After an exhilarating, yet exhausting sail for the last three weeks through the Spice Islands, experiencing the heat, noise, pollution and general mayhem of downtown Georgetown was getting a little too much. I booked this cosy place near the airport mainly for convenience to Continue on my journey from St V. back to Barbados the next morning, then transit back to Sheffield , U.K. |The overcrowded, extremely noisy sweaty & reckless driving culminated in me being dropped off at the wrong airport, I Transferred to another death trap Disco in motion & yet onto another private taxi & eventually the normality of “Stormsy” who took me direct to this quaint, quiet, clean, spectacular haven overlooking the Sea. |I was met with charm and pleasantry from this quiet and receptive Irishman. |I was very impressed with the setting, overlooking a rugged ocean. All you can hear is the sea breaking on the shore. It has everything you need & you cannot beat the price. It truly is a gem if you’re thinking of heading this way, it’s tasteful in decor & clean. The hosts & their pets are priceless. It has a private pool overlooking the sea, However I never used it, it’s great to freshen up after such an enduring journey, I am looking forward to a good night’s sleep. |John Batty.
