Wawa Thai Food

Google
I found everything about this place perfect. The food was enormously good, and the red curry with wild rice was something I would get again. The ambience is cute but also proper, with good lighting and interior design. Very friendly and helpful staff as well. I came across it on a walk, while I was touring the neighborhood for a brief work trip.

We ordered takeout from here last night it was awesome. We had Chicken Satay, Crispy Spring Rolls, Papaya Salad, Eggplant Basil, Pad See Ew, Drunken Noodle and Green Curry, Papaya Salad and Cucumber Salad. Everything was super fresh and tasty really good flavor the cucumber salad is a super good deal it was like $4 or something if I lived close that would be my snack. Lastly we had mango sticky rice, Thai Iced Tea and a Vietnamese Coffee. All for a little over $100 takeout. Would definitely do takeout again but next time we gotta eat in. I didn’t take a picture of my food plated but I did take a pic of leftovers so you know it’s a real review lol enjoy.

Google
Tasty Thai food in a trendy, super cute bistro. We visited for takeout and had the fresh spring rolls, green curry, and Kana Moo Krob. They were all really yummy! The green curry has a good flavor, but is a bit on the sweet side, with green beans and eggplant. The kana moo krob had crispy pork belly and spicy greens. It’s a super cute spot for a date, and roughly $20 per dish. The only thing it’s missing is some cats to keep you company 😹

Wawa Thai food was a favorite from when it opened, but then a few years ago they suddenly closed for many months. After they reopened, the food wasn't the same for a while, but I am so happy to say that they're back to the amazing, authentic, affordable Thai food they were before! They have some of the best pra ram around, and their curries are amazing. Most entrees come with rice which is nice, and the portions are always very generous. I recently tried their Khan Toke veg (also available not vegetarian) which was an absolutely amazing sampling platter that was more than enough to feed two hungry people at an amazing price. It truly felt like such an amazing treat to get and was beautiful as well as delicious and showed off the many influences within Thai cuisine.

Wawa Thai is a cute little Thai restaurant in Upper Diamond neighborhood of Oakland, CA. They pride themselves of serving authentic Northern Thai dishes. I came to grab a late lunch/early supper and was sat immediately. Interior decor and atmosphere were cute and relaxing, respectively. Dine-in area was spacious albeit limited but it’s meant to be that way given this was a small restaurant. Moreover, their menu items were modest. I ordered a Pad Thai, Spring Rolls and Thai Iced Coffee. Both tasted great and very flavorful. Drink was refreshing. Staff was amiable and assiduous. Service was on point. Prices were economically reasonable. Street parking only. Collectively, I can say this was a good Thai restaurant. I had a good dine-in experience and enjoyed my meal/drink. I recommend them if you’re in the Bay area.

Google
Tried out Wawa for the second time since a friend spoke so highly of it and recommended we dine in, instead of ordering out (we did that for the first time and didn't enjoy anything we ordered the first time). We got the shrimp rolls which were pretty standard, the roti with curry dipping sauce was good, khao soi with crispy pork belly is probably the best Thai style I've had in the bay so far (red curry based broth, spicy, added additional chili oil and peppers and leveled up the flavors). The pickled mustard greens on the side were amazing! We didn't like the boat noodle that was advertised in the menu and tasted like instant noodles but, the workers had no problem taking it back and let us get a different dish. The Pad Thai is what we chose and it was good and we like how saucy it was. Thai ice tea was standard and the lemongrass infused cocktail... It didn't taste like lemongrass at all and it was really acidic.

Ms. B.

Google
We got take out . All the stuff we ordered came correct . I thoroughly enjoyed this crab fried rice. The sauce it came with was a flavor bomb! My cousin is allergic to shellfish but it was so good he ate some anyways . I guess it was worth the runs. Their samosa , pad Thai and soups were great !

Google
This place is a great alternative to the spot up the street. The prices are reasonable and happy hour made the parking struggle worthwhile. I wasn’t too keen on the service. The bartender was not welcoming and the servers couldn’t really give me their opinion on the food. If I visit again, I will order to-go.

Yelp
Very cute ambiance and great service. Everything we got was yummy, but I personally could do without a few of the things we got only due to personal preference. We got the crispy rice balls and which was citrus-y and delicious, crispy shrimp rolls, sea bass, pineapple fried rice, and the fried chicken with roti. The sauce on the sea bass was a little sweet for me, but again, everything was great. The fried chicken was so crispy yet tender and juicy inside. All the sauces were amazing. Food came out fast. They now have patio seating and happy hour as of last week. I will be back!

