), or the walls are just really thin, but you can literally hear EVERYTHING going on in the neighboring rooms. I literally heard someone's entire phone conversation, and they weren't even talking that loud. The rooms have no curtains - only thin, see through horizontal shades. The rooms are SO dark even with all the lights on (no way was this designed by a woman). It's impossible to do your hair and makeup without knowing whether or not you look like a clown. Also, there's only one restaurant in the whole place and the servers were kinda standoffish and weird. Positives: It's an old bank building so the structure is very pretty and elegant.

Yelp
Watermark Hotel, a staple in Baton Rouge's downtown landscape, impresses with its seamless blend of historical architecture and modern luxury. Housed within a former bank building, the hotel offers an enriching journey through Baton Rouge's history via its art-deco interiors and meticulously preserved design elements. Each room showcases an aesthetic that fuses comfort with sophisticated style, highlighted by artwork from local artists. The rooms are not only comfortable but also equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a luxurious stay. The in-house restaurant, The Gregory, excels in presenting Southern cuisine with an innovative twist, the dishes as much a visual treat as they are a delight for the taste buds. The bar, too, impresses with its curated selection of drinks. Perhaps most notable is the staff, who provide personalized service, making each guest feel valued. They are professional, attentive, and deeply knowledgeable about the local area, further enriching the hotel experience. All in all, Watermark Hotel isn't just a place to stay; it's a luxurious sojourn into Baton Rouge's rich history and vibrant culture, promising an unforgettable experience to every guest.

Bill H.

Yelp
The standard rooms are large and perfectly layed out. Our view of the capitol was great. The fact that the hotel was recently renovated was appreciated and enjoyed. Service was good, and the location is very good.
google avatar

Darris J.

Yelp
Overall a pretty solid experience. Loved the ambiance and decor. Checks the box for an upscale bar, checks box for an upscale dining experience, also checks box an onsite fast casual restaurant, and finally a decent gym and close proximity to other food and entertainment. Staff was nice and helpful along with easy access to main thoroughfares and I-10. It will be my "go to" for business in BR from now on.

Tamara E.

Yelp
We love this hotel. The staff is always great and helpful. The restaurant & bar are both good as well. The only downfall is, there is a bar next door that plays music extremely loud until they close (2am on weekends). You will hear this in your room, as well as all the voices of the patrons outside the bar, until they close, especially if your room is one facing Third Street. This can make for a long night if you are trying to sleep. It is of no fault of the hotel, but it is a nuisance.

Aidan C.

Yelp
The watermark Hotel is a great hotel that offers premium valet service. Including they're four valets showed excellent service.
google avatar

Rosa L.

Yelp
Very nice staff. Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms. Restaurant had good food including a great chocolate cake. Some cons. I couldn't find much to eat around the hotel. Most eateries were closed. Not sure if it was the time or day but it didn't seem there was anything open. The one that was open and the hotel recommended was packed and wouldn't allow take out when they couldn't accommodate my party. It was a popular hotel with several weddings the day we stayed. Pricey valet parking. But there is a lot close by if you don't want valet.

Yelp
The people are the only thing that saved this hotel. As most of the other reviewers have said it has potential. But there's a lot wrong. Things That Need Improvement 1. They have these cool looking shades but they do not keep the light out at night. AT ALL. Look at my pictures and see how well I could take pictures. I took those lying in bed. That's from the light on the street. 2. The shower faucet turns the wrong direction. This shouldn't happen in a high end hotel; just in old houses. Today, there are ways things are done. 3. When I got out of the shower I was toweling off my hair and my fingers went through the towel. Check out there pictures of the towel; this wasn't a new hole, there are multiple holes in the towel. 4. Their business center is a joke. You stand up at the computer, they only have the Microsoft Browser (E) and gmail won't let you login. Ymail only gives you limited access, so I can't pull up an attachment. This was a waste of time. NOTE: I shared this with the front desk and they printed it for me. Nice people. 5. Since you have to stand at the computers in the business center (it's really a corner) the computers are not handicap accessible. 6. I can hear the water running next door. This isn't completely abnormal, but it sounded so close I checked the toilet and sink to make sure it wasn't running in my room Things That Are Good: 1, For a hotel, the rooms were roomy. 2. They are decorated well. I was impressed. I especially liked the glass sliding door to the bathroom and the shower area. 3. You can't go upstairs to the rooms without a key. This is becoming the norm and I'm summer places this has been a serious pain because their system needed work but this works perfectly here. 4. The internet is excellent. 5. The employees sees very helpful and friendly. At least there employees you see. The only reason I say this, is that the behind scenes employees let an extremely hole-y towel go up to a room. SO NOW I NEED TO CHECK OUT AND FIND SOMEWHERE TO PRINT. GRR.

