Waterways Cottage

We stayed in the Scarlet apartment. It was very convenient for our visit to Silverstone. The apartment was well appointed, with nice touches of a jacuzzi bath and mood lighting. The kitchen was fully equipped with fresh coffee and milk. A lot of thought had obviously gone into the layout and equipment and the owner was very helpful without being intrusive. There was a very pleasant seating area outside where we spent a little time. Would certainly recommend this charming studio in the lovely village of Stoke Buerne||||We will be back.

The waterways cottage is perfect. We booked this as we were holding our wedding reception at The Boat Inn across the road. The owners went above and beyond in order to ensure we had a fantastic stay and it was a much appreciated surprise to come back to an amazingly decorated (rose petals, swans towels) lovely room with complimentary treats and bubbly. This impressed my wife and was a little added touch that made an amazing stay perfect and the perfect ending to a perfect day. It really was a joy to stay here and the room is excellently equipped for a romantic break. We look forward to staying here again and again!! This cottage really is a beautiful place to stay in a picturesque part of Stoke Bruerne. Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Waterways Cottage, The scenery is beautiful and the Canal is on your doorstep. The Apartment is immaculate and there is everything you could possibly think of to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Kath and Trevor are very welcoming and friendly and have gone to great lengths to make this cottage a home from home experience. Would most defiantly return.

A self catering studio, opposite one of the village's two pubs. There's a lot to Stoke Bruerne. It's a village on the Grand Union Canal, with a series of locks to entertain visitors and the boat people alike. It's a stunning place, two good pubs, wonderful Indian restaurant, museum and towpath / country walks. just 9 miles from Northampton - hence the home from home bit. We grabbed a weekend away, purely for the rest. Recharge. The location is perfect; the accommodation likewise. We stayed in the Damson studio, well equipped kitchenette; bed the size of Wales. Your own entrance, WIFI, seriously. Everything you could ask for - and then some. As if the room itself wasn't enough, there's also the delightful people who run the establishment. Better than you could ever imagine really. Unobtrusive to the point of invisibility, but as thoughtful as your best friends. Little touches that make so much of a difference. It's only a 9 mile drive from home - we are already planning our next trip.

What a delightful welcome we had from the owner, and everything in our studio we could wish for. We had a few days there visiting friend in the nearby village. It was the perfect place for us and every thing was immaculately clean and well kept. It's really only big enough for two but that suited us fine. There is Iron and ironing board and all the cooking utensils we needed. Milk, Coffee and Tea were available, a Tv in fact everything we wanted for our stay we wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I was visiting relatives close by and Waterways Cottage ticked all the boxes, I received a courtesy text reminding me of my booking and asking about my approx time of arrival, the owners replied promptly to my questions and were very gracious when I was late due to a road closure and a 20-mile diversion. ||||I have had a wonderful stay at Waterways Cottage, I was in the Damson Apartment and it is immaculate, well-appointed kitchen and even milk in the fridge, which was just what I needed when I arrived! Excellent free wi-fi and a charging station for all those gadgets we seem to carry with us these days.||||There are lots to do in the area, and plenty to do in Stoke Bruerne as a solo traveller I was made welcome by everyone in and around the village and cannot wait to book again! many thanks, Kath & Trevor

We stayed in the Scarlet suite which was very comfortable and spotless. The owner has obviously paid a lot of attention to detail with lots of special touches. The accommodation was clean, fresh and contemporary with its own outdoor seating area. We would definitely stay again and fully recommend it.

Warm friendly host. Birthday card and gifts for my husbands 50th birthday on arrival. Everything you could need in a cottage and more..great location for Towcester,pubs within walking distance overlooking canal. Highly reccommend.
