Area is very convenient. However there were construction on the side street or I would have given it better rate! Easy check in. Customer service was great! That was a five. Very helpful staff and no nonsense rules. Breakfast area with pastries, didn’t try any they didn’t look inviting. Still a good place to chill. Very comfy beds!!! Clean, free water bottles/can u can recycle/reuse. Walking distance to the U district station. I was on a strict budget and this worked so well. Walking distance to the drumheller fountain/Univ of Washington. Dated but very clean!

Traffic was very heavy getting into Seattle from the south. We arrived early & we wasn’t booked until 4pm. We were allowed in and were able to go to the room, this ended up being a huge benefit to us. Since we had been in traffic for 4+ hours. We needed showers and time to relax. We were able to get dressed for the our formal wedding, then headed out. We returned late and went straight to bed. At first it seemed odd to have a blankets for each side of the bed; BUT WOW! It was very nice to have your own blanket!!! No issues with my blanket hogging sister. We didn’t realize that we could also untuck the sheets, the blanket had a sheet like material and seemed like it was designed to be a top sheet. There were unfamiliar sounds and we’re not from a big city so we turned on the air conditioner, put the fan on constant and slept like babies! We had never seen this type of room before, the layout was very well thought out, closet was easy to access from both sides. Cute small coffee maker. Iron, ironing board. Hand soap & lotion on the wall next to the sink. Shampoo, conditioner and body soap all on the wall in the shower. We were given a water bottle, got the morning drinks and breakfast snacks location. Explained where we could refill water at the purified water station Our stay was a success, we had a wonderful time with friends and family. Our cousin was married in ‘The Ruins’ we had a fantastic time together.

Sam at the front desk was absolutely fantastic. We accidentally booked the wrong stay pineapple and he truly went out of his way to make it right on our mistake. He was very kind and attentive to our dilemma. We love stay pineapple and always stay here whenever we get the chance. An excellent hotel with excellent staff. Thank you, Sam for making a lasting memory on us.

Very clean and affordable. Staff was friendly & helpful! It’s located close to the light rail and was very close to the location for the event that we attended on Lake Union! Most of our family stayed here there are suites and standard rooms so everyone was able to get what they needed. Cafe has good coffee & the market across the street had great sandwiches. Breakfast place down the street was good too!

Google
This was the easiest check in that I've had with them. I've stayed at all the different Pineapple locations in Seattle but this by far was the easiest check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be staying again. The Rooms are very clean, the robes they provided for you to use during your stay where the best. The separate down comforters are always my favorite. The room was very cool and loved that since it was a very warm day.

We stayed here for our niece’s graduation from UW. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We loved how walkable the area was and the campus is gorgeous!! Extra bonus for how dog friendly they are!! We didn’t bring our dog, but loved seeing all of the pups that were staying there!!

Such a cute hotel!! Front desk staff were so friendly and welcoming. Also loved having two separate duvets! The welcome drinks and cookies were a lovely touch.

Google
Super convenient location in Manhattan; close to the subway and bus terminal. Loved the artistic touches throughout, especially the elaborate tile designs. Room was cozy and comfortable. We loved the that we each had our own duvet and received a refillable aluminum water container; also appreciated the hydration station by the front desk so we could refill on water. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Yelp
I was so impressed with this hotel! It was pineapple themed everything, and it was so cute, even the USB charger! They kindly offered us early check in when we arrived at 11am without extra charge. You get a free reusable water bottle and one free alcoholic beverage! Yellow robes are available in the room (also pineapple themed) and they have free pineapple cookies and coffee every day at 3 PM in the lobby. The lobby also has a water station with still, sparkling or hot water so you can refill your water bottle anytime. The dog on the bed was a cute touch. It's for sale $25 which goes to charity.

Yelp
Our stay here was great! It's our go to hotel in Seattle, we have stayed at this one and the one in Belltown. Extras we got: secure parking for $25, dog package for $25 which allows the dog and they provide a clean dog bed, treats, a water bowls, waste page and a container. They also give you complimentary drinks or snacks upon check in. About the dogs: I'm allergic to dogs and I have not had a problem in either of the rooms. One improvement I would say is it would be nice to have a small dog area to use the restroom because it can be challenging to find a spot on the streets of Seattle. The staff has been great, rooms are clean, reasonable prices and lots of little things they have thought of to make the stay more enjoyable. 10/10 recommend. P.s. if you're wondering about the "pineapple" aspect, there's no indication of that here.

Stayed here for 2 nights when visiting the university. Excellent staff and good value.

Yelp
I stayed here for a business trip and really enjoyed my stay. The bed was opulent and, though I was traveling alone, I loved the option of separate duvets for each side of the bed. The bathroom was also really nice. Room was very clean although when walking around the room with white socks, my socks did get very dirty. Great closet space and comes with everything you could possibly need for a trip. I also liked the complimentary beverage coupons. Would stay again!