Yelp
A cute little Thai restaurant on the road of 35th and MacArthur; bright baby pink exterior, you can't miss it. Once you walk it, it feels like a to-go joint, but once you turn to your right, you walk down to where the dining area is. The interior definitely feels very homey, but a little stuffy though. I feel like it would nice to have some ventilation in there as well as a little brighter light, because it felt a little dark (in the basement) type of vibe. The only thing that stood out at this location was their Fried Chicken and Roti with their Yellow Curry Sauce; this is one of their specialties! The pad Thai was a little disappointing; it's more on the sweet and saucier side. Highly recommend asking them to make it mild to at least bring back the savory taste in the noodles. The tomyum was delicious, but for its price, it felt very small portion. The Thai Tea is on the milky side, so if you're into that, go for it! The service here was super friendly, definitely would come back here just for their specialties (and also need to try their sticky rice with mango)

Yelp
Tried this place out in Oakland and so glad I did. They only have street parking available, but we got lucky and found parking right in front. It's nice from the outside, but once you walk inside it's just that much more amazing. I love the decor inside and the choice color. We went on a Saturday around 5:30pm and it was fairly empty which was nice. The staff were very nice and attentive throughout the entire time. To drink I ordered the Chiang Mai Sour which I thought was just ok. I was hoping it would have a bit more flavor. As an appetizer we ordered the Khan Toke which was a great portion for our group of 3. The presentation of the dish was really nice and the food was really good as well. I loved that we got to try many different dishes on this platter and all of them were a hit. It normally takes 20 minutes to come out, but since it was slow it came out between 10-15 mins. For my entree I got the Shrimp Pad Thai. It was a very large portion and had a good amount of flavor. The fried rice on the fried chicken over fried rice plate was good, but I wished it would've been a bit more fried. My friend also enjoyed her pineapple duck curry. Overall, I enjoyed all the food and would recommend this place to family and friends. Check it out!

Yelp
We came by on a rainy Friday evening and were seated promptly. The decor is cute and welcoming. We got the Khan Thoke platter for two, which was more than enough for the two of us! It had a fried dumpling stuffed with a starchy veg, fried chicken, fried pork belly, sausage - this was really flavorful and seasoned with lemongrass. An egg & sausage mix, a pork belly curry, squash and eggplant side and sticky rice. They make their sauces fresh and you can taste the difference. A word of caution if you're vegetarian or vegan to check the dishes served - the table next to ours had an order mix up where they got chicken massaman curry instead of beef, which was quickly corrected and their vegan platter for two had egg. The service is friendly and awesome and we will be back to try more of their dishes!

Yelp
Wawa is a vibrant Thai restaurant that enlivens the neighborhood with its creative yet classic dishes. The fun, colorful ambiance and attentive service provide an enjoyable dining experience whether for takeout or a sit-down meal with drinks. My favorite were the flavorful drunken noodles, and my wife really appreciated the ample vegan prix fixe platter offering diverse, tapas-style plates perfect for sharing.

Yelp
6/5! Wawa is AMAZING! I'm honestly very loyal to my beloved thai spot in Berkeley but after trying the khao soi.... I'm changed. Well first off, the interior decor is the absolute cutest - I even included a pic of the restroom because even that room is adorable, lol. The service is also soooo so so kind, attentive, and friendly. We got the khao soi, my first time trying, and the different textures between dry and soft egg noodles were just incredible together. Chose tofu as the protein but was surprised it came with other meat alternatives that made it even more amazing. It was the perfect dish! The portions aren't too bad either. Also got the tom yum soup with shrimp and the spice and flavor was perfect... chefs kiss. I'm kind of obsessed? You need to come in and try for yourself!

Yelp
I ordered Togo on a Tuesday night and had their nam Kao, pad kee mao with chicken and their yellow curry with mixed veggies. For the pad kee mao and yellow curry I chose medium spice which ended up being a nice spice for both. The order was promptly made and nice and hot when I picked up. The server was friendly and asked if I needed utensils before I grabbed my order. The ambiance inside the restaurant was cute and clean. For my Togo orders, Wawa adds a twist to each dish as the nam kao had jalapeños and ginger which I have never seen. The ginger added a taste that I was not very fond of and would omit next time. For the yellow curry, the potatoes were pretty raw and unstewed, the curry was ok; a bit sweet for my liking. My husband really liked the pad kee Mao. It came with a side of coleslaw salad that we have also never seen in a pad kee mao.