Yelp
I absolutely love this hotel! It has a really modern boutique feel. Got a great rate on a Sunday..less than 100 bucks. I have stayed here before and the staff is always jovial and efficient. The room was clean and had a decent view of Downtown. The elevator looks like the original one that came with the bldg which i really like. The building has a lot of old charm with modern features. They have valet parking but you can easily find street parking or use the paid parking lot less than a block away. There are a few bars and eateries within walking distance. I especially like the hug walk in shower and there is a curtain that seperates the room from the sink area. Defintiely my top pick of places to stay in the Baton Rouge area.

Jen F.

Yelp
I love this hotel. It's walking distance to tons of amazing food including having a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on site. Shannon (I know it started with an S) Smith was sooo sweet and helpful and made me feel right at home. Beds are very comfortable, the lighting is very moody/romantic, with a beautiful shower. No complaints.
google avatar

Gerg P.

Yelp
Nice hotel uniquely customized because it was a bank Decour reflects that of bank vaults. Goofy valet pick up and drop off points you are led to the door with steps kind of hard to use a cart. No automatic handicap doors so you have to hold the door open while you roll in the luggage cart. Three elevators require key card to operate. Rooms are very nice with automatic pushbutton rollup shades and curtains. Bill the senior Bell man is extremely knowledgeable about the hotel and its owner. He is full of history of the area well worth it to have a nice conversation with him and tip him generously for his knowledge. And don't forget to tip your house keeper.
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
This hotel is on the pricey side but if you want to spend a little extra, I definitely recommend it. Had a great meal on the first floor and slept great. The soap also smelled amazing haha. The website accurately depicts the vibe. Enjoy your stay
google avatar

Andrew W.

Yelp
I stayed at the Watermark back in February for a week while on a business trip. The ambiance of the hotel is fantastic, and it gives off a very cool old-school kind of vibe. The room was well appointed, and we had a good view of the river. Toiletries in the room smelled incredible, and were very refreshing. The restaurant onsite was excellent, and I ate there several times over the course of the week. The gumbo was some of the best that I've had. The only minor critique I have is that it was sometimes difficult to get ahold of the valet staff - they were often talking with the restaurant hostesses rather than manning the valet stand. Overall an excellent experience! I'll be sure to keep the Watermark in mind the next time I'm in town.
google avatar

Sharon S.

Yelp
Our second stay at this autograph collection hotel was quite different than our first 10 days ago. Granted, we arrived in the rain. But I would have thought one of the 3 hotel employees (all gentlemen) standing at the front door would have helped me unload my large suitcase from my SUV or help me carry it up the small set of stairs. Instead I did it myself. The front desk check-in was smooth and efficient, with the professional staff wearing a mask and behind plexiglass. Our 7th floor corner room is clean and simple with a view of the mighty Mississippi River. Other than the lack of baggage assistance this hotel has fabulous staff, excellent service and beautiful restaurant and bar.
google avatar

Andrew M.

Yelp
An expensive bad night's sleep. I was repeatedly awoken throughout the night by train whistles, heavy trucks and machinery. The rooms were nice, but not well sound insulated. In the morning I heard all of my neighbors' alarm clocks.

Kent S.

Yelp
3pm check-in. No fresh linens at the property. Now 6:40. Still no check-in available. Lobby is full of angry guests that cannot get to their rooms. Staff overwhelmed with no solutions. No timeframes available. For the "best" hotel in Baton Rouge this place is a failure. Try the local motel 6 for a more pleasurable experience. This place is beautiful, but it currently sucks. Never again.
google avatar

Bob E.

Yelp
Love this hotel. Its locsted in downtown Baton Rouge, next to the old capital overlooking the Mississippi River. Its part of Marriots Autograph Collection which is a mix of historic and ubique properties. The rooms are a bit smaller, but large enough to accommodate. It is after all a historic building. The bar and restaurant is called the Gregory, which is nice. I'm fond of the open bar. Staff has always been very polite and professional. If you are looking for a spot in downtown Baton Rouge you can't go wrong with Watermark. (Also I rarely give 5 stars so don't my 4 as a sign)
google avatar

Zachary K.

Yelp
Whoa does this place have potential! I felt so lucky to get such a cheap rate on this brand new hotel, so was very much looking forward to staying here. The moment we walked in, it felt like we were transported back in time. Our check in process was relatively smooth, we got up to our room and turns out the front desk person wrote down the wrong number for our hotel room. Oops! We got in the elevator and while riding down realized they hadn't taken the plastic wrap off the elevator doors so patrons had been slowly tearing it away. It seemed like this place overall will be an amazing place for years to come but was missing some of the small details you need to execute on a unique experience. The location is in the downtown bar area and the interior walls relatively thin so expect to hear some noise at night. Also, would be great if the free coffee in the lobby had cups that say Autograph or Watermark hotel or heck just plain white rather than looking like something you get from the gas station. I love Marriott's autograph collection, and would stay here again, but hope they pay more attention to detail to maintain the truly authentic, historic feel it delivers when you initially walk in.
google avatar

Darren C.