Yelp
Amazing customer service! Julia who welcomed us at front desk was very helpful and caring. When i provided my bio info for check in, Julia noticed that it was my birthday week. After checking in I went out for dinner and when i came back to the room there's surprise gifts and a card! I have never found this much of caring at any other hotels. This is truly amazing experience. I'm very happy that I chose to stay at Stayinpineapple. Moreover the hotel itself is well maintained and clean, located in center of University district close to downtown Seattle. Its parking is gated so you don't need to worry about break in.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I stayed here to attend a concert at the Neptune Theater a block away. It was the perfect location to walk to the theater and there were a lot of nearby restaurants and bars as well. We loved our stay for the most part. We received excellent customer service, free parking, nice amenities (the pineapple shaped sugar cookies were absolutely delicious). We loved the free drink coupon, which we used on a great tasting local beer. We thought the rates were a bit high for the size of the room. Our view was of a wall and some windows to the apartment next door. We also did not love the individual comforters they provide. I would much rather sleep next to my guy instead of being wrapped up in my own blanket on my side of the bed. I can say that it is probably easier for them to wash, so I can appreciate that as they did smell fresh and clean. The hotel was very clean and modern. Every staff member we encountered went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. If we are ever in need of a hotel room near the Neptune, we would stay here again as a treat.

Yelp
After a very pleasant stay at the Staypineapple in downtown Portland, I decided to book a 6 night stay at this location. (There's another one literally one block away, but this one seemed nicer) I booked through their website and got a special February "bark and park" promotion with waived pet fees and half off parking. But they still charge the nightly amenity/resort fee. This gives you a couple drink tokens and free bottled water throughout the stay. Check in was a little choppy, but overall had a very nice stay. Clean hotel, a huge king suite. I love the bedding, and that you can feel perfectly fine leaving your dog behind in the room when you explore, just hang up the door hanger. Some of the room decor felt dated, but not a big deal. Cleaning was a bit confusing. They said they don't do every morning and that I needed to schedule. I scheduled it for the 3rd morning, half way through my stay, but they still knocked every morning anyway. They have a roomy and cozy cafe with coffee and pastries, but pretty limited selection aside from all the syrups. It's across the street from a mini mart, a block from a little park for the pups, and walking distance to plenty of food options (though you'll have to wade through a sea of university kids on the way). Don't worry though, it's super quiet. Underground parking was always a breeze; most of the spots are tight, but if you're lucky you can grab one of the oversized spots for SUVs. They also provide umbrellas to borrow when you're out in the mist. Overall very kind staff and nice property with a good safe location. Certainly not cheap, and despite a couple minor hiccups, no reason why I wouldn't stay here again.

Yelp
I've spent my entire corporate life staying in corporate brands all over the world. I picked the Watertown for it's proximity to UW for a campus visit. We had a great, albeit brief stay. The staff was always helpful and cheerful. I found the room clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the boutique feel and quirkiness. It was homier and better appointed than the competing Hilton and Marriott brand places. I'll definitely look for this brand in my future travels.

Yelp
Keep READING! Accidentally drove a block down to the Inn and realized we had driven past our booked hotel at Waterown. Upon arrival, Julia was THEE most kind receptionist i've EVER had the pleasure of experiencing in the Freemont area, let alone King County. She was not only professional, but she was inviting, kind, hospitable, and educational about the amenities that Pineapple allows. She asked questions that were pertinent to our stay, and we really appreciated her genuine care for our comfort. Julia curated a stay off the bat, and that is so rare when coming to the city. Julia herself is the absolute blueprint of a personable experience. She IS the reason I'll be booking this hotel in the future.

Yelp
My son and I had a very pleasant stay at this modern and well-appointed hotel during our visit. All the furniture, from the beds in the room to the sofas in the lounge area was great. Our comfortable corner room also had a view of the Space Needle. It's a convenient location for visiting the U, and the customer service was above and beyond.

Yelp
I'm skipping my usual format because I was really impressed by this place! It's witty, well-designed, & overall just fun. Great execution on theme with incredibly fast Wi-Fi, & a (literal) overload of amenities. This is my 60th hotel stay this year (@mrstaycation) & it's the first time I could visibly & tangibly experience how the resort fees are being used-- A+. I didn't like the layout of my room (especially the path from the work desk to the bathroom) & the TV is smaller than the norm but I think there are renovations underway as well. Highly recommend. Yelp
My kids and I stayed at Watertown for five days in June 2024. And Julia Roberts, the front desk agent is the reason I'm writing this review because she single handedly made our stay the most memorable. First, she's beautiful and had the most infectious smile. And her customer service skills are top-notch - from the way she greeted us when we arrived, giving me suggestions of everything we can do locally to knowing what an exhausted mama of two needed the most (engaging my hyper kids!). Throughout our stay, we loved stopping by the front desk to chat with Julia and kids loved asking her endless questions. In short, this hotel is very very fortune to have Julia be the first person guests meet when they walk in. Thank you Julia! We're already looking forward to our next stay later this year, cheers!

Yelp
Very cute boutique type hotel. Friendly staff. We arrived early and they checked our bags for us. We were able to check in a few hours early as well. Clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. The elevator is extremely slow- but it was okay. Pineapples right down to the wrapped toilet paper. Love the location. Close to UW and Portage Bay. Complementary beverage or snack when we checked in. Unlimited coffee/tea in the room. If you run out of free bevs call the front desk they will bring some up to you + anything else you need (fee associated) great service! Cute little cookies in the afternoon shaped like pineapple. A must try.