Yelp
Cute restaurant with good northern Thai food and service! Came on a weekday night for some Thai food and this place didn't disappoint! Ordered a variety of dishes from khan toke, khao soi, drunken noodles, and kao naem tod. Khan Toke - a giant sampler of dishes that can also be made vegan. Everything tasted amazing and had great texture and flavor profiles. Definitely feeds up to 2-3 people or can be used as an appetizer sampler for large groups. Khao soi - Great flavor curry and they're generous with the amount of proteins they add. I got this with crispy pork belly which was very crispy and held up its texture, even when soaked in the curry broth. Also got this in mild spiciness level and it was definitely Thai mild! Drunken noodles - Also great flavor and texture. Generous on amount of protein as well. Kao Naem Tod (crispy rice salad) - Never had this before and it was so good! Rice was very crispy, pork sausage was flavorful, and it was good to eat alone or wrapped in lettuce. Thai ice tea - You can taste the tea and it's nice and creamy. Great for soothing your tongue from the spiciness of the food. Other details on this restaurant: Don't love the location of this in Oakland, but the interior is so cute and the staff are friendly and attentive. There is a small parking lot right outside, and you can also find some street parking.

Yelp
Wawa you mean Whomp whomp..... Got their Khao Soi soup with crispy pork belly, a Thai Iced tea, and their roti. Let's break this down: Thai tea was great and the roti with green curry were both 5 star ! Now to the Khao soup. Hardly and noodles and the crispy pork was more like overcooked pork. I couldn't even chew it-it was so solid and rock like. It's not your crispy melt in your mouth or fun Chicharrón crunchy. This is a break your teeth tough pork. The broth was very spicy even though I asked for mild and there were barely any noodles in my dish. I was so hungry afterwards. The flavors were 3 stars. The service was non existent. Felt weird when we were one of 2 tables and they took our sauced and gave it to the other table. Don't they have enough sauces to go around? The waitress was MIA the whole time, didn't clear our table, napkins were self service, didn't pour our drinks, yet wanted an 18% tip.

Yelp
Wawa Thai is now one of my favorite Thai restaurants to visit in Oakland! It is such a hidden gem! The artworks are so cute and welcoming. My friends and I love eating here! Everything we order was delicious and so flavorful. The Sweet and sour Snapper, Fried Chicken & Roti and Pad Thai were some of my favorites, though the ginger salad was so refreshing! You must order the Khan Toke specials, it is food that is serve on a pedestal tray which is used as a small dining table. What a fun experience, with so many delicious little plates of food to samples. Don't forget their Thai teas/coffee, and delicious cocktails. Check them out when you're in Oakland, make sure to bring all your friends so y'all can try ALL their delicious Northern Thai dishes, especially the Khan Toke. We can't wait to come back and try the other dishes.

Yelp
I have passed by this place so many times and it looked small so I thought it was just take-out. But when I checked Yelp to see if it was open I read that they had seating. So I popped on by and to my surprise it was a cute and bright space with plenty of indoor dining. Service was prompt and we ordered the crab fried rice with the fried chicken and fried rice platter. Both were very good and filling. The tomatoes complimented the fried rice perfectly. The fried chicken was very crispy and fresh. The breading was light and airy. I really enjoyed it. We also ordered a Thai iced tea that was made with a balanced amount of sugar, milk and tea. We will be back!!

Yelp
This is our new go to for Thai in this area. The food is good, the staff is nice. We get food to go usually, sometimes there is a wait but it is worth it.

Yelp
Ate at Wawa for the first time. It's next door to The Food Mill on MacArthur - a somewhat gritty area - though Wawa itself is a cheerfully decorated restaurant. My friend is Indonesian, so she chose the Roti Dip with yellow curry sauce - it was delicious! She ordered Khao Soi - savory northern Thai curry broth containing rich egg noodles, red onions, shallots, and pickled mustard greens.Topped with a nest of crispy fried noodles. Served with homemade garlic chili sauce and a wedge of lime on the side. I had a taste - it was delicious too! I had Kana Moo Krob - Chinese broccoli stir fry with crispy pork belly and soy garlic sauce. It was delicious too! My Indonesian friend said the food is very good at Wawa and I agree! I hope to come back soon!

