Wave Rock Hotel

For those wanting to visit wave rock this motel was great. Room was newly renovated and well equipped. The highlight was eating at the pub. A few a la carte options, but the best food was the cook yourself indoor BBQ. Choose your meat, cook it to your liking, then choose from the hot veg and salad bar. Great atmosphere.

Room was okay. Food was good. Disappointed that hotel refused to send my brand new electronic toothbrush that I left in my room to my home address. I was happy to pay the postage. I contacted immediately after we'd left and told them where it was. They said it was lost.

We stayed in the house fron wave rock hotel across the street. And upon entering the house. The stench off dead animals just gets to you, it is unbeareble.|With the so called two bedrooms. Is one room just a hallway. ||Th3n upon going to the Restaurant. They have this menu with all the different choices. But when you want to order they will point to a second menu with 5 options. Where 1 option was not longer available anymore. Unless you want to cook your meal yourself. Ordering the chicken parmi is on of the best options you got. There is a very big size difference in what you get, and somebody else. With a salad that consist out of 7 leaves a diced tomato and a piece of paprika. And some fries you would had to search for under the parmi. They also have this brilliant idea of writing the order number with a permanent marker on your plate. So you are eating some of it. When the waitress came with the food. She wasn't in a good mood. Just stated the order number put the plate on the table and left. This has been by far, the worst place i have been to so far here in Australia.

Very well run and clean. The bar area was great,excellent choice of drinks. Then to eat there was a separate bistro. Here you could cook your own choice of meat on a huge bbq,or choose from Bistro type meals..the Parmis were gigantic & delicious,complemented by veg or salad buffet. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining area,once again beautifully clean with endless choices!|Do yourself a favour & stay here if you plan on visiting Wave Rock.

We loved this place! We randomly stopped here for the night and were super pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous grounds and nice, clean rooms. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The room was nicely presented and clean and tidy, and quite a modern bathroom with great shower pressure. Just an overall, pleasant experience and a little hidden gem in the middle of nowhere.

Leaking air cons , mouse traps in the room, filty dirty outside table & chairs .cook your own in the bistro and only 1/3 of the grill worked , had to pay in advance. No competition so poor service , poor cleanliness, and overpriced. I'd would never stay there again and find somewhere else to stay wv if i had to drive a few more hours.

My overnight stay at the Wave Rock Hotel Motel consisted of a very well-appointed room with a,|Comfortable bed and bedding.|Modern bathroom with great hot and cold-water pressure, soaps etc.|A neat Kitchenette.|Parking at front door.|I didn't have need to use A/C.|Fuel Station next door and only a few Ks to Wave Rock.|A pleasurable visit to the Front bar for a couple of cold, country priced 😊 beers followed by a large Parmigiana from the Bistro. |All up, I found the Wave Rock Hotel Motel to be Welcoming, well run, Hospitable and good value.

We have just finished a fantastic meal . We chose the seafood basket from the kitchen but the meat you could cook yourself looked absolutely amazing. There was so much to choose from. The rooms are very clean and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful.

This Hotel Motel is in Hyden and is a three star motel offering both standard and executive accommodation. The famous "The Wave" on Hyden Rock is a landform shaped in a giant surf wave of multicoloured granite about to crash onto the bush below. It is a must see for visitors in WA. Even though it is a massive rock just looking at it is amazing of how it was formed and the colours. We stayed in this Motel for work and when we pulled up in the parking I was pleasantly surprised, set in WA's wheat belt region this motel is a cute country style motel which has 57 comfortable units. All units have private facilities, televisions, telephones, heating / cooling, tea and coffee making facilities and toasters with all these facilities it makes it a home away from home! There are also Executive Suites which features a spa, mini-bar, luxury fittings and a private courtyard. The motel also has a gym and a beautiful pool :) You have a wide range of choice for food as this Motel has not one, not two but THREE restaurants in it! The Bush Bistro, The Gimlet and The Sandalwood. We dined in The Bush Bistro which is very unique where they offer a grill and salad style meal. For the grill you choose you own type of meat ranging from Chicken, all types of steak, lamb, pork etc and is an experience on it's own as you GRILL YOUR OWN MEAT! This is an amazing concept and very cool for a country town. The Sandalwood Restaurant offers buffet-style dining, catering for large groups and functions. On selected evenings, a la carte dining is available in The Gimlet Restaurant. The Hotel bar was awesome! The bar staff was so friendly and chatted to us and had a drink ready for when we had finished our current drink. Amazing! We had lots of fun having a few drinks and chatting to other visitors and locals. The bar also featured a pool table and a juke box which we had fun playing pool and tunes and experiencing the country life :) The whole decor of the motel is country style yet has some modern touches. The rooms themselves were very modern and comfortable and I had an amazing sleep in my room which I felt like I was in my own bed, that never happens! I even bought my own pillow which I never used as the pillows were very comfy already. The bathrooms were clean and very modern I think they had renovated. Check out the pics :) I would highly and I mean highly recommend staying at the Wave Rock Motel as it is comfortable country living and a home away from home :)