Yelp
The staff is very nice and the place is clean. Beds are comfy with luscious duvets and plenty of cushy pillows. There are two duvets side by side on the bed, great if your partner tends to hog covers, not so great if they slide off the side of the bed in the night. The internet and TV work well. There's a button on the phone marked EVERYTHING so no need to read an instruction card to get help. Cable connections are easy - on the bedside lamps and four more on the Pineapple stand. Bikes are available for free and the location is excellent, with scores of varied cuisines just a block or three away. Some of the rooms are spacious and very comfortable, though the one we had most recently was cramped and the shower floor had a surprising amount of black mold. In the past year we've stayed several times, and we've seen things going downhill a bit. The adorable pineapple shaped cookies are about half size now, but they're individually wrapped and given generously (at the lobby desk), which is very much appreciated.. Dog biscuits are in the lobby also and there's a video on groom TV intro showing staff feeding, walking and grooming a guest dog while the family is out shopping. It's a cute video, though none of those services are available, free or otherwise. There used to be door hangers guests could place alerting staff a pet was alone in the room "my family is out; please come back later" but those have quietly disappeared. Bottled water is free in the lobby and now comes in reusable metal bottles - a great change from one time use plastic bottles. Room prices are often fairly reasonable. On the down side: Room 208 is one of the cramped rooms and it's accessible with a walk in shower. But I would have had a tough time moving around in that small space during my wheelchair days. We were put in the accessible room without having been asked if we wanted it (we didn't), and there is an extremely bright large light right outside the window that defied even the blackout curtains. Between the glare and the loud air conditioning, sleep was near impossible. If we go back we will be sure to avoid that uncomfortable room.

Yelp
A very fun location, we were able to walk over to campus and check it out. As well as walk around to different shops in the area. The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. ANd, although I wasn't happy with the required "resort fees" it reminded me of being in Vegas, it was really worthwhile and I felt well taken care of. ANd, I also loved the dog package, that was really sweet, and my doge liked it too!

Excellent service and also the rooms are spacious and very nice. The attention to pets is spectacular.

Yelp
This was one of the cleanest and quietest hotels I have ever stayed in. The bedding and towels smelled so fresh and clean. The room contained robes, bottled water, real glasses and cups (not cheap papercups), keurig with tea and coffee pods. They are included in your amenities and you can request more if needed. The soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom dispensers smell soooooo good! The bedding was not typical of other hotels. I stayed in a king suite and the bed had two huge, fluffy duvets..... one for EACH person, so you don't have to fight for the covers! It felt like I was sleeping on a cloud and covered with a cloud! Each room has a cute little stuffed dog that barks when you squeeze him.... they are available for purchase and a portion of the cost goes to animal rescue. I also felt safe in this hotel. It has an underground parking garage and the gate only opens with your room key, so you don't need to worry about any outsiders or a homeless person messing with your vehicle. The hotel elevator will only work with your room key as well, another safety feature to keep outsiders from entering the hotel halls. This hotel was so quiet, I stayed two nights and never heard any talking or TVs through the walls or doors slamming in the hall. In the afternoon, the lobby has free pineapple infused water and cute individually wrapped pineapple sugar cookies. It is within walking distance to other eateries and the Neptune Theater. Front desk staff as well as cleaning staff were all super friendly. For breakfast, the pineapple cafe sells breakfast sandwiches and pastries, and if you are a guest, you get 20% off. If you want cleanliness and a quiet place to stay, this is the place!

Yelp
We loved our stay! Myself, my husband, and a 1 year old. - Crib was provided. The only thing is that it is actually the size of a mini-crib. It is NOT a standard size crib, nor is it a pack-n-play. I think a lot of hotel staff (whom I spoke with prior to arrival), use these terms interchangeably. They are not interchangeable. Next time, I would just bring my own appropriately sized sleeping area for my toddler. - Clean room and cozy sheets! Thought the two duvets per bed was a little strange, and I would have preferred a single large one, but to each their own! - We were put in an ADA friendly room, which is typically fine. But the shower situation was not great. I am 5'4" and I had to "sorority squat" under the shower head, as it did not raise up any higher. Maybe install a second shower head that is higher and fixed to the wall? - Great walking distance to the main University street with all the food. Great walking distance to UW campus. - I liked the safety feature of having to scan your room key to access the floors with hotel rooms, either by elevator or stairs. - The pineapple cookies are really yummy! Thanks for a great stay!

Yelp
WOW WOW WOW!! The booking ad does not do this hotel justice! We will be searching out Stay Pineapple Hotels here on out. The amenities are exceptional for a budget hotel. Doesn't really even seem like a budget hotel! $10 credit daily for snacks, robes in the room, unlimited water bottles/coffee, the BED (OMGSH!! THE BED!!), the bedding, the layout of the room, fluffy big towels, hot shower, large windows, free bike rentals, free umbrellas, friendly staff, etc. This place is a winner!!!!!! The best!!

Yelp
The hotel and room were nice, no frills nor amenities or luxuries that felt like it was a place to hang out and pamper yourself. The staff were super friendly and that's what earns it * * * * four stars. The location is walking distance for University Ave (U-Dub campus) and lots of places to go out and eat at on University Ave, and public transportation is easy to access from here as well.

Yelp
What a bad night at this hotel. I cant go as low as a 1 star because the staff are generally friendly and the room was clean. Other than that what a horrible night. The insulation between floors does not exist so you can hear the steps of those above you. The bed is harder than concrete, my back still hurts 2 days later. The overwhelming amount of stuff they are trying to sell you in the room is a bit like sleeping in a store. Then they charge you $20 for some cheap water and the use of a coffee. There is no way to opt out of this fee if your not going to use the wifi or drink there water. Overall just a horrible night that I don't see myself ever repeating.

