Great park and staff. Clean amenities. Dump point. Mostly level van sites. Power, water hook up. Pool, Wifi and park for kids. Camping fee also gets you access to Lake Magic salt pond at the Wave Rock resort a few minutes up the road.

It’s a caravan park!- it’s next door to the rock- we didn’t have a booking, we were offered an overflow- it was a paddock in the middle of the resort- no toilets or showers , you have to be self contained- really appreciated being able to be accomodated. Nice pool but it had literally 30 people in a standard backyard pool, the salt bath looked 1/2 finished and isn’t filtered or cleaned ever but was worth a dip as you literally cannot sink- pretty freaky. The whole joint kinda looks like it is a massive construction project that will be awesome when finished but I get the impression that only 1 dude works on it and it will never get there- but I hope they do cause it could be a cracker if they finished all the half built things out there. The rock and hippos yawn are exactly as they sound- worth a stop on the way from Perth to Esperance. I liked it and will be back

Basic van park near the wave rock. Shame the council allowed it in one way. Natural camping would have been much better. Tourism like this near a natural wonder is inevitable, but, regrettable. All the standard fair, and they don't let you park your van on un powered sites. But of a rip. It is what it is. Shrug.

Great place to stop if you want to explore the area, Caravan Park very tidy and heaps of room. Gladly visit again. Only negative was as we got held up a day we phoned ahead and changed our reservation from Monday to Tuesday as park was very light on visitors I was surprised that that involved a $10 amendment fee, would have been understandable if we moved to a peak period like Fri/Sat.

This was an amazing experience. The campsite is basic but it has everything you need. Mostly full tree coverage, showers, camp kitchen, washrooms, a pool, even a TV and lounge area. Kind staff! But the dream is really the salt pool, it makes you float and it rejuvenating. There is a little wildlife reserve/zoo where they have dozens of animals for cheap entry! Of course wave rock and hippo yawn. Watching the sunset on top of wave rock or at lake magic. Honestly, I recommend getting here early and doing a full day of activities and then camping. P.s, buy the campsite first because wave rock and salt pools are included. Save your $$

Stayed 2 nights. Booked cabin, through official site and prepaid. Keys picked up at Kiosk shop. Ready at 3pm. |Parking directly outside cabin, Free WiFi, but poor in cabin number 5, good in cafe across street. |Ideal site for wave rock. Easy 3 minute walk to main Wave Rock attraction. Free parking and entrance to resort drive included in stay.||Cabin has 2 rooms and bathroom.|Bedroom has 1 very comfortable clean king bed and single bed. But no electrical sockets only in sitting room.|Sitting room with kitchen has settee, small TV, dinner table, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer. AC.|Bathroom is ensuite shower and toilet and clean with toiletries. |Has private seating outside front of cabin|Would recommend stay if visiting Wave Rock. Good value

The cabins are self contained and across the road from the caravan park, but owned by the park. Walking distance to Wave Rock with entry fee included in room price. If you’re not bringing your own food to cook, you probably have to drive back to Hyden to eat. Cabins are basic but more than sufficient for one nights stay.

It is 3.5 out of 5. The Park is in a fantastic location. A short walk to Wave Rock & Hippo's Yawn. In the centre of the park is a large undercover area which is excellent. The small camp kitchen needs a new gas/electric stove as the old one is not that good. Amenities are old however very serviceable. Great water pressure. I do question if they get cleaned regularly. The male toilet seats desperately needs to be replaced. One of the door's to the male shower's was covered in graffiti and had 2 holes. The caravan sites had plenty of room. For a regional park is serviceable. They need to spend some money to bring the rating above a 4.