Yelp
For the past 3 months I've been traveling around staying in different hotels. This was by far the best all around stay. The hotel was beautiful but that's not what sets this place apart from the rest. ( I usually stay in nice hotels so they all look nice) The staff is what made this hotel a home. Everyone, and I mean everyone was warm and friendly. After a weekend I felt like I could have stayed for a month. Whenever I'm back in Baton Rouge, I will stay here and so should you.

Ilsa K.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel, great location, courteous staff--no complaints here! The building is also historic, so fun to learn about it.
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
Minus half a star. Let's start with the good. The location is very nice and oddly quiet even with all the construction going on in the downtown area. The rooms are well put together and modern in design. Now the slight downfalls. They offer an early check-in which is useless being that it's not guaranteed. I came early from NOLA to get my room which I was told would be ready at 8am. I got here and there were no rooms. For the inconvenience of getting here early and not having a room the person at the front desk basically shrugged and said we can call you when something is ready. Around 1:30 I was contacted that there was a room available. When I checked in around 2pm there was someone else at the front desk and I told them about the earlier situation in the hopes I could at least get a complimentary breakfast. This person did the same thing as first. Shrugged and said too bad about the inconvenience. Next downfall is the fitness area is really lackluster. Super tiny. Very limited. And for some reason a punching bag... Anyways. It's an okay location. Good history behind the building.
google avatar

Joseph H.

Yelp
Exceed Expectations! Boutique charm in small city but gives it a metropolitan view. Will definitely my place of choice when in Baton Rouge.
google avatar

Danitza L.

Yelp
This hotel was a gem. Very friendly employees, very clean, comfortable beds, great bar and nice menu for dinner and breakfast to go. If my son ends up at LSU, we will definitely become regulars. Parking is right across the street and felt very safe.
google avatar

Nique H.

Yelp
Stellar service to say the least! This hotel definitely gave me 5 star treatment. The attention to detail in the building was astounding! The bar in the lobby is just off the reception area but far enough to handle reception transactions peacefully. There is no bad view in this hotel. Just off the elevator you are greeted with unique paintings and wall decor. My room was breathtaking. I specifically enjoyed the exposed concrete on the walls. I roamed the halls looking for an ice machine and ended up calling downstairs only to find that they bring whatever you need directly to you per your request. Words cant express how well I was treated by the staff. The view of the river was very soothing especially at night. I will definitely return.
google avatar

Robyn V.

Yelp
Excellent customer service, well appointed rooms, great hotel bar. This is what I think makes for a great hotel experience.
google avatar

Bailey B.

Yelp
Awesome visit!! Loved Mr. Bill and Derrick!! Gorgeous facility with tons of history.... the rooms are mId-century modern. Go visit!! Bar and restaurant is fab! Only drawback is that the $134 room costs $190 with all of the add-on fees.
google avatar

Bianca P.

Yelp
Love the watermark! It's a beautifully remodeled older building in the heart of downtown. The rooms are large. There is a gym. Valet parking is available but I was able to find free street parking. The staff was great ... I'll definitely be back.
google avatar

Brandon W.

Yelp
Can't say enough good things about this hotel. Autograph hotels are usually so neat, but this is easily the coolest one by far. The staff is always so accommodating and the hotel rooms are so neat. Had a great view of the Mississippi and LSU. Make sure you check out the Vault. So neat.
google avatar

Albert M.

Yelp
This hotel is beautiful on the inside. You can tell it's newly renovated, and the lobby/restaurant are very nice. Parking was a little difficult as their is no driveway. You have to pull into street parking for valet which if busy can be dangerous. The rooms itself are small but beautiful. Shower was very nice and bathrooms very clean. Pillows are a little too soft, but that's all preference. It was also very easy to hear people moving around in the hallway and in rooms neighboring. I would recommend this hotel, but between the parking and neighboring noise it was a little frustrating for the price.
google avatar

David J.

Yelp
This is a really nice hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff. Their Valet service is modernized, allowing you to scan a barcode and text the Valet Stand when you are ready for your car. Their lobby bar is relaxing and has a good selection. Will definitely stay here again.
google avatar

Mr. D.