Yelp
We got an amazing deal when we stayed here on a recent trip to Seattle by calling directly to book. Check-in was easy, the front desk people were nice. I liked the location in UW, near many bus lines that take you to Ballard or downtown, and near the Burke-Gilman bike trail (east takes you through UW, west takes you to Fremont and Ballard past Gas Works Park). I was able to take the light rail from the airport to UW, then took a bus to the hotel. Positives + The 2 Queen room was spacious enough for 3 plus my mom's bicycle. + Closet can be opened from bedroom or bathroom - clever design! Comes with 1 pineapple yellow bathrobe. + Unlimited bottled water, pineapple water, cookies, coffee in the lobby. + Handy in-room fridge and microwave. + Wifi was good! Negatives - I hated the split comforter, it kept falling off the bed and was too small to cover me (and I am 5 ft, 120 lbs). - The $10 daily snack credits don't go very far - $6 for a can of cold brew? At least it's near boba, cafes, restaurants, CVS, and Target. - The rental bikes are heavy cruisers with 3 gears that aren't great on Seattle's hills and rental helmets are either Large Adult or Small Child.

Yelp
I was scheduled for surgery at UW Medical Center and booked a room at this hotel due to its location near the Medical Center. It turned out to be one of the nicest places I've stayed, and I do a lot of traveling. The hotel was modern, very attractive, spotlessly clean, and the service was exceptional. All requests were immediately fulfilled and everyone, especially Sam, was so friendly and helpful. Its location was convenient to restaurants and shops; there was even a free shuttle to the Medical Center just blocks away that dropped you at the Center within a few minutes. There was also a mini-cafe on the premises for a quick breakfast or snack. I wasn't on this trip for fun, but the hotel turned out to be the delightful part of it. I really loved it!

Yelp
What could have turned into a very prickly pineapple experience was smoothed out in no time. Our family of 4 arrived for a 4 night stay and the room that was booked was only for 2 people. The front desk women were so friendly, non flustered and moved things around to get us a bigger room. Things I loved about this hotel: -The shower had large wall mounted shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. No tiny plastic bottles that run out! -Near the sink-Soap and lotion dispensers. Loved that. -Microwave and Refrigerator made keeping dinner left overs easy. -Very cozy comforter/duvets, comfy beds and pillows. -Daily mini pineapple cupcakes and pineapple water in the lobby. Things that I thought were great, but then not really: -Unlimited bottled water and unlimited K cups of coffee. YES! but you pay $20 plus tax per night as an amenity fee. BOO! -Underground parking was great, but $20 a night. Blergh One other blah note: Hotel was quiet, but we could hear the person above us walking around late at night and early morning. Let's end on a high note: even though we had to walk 1 block to use the outdoor pool at the sister hotel-it was great for our son. He loved it.

Scott G.

Yelp
Hotel basic but ok. They have coffee and water (expected at any hotel in 2023) available for guests and bikes available if you want one (who really needs a bike when staying in a hotel). The best part of the hotel is the surprise you'll get when you notice that theyve added a $19 daily charge for the water and coffee. I guess they consider themselves a resort because they have an elevator, a front desk, and a coffee machine in guest rooms. Not impressed by this business decision.

Yelp
Great hotel right next to UW. Very large rooms, with robes provided. Also, great little add-ons like daily cookies, dog treats, and $10 credit for drinks and snacks. Staff was very polite, friendly, and helpful.

Yelp
I loved loved loved my stay at Watertown Hotel this past weekend. I was in town for work and only needed a room for a night, but my little over 24 hour experience at this hotel was by far one of the best hotel stays I've ever had. And that's saying a lot! A few things that I absolutely loved: + First things first. The beds. The duvets. The pillows. I did not want to leave my bed at all. I was seriously contemplating on taking one of their duvets home with me because I loved it so much. How can a duvet achieve such perfect burrito wraps and how does it get so fluffy?! When I got home and bundled myself up in my own duvet, it just really wasn't the same and it made me really sad. Watertown, please tell me how I can get my own?! + This bathroom set up. I'm not sure how it is in other rooms, but my room had a cool little entrance way that led to the bathroom and had a door which separated the toilet and shower. + The amazing, amazing floor to ceiling mirrors, that were perfect for getting ready with. + The even more amazing vanity lights. Seriously. How do I get vanity lights like these in my home? No shame, but I had a selfie photo shoot under these lights because the lighting was just so on point. #millenialprobs + The pineapple cafe. I was able to grab a coffee here on my last morning and it was delicious! + They provide unlimited water, coffee (with a keurig) and popcorn in your room. + The wifi was super strong and very easy to connect to. I had no issues with the wifi at all during this trip. + Every staff member I encountered were SO kind and friendly. From the front desk receptionists to the baristas to the cleaning crew, everyone was wonderful! Seriously, I don't think I've met friendlier hotel staff. + They have a cupcake happy hour where they serve pineapple cupcakes. On theme, how cute! + Did I mention that the hotel is pineapple themed? I love pineapples. And I loved this pineapple theme. + The shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap that was provided in room. Wow. I usually bring my own shampoo/conditioner on trips, but during this trip I used the hotels just because I loved the smell so much! Tommy Bahama's Exotic Coral - I need more of that in my life! + The location. It's located at the center of university district, so there are a ton of coffee shops, restaurants and bars scattered all over the place. I'm not sure why some reviews are saying that there aren't a lot of options close by because when I hopped on Yelp to find a place to eat, the options were endless! Overall, I had the most wonderful stay at Watertown and would happily be back again. Sooner, rather than later, hopefully!

