The Verdosa in DTLA is a must visit if you are looking for an apartment in downtown LA close to everything including Crypto, LA Live, Whole Foods, restaurants and bars just in walking distance. Upon moving to the Verdosa, the staff is AMAZING! From the front desk concierge, leasing staff, security and management - they all make you feel so welcomed as a new tenant! The amenities of the Verdosa is state-of-the-art especially their new gym downstairs. The pool at night and their patio garden is peaceful and relaxing. I want to thank Martin and his staff for the excellent service and friendliness with their tenants.

I’ve lived at Watermarke for over 2 years now in 2 units and we LOVE IT HERE! Centrally located in downtown, building undergoing an amazing refresh and the management/leasing team is the best we’ve been had! Special shout out to Kyle and Jennifer for helping us with the move into our new apartment. The apartments here are beyond spacious compared to other comparable buildings. George, Javier and their maintenance team are awesome and have been so helpful! We always feel welcome when we come home by front desk…best place to live in downtown, it’s the people that are the extra something that have kept us…well and our view isn’t bad either! 😍

Update: Removing one star because they listed my old apartment for $600 LESS than I was paying. I told them I would stay for $400 less and they said no. So everyone loses. Pros: Management is great (with the exception of one moody front desk person), apartments are very nice, amazing views, awesome gym, nice pool, fun resident activities occasionally. Cons: Thieves wait in the alley for a resident to pull in them follow you into the garage and break into cars. They posted "security" at the gate for a few weeks then stopped. One elevator has been broken down for months. There are two garage entrances: one in the alley and one facing the street. Only the alley is used, which is frustrating sometimes as large trucks frequently park in the alley. Overall this place is great. The only reason I'm leaving is because I had an issue with a neighbor (police had to be called) and management allowed me to move to another unit, but it was $700 more (this all happened fast so I didn't want to find a new building on short notice). I noticed my old apartment was available to rent before the new tenant's lease should be up, so I'm guessing the new tenant also had problems with the neighbor. Then I got a renewal letter with a rent increase. I would have appreciated some kind of discount given the circumstances, but oh well.

If you're looking for a Class-A building in the heart of DTLA, look no further than Watermarke Towers! This building is beautifully designed and professionally managed. The units are spacious with incredible views of the city in every side of the building you're on. Love hanging by the rooftop pool for the sunsets and working by the clubhouse during the day. It's my go-to Zoom background for work calls. The best part of the building are the staff. Everyone from the front desk, maintenance, to management truly care about the building and the residents and are always quick to assist. Maintenance work-orders get done faster than my Uber Eats deliveries. Shout out to Tyler, Kevin, Jennifer, Yvette, Daniel, George, Javier, Carlos, Danny, and everyone. You all rock!

Going on my second year .. the management staff is great... The maintenance is good and the concierge staff is exceptional. I really like it here.

I lived in this place for 1.5 years. Overall it was a decent experience living in the building. But the new management is really bad. The Goods: The location * The building looks pretty nice, has a pool and a gym * Location is good for transit via bus or train in every direction * There are a lot of grocery stores, bars and shops around The Bads: The interior architecture * My side of the building faced another building, so no privacy * There is a 8X8 lintel/pillar right in the middle of the apartment The Uglies: The management * The management took 3 months to return my deposit, and they deducted a hefty amount * The management added late payments even when I paid everything in full way ahead of time. And now they stopped communication * The management gave me a 24 hour notice when the lease was over to decide if I wanted to continue the lease * Takes 3-4 emails to get a response

We stumbled upon this building by accident, and it was love at first sight. Everything about it exceeded our expectations—truly the best place we could have found in LA. The breathtaking view from the panoramic window is simply unbeatable. A huge thank you to Daniel, Angel, and Kevin for making our experience seamless and enjoyable. Just moved in recently and everything about the process was smooth from start to finish. Everyone in the building was super welcoming during the tour—everything looked great and they really took the time to walk me through the space and answer all my questions. The application process was easy and quick, which I really appreciated. I felt informed the whole time, and move-in day went off without a hitch. Shoutout to Martin—he’s been amazing! I had a couple of small things I wanted changed in the apartment after moving in, and he took care of everything really fast and professionally. It made settling in that much easier. Overall, I’ve had a great experience so far and I’m really happy with my new place. Definitely recommend if you’re looking!

Downside was the amount of construction going on. We didn't get a good feel of the building but the apartment was amazing. Great views and layout. Many of the one bedrooms were truly studios but we looked at two bedrooms and really loved them. The amenities aren't great but again lots of changes happening.

I resided at the Watermarke for several years and found it to be a pleasant living environment under the previous management. However, the new management seems indifferent to the residents and the building's overall wellbeing, focusing solely on securing more lease agreements. Consequently, I relocated to Alina, situated directly opposite. During my time at the Watermarke, I observed two instances of dog abuse. Despite reporting these incidents to Animal Control, complete with photos and videos, and directly contacting Watermarke management, there has been no action taken. The dogs are subjected to poor conditions, urinating and defecating indoors daily, and it appears that the Watermarke management remains unconcerned.

Lived here for 3+ years, went through a few different management teams, all were consistently good. The apartments are spacious and fairly modern, the views are undefeated. Would recommend!

George and his team is outstanding, they came to my rescue very quickly when I lost my car key and it saved me $$$ from replacing it from the dealership. George and Tyler were very kind and concerned about my situation and gave me a swift result.

I definitely recommend living here! I've lived at the Watermarke Tower for a little over 3 years now, and have been very happy with the overall experience in that time. The Bozzuto Management company has recently taken over the property, and I am glad to say everything has been for the better. Tyler and Kyle, the new management team, have been extremely pleasant to interface with thus far. My lease renewal period happened to come up just as the transition was taking place, and they both immediately took action to ensure I was taken care. The last thing someone wants is feeling like you are "just a number" at your home, and they have done an excellent job in making sure that isn't the case for me. After touring many properties around DTLA, I immediately found the spacious layouts at Watermarke to be the best for the price points in the area. Putting in a service request for any issues that comes up is an easy and painless process. Typically submitting a request results in the fixes being performed within 24 hours. To date, I have felt safe living here. It is DTLA, there are all walks of life in the city, and accidents can occur anywhere. I feel the team at Watermarke is doing their diligence in making sure all entrances are locked where they need to be, and screening people who do not belong. The only flaw I would have given is to some of the amenity areas, but since Bozzuto has taken over they have started a variety of building renovation projects to freshen the decor of the building to modern standards. George and Javier came to fix my laundry today. They were more than on time, they showed up in 2 minutes after I made a request to fix my leaking laundry machine. They were super nice and helpful. Helped me clean up the mess from laundry. I'm looking forward to seeing them again if I have any other home roster emergencies. George and Javier are the best team. I'm very happy and would recommend them to all my friends and family.