Yelp
This place is dope! Definitely a date night place. It's still in the theme of the bank that it used to be. The ladies up front were very professional and so were the bartenders. The bar is very upscale with TVs and there is a restaurant downstairs with a reception room in the vault area. The bar is not cheap! Don't look for a free breakfast in the morning....not happening! We ended up with only one washcloth due to two receptions and extra guests staying in the other rooms. The valet drivers could do a better job of showing where to park your car. Just a heads up: valet is $20 and you get taxed district and state tax on the parking. Hustle on, Watermark!
google avatar

Terika S.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel! A perfect little hidden gem in our own backyards! We were thoroughly impressed with our room. It was spacious and gorgeous and It even had a skylight! This was easily one of the best hotels I've visited. The staff was amazing and treated my friends and I like royalty. Mr. Bill is so kind and warm. He took great care of us and made sure that we didn't want for anything. Maurice was another person from the staff that left us with a great impression. He was super sweet and helped us with our many many bags, all while smiling. This staff shows true southern hospitality and that made our stay even greater. We stayed for only one night and this place has left a lasting impression on us. We will definitely be returning.
google avatar

En P.

Yelp
Do not stay here on the weekend or any night there's live music at the bar across the street. The music was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep until after midnight. Then the bar crowd let out and it was noisy again until 2am. Oh and the trash truck stops by at 430 am. So do NOT stay at this hotel if you want to get a good night sleep. If you want to party till 2am then this probably a good place to stumble to and crash. This is an old building and the exterior walls are pretty thin. This makes the noise worse especially on the north side of the building. I don't blame the hotel really, what can they do? But people need to be aware of this.
google avatar

Jeff L.

Yelp
Really nice renovation of the Louisiana Bank building with tons of local highlights. Room we had was fairly small but nice layout and great shower and lighting. The gym was cool and adequate and the service was friendly through out. One area they need to fix badly is the fruit fly issue in the bar. It was out of control and a shame for such a nice new place. We would have stayed at the bar longer if it weren't for the flies. Great lobby bar and restaurant however.
google avatar

Lalo B.

Yelp
Friendly staff. building is beautifully restored in an art deco meets modern look. Only valet parking is available.
google avatar

Brooke E.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed at the Watermark for his 30th birthday. The hotel was very cool. It's sleek and modern, and the decor is gorgeous. Our room had a king sized bed and looked out over a little of downtown. The bed was so comfortable and the blinds let zero light in which was great for sleeping in the morning. The bathroom is next level. It's absolutely worth the whole visit. There's bottled water and a mini fridge in the room, which was nice. We were walking distance to Tsunami, where we had dinner reservations. There's valet parking, but we found street parking, which was very safe and I could see my car from our room. Ask for a room on a high floor so you can see the river. That's my one regret - our room was on the fifth floor so we didn't have much of a view. All in all, it's a great hotel for a cute staycation. We'll be back again.

Clarissa J.

Yelp
One of Marriott best hotels you're greeted with a evening drink. This place is awesome it use to be a bank. The vault is still there. They have a lot of history on it that you can explore while your there and some rooms have a beautiful view. And the restaurant is to die for I think it's so cool how they give you a old library book with you bill that you can sign.

Jason P.

Yelp
Nice hotel. Apparently "luxury" means no amenities. They do advertise air conditioning and I don't think there was an extra charge for that, their website tells you to call for parking options. This options include street parking (if your can find it) or their $40 ( by the time you include taxes/tip) per night valet parking. No breakfast included in their inflated prices.

Yelp
We loved everything about our stay. The front desk staff is an absolute delight. The restaurant was delicious and had a great drink selection. Our room was lovely and the beds were comfortable. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

Yelp
My family and I decided to stay in the hotel and get two rooms for three nights we are absolutely enjoying this the room service the staff has been amazing, my sister Loren recommended we stay here and this place has not let us down the views are awesome the hotel is designed like a industrial contemporary aesthetic which really is a happy medium for a place like this in downtown Baton Rouge I highly recommend the watermark hotel

Yelp
The staff was attentive and polite. The hotel is historical, which is cool. There's lots of nods to it's past life as a bank. The valet situation is cramped because there wasn't anywhere to pull in. We were told to stop in the middle of the road, which was awkward. The room was small, but nicely decorated and appeared clean. One obvious thing to me though... a man definitely designed the interiors. There was no where to put on makeup, which is odd for any hotel these days. If they would add some lighted makeup mirrors I'm sure most female guests would appreciate it. Lastly, the bed was comfy, but killed our backs... beware if you require a firm mattress because these are very soft.

Yelp
This was a weekend getaway to never forget , the food , room , the downtown view, wine and strawberries in the room. The best part was the breakfast in bed special room service . The only place to stay when downtown Baton Rouge.