Yelp
I stayed here for four nights because I had business in the area. The rooms are nice and quite spacious; plus very clean! All rooms have a microwave, fridge, and a Keurig coffee maker. Also, this is strictly a non-smoking hotel. The gentleman that checked me in on Oct. 6 was friendly and made me feel welcome. You can park in the underground secured parking garage for $20 a night with in and out access. The parking price is steep but better than downtown Seattle where many of the hotels charge $40 a day for parking; which is ridiculous. This location is close to the University of Washington Medical Center and UW school; the hotel offers free shuttle service. I will return again and recommend it for anyone that needs to stay in the U District of Seattle.

Yelp
If only they had invested in people skills for the staff we would have had a better customer experience. We arrive 15 minutes before the official check in time of 4:00 PM and were told our room wasn't ready. I asked if we could have another room as we had been traveling for several hours to reach the hotel. We were told no rooms were ready at (3:45PM). I asked how long it would take before our room was ready and the desk clerk began rambling about all the things he had to do to ensure our room was ready. After his rambling dissertation concluded I asked him again how long it would take so that we might make plans like go grab an early dinner etc. The clerk said it would take about 10 minutes and we could wait in the lobby. At precisely at 4:00 PM Jason the desk clerk informed us that our room was ready. To make up for us having to wait we were giving a room on the second floor adjacent to the elevator and overlooking the trash dumpsters.(noisy all night.) On the positive side, our room had a beautiful view of a better hotel. It wasn't a Staypinapple hotel so we'll try that one next time. The beds don't have sheets and blankets. The beds have a bottom sheet and a duvet. The duvet was heavy and way too hot so we had to run the very noisy a/c all night long. I'm not sure why hotels have started charging amenity fees it seem so cheap. Just raise the rate $20.00 I wasn't planning on swimming in the pool at a nearby hotel in April anyway. The company seems to have put a great deal of effort into trying to create a fun and pleasant hotel. If they had only spent more time training the staff in people skills. Would it have been all that difficult to give a guest their room 10 minutes before the check in time? Seems kind of petty but then so did the $20.00 amenity fee. Someone else posted here that the bicycles are free to use. They are free to use after you pay the amenity fee. We were contacted by Ryan the hotel manager who apologied for our experience. As a show of good faith, Ryan refunded us both the amenity and parking fees. Thank you Ryan.

Yelp
Stayed here for a few nights with my mom and fell in love! The modern feel is so nice. It's completely minimalistic, and neat. Everything had it's place, the drawers concealed in the dual-sided wardrobe, yes. The window design was perfect for natural light, and the lighting over the vanity area/full size mirror was really flattering. The walls were kind of thin at times. There was a message left for the previous guest from three days ago... But everything else far outshined the cons. I wish I could have adopted Fluffy the sweet husky on my bed, but thankfully he is online for purchase. I love that such a concept exists, and that proceeds benefit a local shelter. I look forward to returning to the Watertown again, and again.

Yelp
I stayed here for a night. It's a clean and modern. Located in the university area of Seattle, away from the downtown core. A relatively quiet location with a Trader Joe's within walking distance, about 5 mins. Yeah, I went there too. Complimentary wifi, no password required, complimentary secured parking at the time of writing this, this was win win. Pricing was comparable to the Moore Hotel in Downtown Seattle, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

Yelp
There are rules of customer service that are not taught in training manuals or classrooms. It comes with experience and common sense. This hotel has a very young staff at the front desk and they seem very pleasant in greeting and thanking the guests for staying with them. But once you ask them for something that's out of the norm they are very quick to tell you that it can't be done! I've stayed in Seattle 3 times since last September, 3 different hotels, 3 nights at each. I've also stayed at 5 other hotels outside of Washington during COVID each for 3-4 nights for business. My daughter goes to UW so I expect to come back here 2-3 times a year for the next 3 years to visit her. This hotel and another one are the only 3 star decent hotels near campus. So choices are limited if you want to stay close to campus. Back to why I'm giving this hotel a 2 star. Yesterday I asked a housekeeping person on our floor to clean my room and he nicely told me to ask front desk. I went to the lobby asked the 2 nice young front desk people to have my room cleaned, they politely asked how long am I staying with the hotel and I said 3 nights. They told me we only clean the room after 3 nights of stay, which means tomorrow on my check out day. I explained that I'd like my room cleaned at least one night during my 3 nights stay and they both told me that "they can't do it". And they also said that they are understaffed so to COVID and they can't accommodate my request. I brought up the number of hotels I've stayed at during COVID, since they all had the same cleaning policies, but all the other hotels had an experienced front desk person that understood the value of customer service even though it was not their current policy, and all 7 hotels had accepted my simple request of cleaning my room once during my stay. And neither of them told me that they are understaffed due to COVID, which I'm pretty sure they were. I understand that this hotel is trying to target a younger more hip demographic with their branding, messaging, their daily offerings and young staff. I just want to let the management know that having a couple of experienced front desk people who understand the values of customer service beyond daily greetings would benefit this hotel immensely. Also, if you are understaffed do not overbook your rooms, loss of future income trumps todays earnings. My review could've easily been a 5 star if my request of cleaning my room was accepted and I wasn't told to bring my entire room trash and leave it behind my door. I read other reviews for this hotel and every single one has been responded by a general manager, good and bad! That's why I wrote such a long review in hopes that the manager will read this and talk to the young inexperienced staff members and give them a few pointers in customer service that is not written in their training manual: 1.You don't tell a customer you can't do something due to COVID, you try to accommodate most reasonable requests. 2. You never tell a customer you are understaffed, makes the hotel management look awful since they know the number of guest coming in days in advance.

