We booked a cabin for a 2 night stay to visit Wave Rock and surrounding sights. Pros: very quiet situation close to the rock spacious sitting area good kitchen facilities Excellent air conditioning in sitting room & bedroom Comfortable bed shaded area to park car next to cabin Cons: kitchen units were losing edges & needed some TLC no plug in kitchen sink so difficult to wash up water pressure was poor in the evenings, in fact only a dribble one night bottom part of shower screen rusty and dirty seats in ‘conservatory’ were extremely stained so we didn’t use this area curtains in kitchen and bedroom stained the whole cabin needed upgrading

We only stayed here recently for one night, mainly to see Wave Rock and the Yawning Hippo rock. Spectacular nature, which we loved! The caravan spots are small and some narrow. I especially found the strategic spots of the limestone blocks more daunting to navigate. However, if you want to see Wave Rock and the Yawning hippo, this is the park to go!

Nice caravan park. Fantastic that the 'Wave Rock' is a short walk. The set up of the caravan park was excellent. The large camp kitchen and communal undercover Big Screen TV & sitting area...(and BBQ areas) were smartly in the centre of the park. The pool was nice...The only negative was that the toilets were a bit tired and not many

The wave rock itself was not very impressive and a 3 minute glance was enough. But it’s a good a sleepy town as any to break up the drive to Perth. Camp grounds were decent. Facilities were good. Nothing amazing but comfortable none the less.

For us it was a winner, 39 degree day, 32 degree forecast for the evening the pool was a pleasant relief for everyone. Got up early to see a gorgeous sunrise, walked to wave rock and was blown away by its enormous grandure. How this was created is simply mind boggling. A week later and I'm still in awe of its size and overall standout awesomeness. Must see to appreciate its beauty..

Many of the sites were a really tight squeeze but we were lucky and given we had a big van they gave us a double site. Did require leveling. Extremely busy so good idea to book. Main issue was toilets with one of the men's blocks closed down leaving three total for a packed park. Pool extremely popular on 41 degree day! Great location to see the rock.

Had a night at the Rock. The ladies at check-in were awesome, lots of banter. We didn't have a booking, 3 cars, 7 people but they were more than happy to accommodate. The Rock is such a special place and Hippos Yawn just a short walk away too. Many thanks from the lads from Margaret River.

Excellent location for visiting the sites in the area. Also, the camping fee includes access wave rock and salt pools. There's a kids area and campsites are scattered around the central ablutions block, which means a bit of a walk for a midnight pee if you are not in a powered site. The let downs here were broken shower head in the men's, cook top in camp kitchen broken, thereby requiring one to cook on bbqs that heat to 1000 degrees, and no kettle to boil water.
