Waves Guest House was the perfect escape that I didn't know I needed. I've been here twice and both stays were excellent. It's a lovely space and hosted by very friendly and courteous folks. Great for a solo trip as they're are guest other cottages on the property but works as a lovely couple's getaway as well. Great option if you're in St.Vincent!

The couple Claire and Kimmo welcomed us as if we were family. The place has amazing views and a beautiful pool, claire made us fabulous breakfast, and Kimmo very knowledgeable. We went when hurricane Beryl had just passed through St Vincent which has caused damaged to places and the hosts were amazing through all the stress of this. The chalet we stayed in was spacious and homely and the bed was so comfortable. They even gave us lift to the carnival and arranged personal taxi driver to take us into town for Vincimas carnival which was a lot of fun. Also the sound of the waves is so relaxing I highly recommend staying here also close to Argyle airport. Will definitely be back again 🥰

My wife and I had a lovely stay here recently. We had a great time. The property has a large garden and pool with beautiful views over the ocean, as well as some free range Turtle sightings. Our hosts were lovely and picked us up from the nearby Airport and made sure we had all the information we needed. We were able to explore by car the nearby towns with restaurants, shops and amazing beaches. We're looking forward to returning in the future!

We stayed for a week in April and had a great time. The airport pick up was much appreciated after a long flight and the guesthouse is conveniently located not far from the airport. Our cabin (silver palm, which we booked specifically as it's the only room with air con and we knew temperatures would be high) was spacious, with a super comfy bed, well stocked kitchenette and large bathroom. We didn't cook much as the lovely owners gave us lots of recommendations for local restaurants and takeaways, but we enjoyed starting the day on the terrace with a coffee, looking at views over the ocean, followed by a swim in the amazing natural rock pool just a 5 minute walk away. We loved exploring the tropical gardens, lazing by the pool, and meeting the resident tortoises and pets. There are plenty of nice beaches, restaurants and sundowner spots within 10-20 minute drive, and it takes about 30 mins to get to the ferry at Kingstown, which we used to explore nearby Bequia for the day. Would definitely return to Waves in future.

I have stayed at Waves Guest House twice and both times were marvelous. It's such a beautiful and serene space. Each cottage is thoughtfully curated and equipped with all you need for the perfect escape. The location is close to the airport, a short drive to the captital Kingstown and steps away from the Rawacou National Park. Kimmo was an exceptional host who who was readily available and happy to assist with any inquiries. Highly recommend.

Charming little property right on the coast with magnificent views. Only a few steps away from the beach (bathing in the sea not recommended here). Well looked after garden and a small dipping pool to cool you down. The units were well equipped and our host Kimmo was quick to help if we had any questions or anything was missing. Great place to wind down and relax as it is situated a long way from civilisation. A car is necessary, its a few kilometres to the closest supermarket and a good 30 minute drive to Kingstown. ||Small niggle, only a trickle of water from the tap in the bathroom sink, Kimmo never managed to fix this.|Major downside, lack of adequate ventilation or a/c. We rented two units one in the basement of the main building and one small cottage, neither were equipped with a/c. Looking at the description on Booking.com only one of all the units on offer at Waves has a/c, not mention at all regarding ventilation of the other units and we did not manage to get the one equipped with a/c. Kimmo advised that this fact was pointed out in the booking confirmation sent to us from Booking.com but I have been unable to find that information. According to Kimmo ”when the breeze is at its normal strength, the apartments stay comfortably cool” something I don’t agree with but in other words check the weather report prior to booking because if there is little or no breeze the temperature inside will be oppresive. The indoor temperature in the small cottage was well over 40c in the afternoon and only dropped a little during the night. (Despite all the extra fans the host had supplied). Kimmo also mentioned the cost of electricity was one of the reasons for not installing a/c. I keep hearing that electricity is expensive in the Caribbean. I have no doubt that these countries are paying more now than previously, but looking at the prices of electricity they don’t seem to differ much from Europe? I would also suggest that the situation will not get better if these countries do not stop using fossil fuels to produce their electricity.|Just to clarify we were not after accommodation where the ambient temperature was very low in the whole unit, all we were looking for is being able to sleep in a room with a sensible temperature, that we did not get.

Great accommodation and very near the airport if you are arriving or departing from the new Argyle Airport. Surprising that there is almost no noise from the airport, you will probably fall asleep to the sound of waves instead. Great mattrass meant a great sleep, the owners are so friendly and helpful, and the room was perfect for a short stay. Good hot shower, fan and a/c and a nice terrace outside. The owners know what hospitality means, and the welcome is great.|||| There is also a great beach and headland nearby, although swimming is only recommended in the large rock pools there. I wish that I could have stayed longer !! It was a perfect end to a stay on St. Vincent. Recommended !!