Yelp
I have stayed here for quite a long time during the COVID pandemic, really enjoyed everything in this hotel. It locates in the center of the U district, within walking distance to UW and the medical resource, and grocery stores such as Trader Joe's and Target. Super friendly staffs, Lucas, Ryan, and the team treat every customer as their own family and be offering as much help as they can in this challenging period. Highly recommend.

Yelp
It would be nearly impossible to forget what hotel you're staying at. Watertown has almost as much swag as UW, and that's saying something! From the k-cups and coffee mugs to your blanket, pillow, slippers and robe, you'll have the Watertown logo emblazoned. I've been trying to find the right place to stay close to the university when I discovered that downtown just isn't convenient, even though it does have much nicer properties. Watertown is my second university close hotel I've tried (the other being Silver Cloud) and there are some notable differences: BREAKFAST IS NOT INCLUDED - Honestly, this was not a big deal for me. Silver Cloud is not as close to the Ave that's lined with so many great locally owned cafe options. So even if Watertown would have offered breakfast, I likely would have still gone out. SHUTTLE - While both properties offered a shuttle, I was not able to utilize the one at Watertown. Trying multiple times, as much as 30 hours in advance, we were still not able to get a reservation at our desired time. My previous trip staying at Silver Cloud was during a completely sold out time and we were still able to use their shuttle service without issue. ROOMS - I stayed in a King Studio Suite at Watertown and a King Mini-Suite at Silver Cloud. While the other property had the convenience of a separate bedroom (as opposed to one large room with a living room area), the room at Watertown felt more like a loft (wood floor, roman shades, a closet with drawers as opposed to a dresser) and less like a motel room. I will say, the bed at the other hotel was more comfortable overall and the no sheet thing but individual duvets at Watertown was just weird (I ended up requesting a sheet because the duvet was just too damn hot on its own and I'm ALWAYS cold). I was on the 2nd floor at Watertown and would definitely request a higher floor and different facing room in the future. 217 is overlooking the alley and below the trash trucks which come at 6am (multiple mornings of my stay). So in short, I normally would prefer the separate area and more comfortable bed, but happened to prefer the Watertown room overall, even with the noise inconvenience. LOCATION - This is tough. Silver Cloud is right down the street from University Village, an upscale (for Seattle) outdoor shopping mall with nice-r restaurants and shops. Watertown is closer to the Ave, the UW campus and the dorms. It's not impossible to walk to the farther locations from either property but they are about a mile further. SECURITY - Watertown is very secure. You must have a key to enter the property (from 10pm to 6am I think) and a key to push a floor button in the elevator. PRICE - Silver Cloud felt like a motel to me. While the lobby was nice, the elevator and hallways were dark and dreary. Watertown has a hipper, more modern vibe, yet offered better rates on this visit and the w future trips I have planned. INTERNET - As other Yelpers have mentioned, the internet is problematic. It's complimentary, but choose the high speed option and call down to the front desk if it hasn't improved. I did and they were able to change something on their end that made a world of difference. It's not a 5, but out of the properties within a mile of University District, Watertown is my current go to hotel.

Yelp
no bar or restaurant. couldnt find much within walking distance to the hotel (no car). we found the location inconvenient. the hotel is clean and new-looking. the front desk staff were helpful. would have preferred it if the hotel had a restaurant.

Yelp
Watertown Hotel is a fancy Motel 6. Looks cute, service is good but the rooms aren't very nice. One positive is the have good cookies in the lobby.

Yelp
Front desk: We arrived early from San Francisco and called to see if we were able to check in early around 10am and we were delighted when we were told that it'd be no problem! The front desk made it easy to reserve shuttle service. Shuttle: BEST SERVICE! Adi and Julio were our drivers and they were so positive and kind during our 4 day stay. Both men gave excellent recommendations and advice on how to navigate the city. If we reserved earlier in the day and they were not busy, we would get dropped off directly to our destination, instead of the shuttle stops. So glad that this amentity was offered because parking seemed like it would have made our trip tough with the lack of parking/cost. Room: We booked a 2 queen bed room. Let's start with the bed. There were 4 pillows on each bed which was great because there were both firm/plush pillows. The duvet covers were very comfortable and plush! The heating/cooling unit worked really well! I like to cool the room fresh while I dry my hair and the unit definitely kept it nice and fresh in the room. A Keurig w/ 4 pods, two bottles of water, popcorn, slippers and the use of a robe were all complimentary! Toiletries were also provided in our room (lotion, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner and body soap). In the room for purchase was Dash, the Pineapple Pup and a snack box filled with various goodies. Breakfast/snacks/cafe: Water and coffee were provided throughout the day. Pastries and croissants were served in the morning and from 3-7, pineapple cupcakes are served in the lobby. The cafe was closed during our stay, I'm not sure if pastries are still provided during its opened hours. Location: Across the street is Trinity Market which also has a deli. The hotel is walking distance from places to eat, 30 minutes from SeaTac Airport and about a 10 minute drive from downtown. Again, the shuttle and public transportation makes it really easy to get around town. Overall: This probably will not be the last time that we stay with StayPineapple! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were very pleased with the services we received. Thank you Watertown!

