Waterton Glacier Suites

Hotel is in a great location in Waterton village. Easy walk to general store, shops and restaurants. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We had a balcony room with a nice view of the mountains. There is A/C which as others have noted is loud. Pricey.. but a nice place to stay. We walked to Bertha falls trail which was about a 15 minute walk to entrance.

We definitely will come back; the rooms exceeded my expectations. The only consideration for the future would be to come with a higher clearance vehicle in the winter, as Parks Canada doesn't deem plowing a necessity. I also thought there would be a bath so that was slightly disappointing

We were so pleased with our room. We had a king bedroom suite that was clean and nicely decorated. We appreciated that housekeeping stopped by to ask if we needed anything . The room had nice conveniences like charging stations , microwave, espresso machine, fridge, etc. Bathrooms were well stocked. The desk manager was friendly and helpful. The place had a quiet and calm atmosphere, too!

I stayed 9/6 and 9/7 /25. The check in clerk was horrendous. Worst check in service I have ever received. He was on the phone addressing an issue he said he had with a customer. He was the only one there to wait on us. He kept leaving the desk and coming back. This occurred at least 4 times. This took 15-20 minutes. Every time he came back he apologized with a total lack of sincerity. It was like we weren't even there. 2 other people behind me experienced the same issue and had to wait. Totally unprofessional. Then we he did check us in he offered no local map no list of restaurants to eat at. Just wanted to get rid of us. Location is great in that this is a small town. Room was nice but the air conditioner is extremely loud and really doesn't cool the room. Prior reviews indicate this problem as well. Not a lot of options in this area but I would go elsewhere.

Very nice , with renovated rooms. We had the romantic suite which was nice and roomy and on the top floor. Unfortunately we hit Waterton just after 80% of the businesses closed Sunday for the winter. Was going to stay 2 nights but decided on 1. Wish we hadnt paid 300 a night given everything was closed. Will definitely go back in the spring once everything opens back up.

The problem with this motel is that the room was way too hot. The tiny air-conditioner couldn't cool the room. There was heat coming from the gas fireplace that was not turned on. We had to sleep with our porch door open. Plus the TV didn't work. Management was not helpful. It does have a very nice Italian restaurant on the main floor.

perfect location in town with restaurants, etc a short walk. Great to have a charging station at bedside plus in-room safe, coffee and tea making. Excellent shower with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer and plenty of towels. We had large room on 2nd floor with balcony. Slept with balcony door open every night to enjoy fresh air. No drawers to store clothes but nice sized closet and shelving that sufficed. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Free parking on-site. Comfortable bed with good lighting in the large room.

It was a nice place to stay the staff was really nice and I enjoyed my stay the room was large enough and clean except there was still trash in one of our rubbish bin what was kinda disgusting but the rest looked really nice and the pull out couch was really comfortable compared to other ones I slept in Kanada. The only big problem we had was that the air conditioning was so loud you couldn’t sleep while it was on but without it was so hot that you couldn’t sleep either. In the end we opend the windows over night what wasn’t so nice because we lived on the ground floor and everyone could see us and come in the room if they wanted to.