Yelp
Awesome service and great location! I travel a lot and manage a sales team who travels too and I really appreciate knowing my student has such a great team of people, especially Ryan the GM at Stay Pineapple, Watertown, to help us out. Especially during these trying times. It is our absolute "GO TO" for visiting UW for easy and super convenient access to Seattle too! Thanks Ryan, Jason and the whole team at the Watertown location for STELLAR Customer Service!!!

Yelp
UPDATE: Thank you for reaching out, Ryan. Good to know you will be using this information. And thank you for the 100.00 back on my card. ***** If this hotel steps up and makes it right, I will change this rating, this was the most stressful stay of any hotel ever, we are literally world travelers and as an Alaskan, we've used Seattle for everything and know it very well. Traveling from our Lake of the Ozarks home to assist my daughter through her surgery, we chose a hotel that boasted a shuttle and nice amenities... Here's our experience: Promised rate: 102.00, plus 20.00 amenities...Booking agent adds in "looks like you get one night free, great thank you. Call and verify, same. I get to Seattle call and verify "yes everything is fine, we have notes you are at the hospital with your daughter, late check in. NOTE: MY reservation, NOT my ex husband, took forever to untangle that one!! Wednesday, 4 days away from the holiday, no streaming, sensor is busted. "Sorry it's Christmas we can't fix it" (Christmas is almost a week away, what?) me "I have a fresh out of surgery daughter who cannot be moved around, front desk "ok. We will waive the amenities charge" well, after I had to go to front desk when they said my reservation was good through that night, I'd never be checking out that night with my daughter fresh out of surgery with a large abdominal incision....by then I thought it was like a bad movie...Jason at front desk was kind enough to apologize for what was believed to be the manger "I apologize for her being so rude to you"....message to said manager, Please find another occupation or take some Human Resources classes...you're terrible and seemed to enjoy throwing up blocks..shame on you. Added charges to room by me (paying guest) one charge of wine. ONE Charge our ENTIRE stay. Where'd my 102.00 per night rate go? Where's the waiving of amenities here? We'll save the marketing smoke and mirrors stories if you stand by what you have done here. Again, way too much stress from your manager, did not waive amenities charge, did not charge appropriate room rate of 102.00, did not apply the stay one night free promotion, one time charge of wine only, yet it's a plethora of crazy unknown charges here. My husband will be calling as I just can't deal with you anymore. If this is not resolved, I am so upset with the treatment and incorrect charges, if you don't make this right I am literally ready to go to the mat here because of a week of hell with you people. Good thing my daughter caught all the charges you put on HER card...double billing of 2 nights and strange 50.00 charges X's 2. You fix this and I'll change this, in the meantime, theres got to be many who don't have Yelp, and many who just wanted to get away and forget their experiences here. I will represent them all.... A cigarette butt remained on the 2nd floor, by the elevator the entire week. I bet it's still there. Please don't respond with your automated "we strive to do our best...." UPDATE: They will not make this right, way to go Watertown. My sweet kind husband "Boy, these guys are sooo sneaky and shady, I would never ever stay there again".... Shame on you, you are giving the hospitality pineapple a very bad name.....avoid this place!! You'll need therapy after they work you over. Unbelievable, absolutely unbelievable...... also, Train your staff in conflict resolution...not how to be rude and sneak expenses on to your bill....you'll never bully me again. Even front desk staff felt the need to say "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry she was so rude to you..." Even the staff was appalled.....And clearly embarrassed. There's much better places to stay. Don't be fooled, they look great on paper. Smoke and mirrors is how we heard people around the hotel describe their stay. Even other guests were "have you seen the dirty hallways? Grab a wash cloth and run it across a pinch of your floor in your room, it's filthy"....someone said we should Name the cigarette filter (butt) that lives on the 2nd floor by the elevator...it wasn't funny anymore so we didn't. They have no interest in making anything right on your final bills. Save yourself the grief. There's better folks out there running better hotels. Marketing tricks in play here big time.....as mentioned in other reviews as well. No one will make this right at that hotel. They don't care about guests, in fact, you're not a guest here. You're a dollar sign that they don't care about, they just proved it. I was going to change my review if they stepped up, they won't fix this so this review stands. Except the staff watching the manger blow me off and remove one day's amenities...while we had no tv abilities, when she said she'd waive the charges for the stay as a sorry Christmas is a week away and we can't fix it because we don't want to and laughing that she knew she'd only do one day. Well played. Well played Watertown...

Yelp
Couldn't be happier about our stay here! Came up to Seattle for my husbands big 40 bday. Great location- close enough to quick drive into downtown and walking distance from food spots when we just felt like hanging around. The staff was so helpful and accommodating! Made great recommendations and even had a shuttle service to take you to different attractions. The hotel was super clean and the staff was amazing. When we first arrived I accidentally dropped my car keys in the elevator and they slipped down the shaft. I was devastated!! The staff went into high gear and got every maintenance person there. They even made a trip to hardware store and maguyver'd a contraption to get my keys. All the while the staff was offering me snacks and water to keep me calm and assured me they would do whatever they needed to get them out. (Mind you I'm super pregnant and in tears!!) thank you to all the staff and maintenance team at this hotel!! They really took care of us and we would recommend this place to anyone. They were also so great with my son! They made him feel so special every time we even walked by the desk and gave him coloring books and had cupcakes out. He keeps talking about how much fun he had at stay-pineapple :) thanks again!! We would absolutely stay here again!!

Yelp
Great hotel, I love that the beds come with two individual comforters that you know have been washed (makes sharing a bed that much more comfy). I thought the rooms were a nice size and clean and the staff was friendly. My only cons were that there's no complimentary breakfast and while there's a shuttle that goes downtown, the times are very limited. We went by the desk around 9am to reserve seats and our only options were to go downtown at 10:30 and the only return time was 4:30 which didn't work for our schedule. I would have hoped it would run more often. But its a clean and comfortable hotel for a good value.

Yelp
We ended up at this hotel at the last second when another hotel we booked had no a/c and no parking. The hotel staff welcomed us and were very kind and friendly which was so appreciated after a long flight, car ride and terrible experience at a previous hotel. We got lucky and got a corner room. Now I will say that the shower curtain was ripped and needed to be replaced, and I was not a fan of the provided soap, shampoo dispensers. But the room was spacious, and made great use of the space with lots of room for three of us to unpack our things. We also appreciated the coupon for 1 free drink each, the cookies and the unlimited bottles of water. In the 90degree plus heat wave, those waters were much appreciated. They do have a small coffee bar/ cafe downstairs and the first morning they did not have any food which was disappointing but there is a small market just across the street that had everything we could need. The location is general was close to University Ave and the freeway. We are very thankful to the reservations staff and lobby staff for helping us with a great stay.

Yelp
I had the pleasure of working with Watertown/Pineapple Hospitality over the past several months to secure a room block for our wedding. The sales managers I worked with were responsive and helpful & even comped our parking! When I checked in the night before, our room was decorated with flower petals and they even left champagne for us! What a special surprise. Our guests loved the hotel and the 'Naked experience'. Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
The BEST hotel experience in a long time. Lucas and his team keep that hotel Clean, Safe, and make sure Customer service is their top priority !! The parking garage was safe and secure and easy to access !! Many great restaurants within walking distance !! Thank you Lucas for making my 3 year old daughter feel special as you listen to her dog stories !!

Yelp
When we first entered the hotel, the first thing I noticed was the pineapple decor, it was everywhere! When we went to our room we were greeted by Dash the stuffy husky with a adorable pineapple hat! When we looked around we saw the pineapple decor, it was fabulous! Everywhere was spotless! And the bed was so comfy! With such a low price I suggest this hotel to everyone!

Yelp
I'm a student at UW, and my mom ALWAYS stays here whenever she's in town. She raves about the place. I stayed with her this time and now I can see why... the staff at the desk couldn't be nicer, the room is great, the beds are comfy, we've got a microwave to heat up takeout, and there are bikes that are free to rent. It doesn't get better!

Yelp
This place is part of the Pineapple Group that has the awesome Hotel Z in San Diego under its umbrella. They have the yellow bike rentals just like Hotel Z in addition to the Tommy Bahama soap, shampoo and shower gel dispensers and the same very helpful and friendly customer service from the staff. They have a shuttle that gets you to most of the touristy spots, but you have to reserve and if you plan on going somewhere in the am, its best to reserve as early as you can as it fills up quick due to the fact only 6 people can fit on the bus. The shuttle service ends pretty early around 4PM. There is a city bus stop across the street from the hotel as well so you can use that as an alternative to the shuttle. the bus ride is maybe 25 minute ride to let you off not far from the Space Needle and other touristy areas. Our room was a very nice size and gave us a very nice view out on Roosevelt Way. The room came equipped with robes, slippers, dual duvets on each bed and a nice sized TV. There is a small restaurant downstairs that serves a pretty decent breakfast. They also have pineapple flavored water along with mini cupcakes when you first walk into the front door. Good hotel that is located very close to the University of Washington campus.

Yelp
Loved this hotel!!! Stayed here for two nights in November 2014 for my birthday extravaganza. Had to knock out a star due to parking. It's tight gated parking garage and we had rented an SUV... Aside from that I enjoyed my stay here. Their complimentary mini cupcakes were my favorite!!! I think they were pineapple flavored with a hint of coconut. They also offered fruit infused water. Their lobby area is pretty great. I remember one night in Seattle my friends and I had a pig out session. It was the best. Checked out their gym area as well and it's pretty standard and clean. The rooms itself were very modern! The closet area was very unique. It was two sided.. kind of hard to explain but it divided the sink area and the bed area..the tv was in the closet area... so i guess the closet worked for both a tv stand and for clothes? Huuuuge full sized mirror to get ready in front of. Wonderful view of the Seattle college-y scene.

Yelp
This is the best affordable hotel I've come across in years! Don't look anywhere else! I only hope they keep their prices affordable and open more locations across the US. Well done #Staypineapple! Great rooms, amenities & perks!!