Yelp
We were hungry on our way back to SF from east bay so did a quick search and this place showed up! It's so cute in person, I love the aesthetic and color scheme. Interior design and service was great! The food was good, loved crisp roti and the flavor packed entrees. The peanut sauce had a pretty weak peanut flavor and tasted more milky. The curry was okay, kinda sweet though. It was hard to eat share these dishes since they didn't have small shareable bowls or spoons (they gave us large soup bowls and soup spoons after we had to request it) Overall really great atmosphere, fun upbeat interior , friendly service, and decent food!

Rasheda S.

Yelp
My husband and I love this place. The food comes out hot and tasty every time. Once you walk in you'll be amazed at how freaking cute it is! The decor is top notch. Service was fantastic, quick and super accommodating but the food stoke the show. This is northern style Thai food so more acidic, sour but style sweet and savory. This place is a gem!!
google avatar

Jackie D.

Yelp
Wawa Thai delivered a delightful dining experience with their take-out Pad Thai. The dish was well-executed, boasting a harmonious blend of flavors and fresh ingredients. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the balance of sweet, sour, and savory elements was spot on. Portion size was generous, ensuring satisfaction with every bite. Wawa Thai certainly earns a recommendation for those craving authentic Thai cuisine.

Yelp
Honest the best Thai food in town. I used to love going to Venetian cafe which is one of my favorite places to go for a good Thai/lao food, but since Wawa opened up fairly close to my house, my husband and I love going there for a sit down or order take out from them. When we went for the first time, the service was ehhh like some of the Asian restaurants but they have gotten better and now we get an amazing arrive from all the staff there. This place is so beautiful and cozy inside. You might have to find parking on the street sometime, but I have always found parking easily close to the restaurant. I love their red curry( yumm so good), their roti dish, chicken satay, egg plant basil with pork or chicken!! They are all soooooo yummm! I will go back anytime.
google avatar

Thomas T.

Yelp
GREAT food especially for the price. Think Sister Thai but for a fraction of the cost. Sweet little room in the back has closing doors with pillows. They will even turn on a heater for you! This is our (my girlfriend and I) new secret spot. Highly recommend

Holly F.

Yelp
The servers were very sweet and the ambiance was pretty and modern. The food was average. We had the avocado salad which had very little avocado in it and only slightly limp iceberg lettuce instead of a spring mix of lettuces. The seafood pad Thai noodles were delicious but the seafood was a little bland. There are other Thai restaurants like Daughter Thai in Montclair and Farmhouse Kitchen in Jack London Square that I would recommend first.

John B.

Yelp
Tried the green curry and it lacks flavor. Most Thai curries just have such incredible flavor. This one is just....blah. It was not terrible, but needs improvement and the eggplant was cut way way too large....way more than bite sized.
google avatar

Anamaria M.

Yelp
I ordered the Beef Combo Noodle Soup. It was delicious ;had beef and beef spare rib (yummy) with thin rice noodles. My boyfriend ordered the Papaya Salad and the Praram- lots of peanuts! Our go-to place for quick, good service!
google avatar

Cathy N.

Yelp
Yum! I love this place and have had it delivered a couple of times. We picked it up this last time and saved $30-40! Food is so good. Love the roti and yellow curry sauce, pad see ew, and chicken satay. The place is adorable and we want to eat in there some time.
google avatar

Natalie A.

Yelp
We're lucky this place is in our neighborhood. The food is good and consistent. We order primarily vegetarian dishes and really appreciate all of the options. I love their fresh rolls, the Wawa basil and eggplant dishes best. When we do eat meat, the stuffed roti is a treat! It's the kind of thing I would enter an eating contest for and really have a shot at winning. Even just their plain roti is good. We tend to order the same things over and over, but I look forward to trying some new stuff. I'm sure we'll have some new favorites once we finally do. And while I hate that they had to go through having their place so badly damaged by the car accident, their remodel looks so fresh and bright. I love seeing that little pop of color on MacArthur.

Yelp
9/30/23 This was our dinner... 1. Fried Chicken & Roti $20: I LOVE the coating on their "fried chicken" (basically a humongous thigh I believe, skin on but maybe butterflied?)... it was ultra crunchy, just the way I love it. Chicken itself was moderately juicy given it's dark meat. The roti kinda sucked--very dense. Came with some Asian salad which was tangy and good. The chicken itself was great, but it was just 1 huge piece and isn't worth $20 a thigh, and the roti wasn't good enough to justify the steep price. 6/10 2. Pad Thai $17: Wasn't good. Noodles were over soft, and the meat was ULTRA ULTRA ULTRA overcooked and dry. 3/10 3. Chicken Wings $13: Was okay... fried without coating. Wasn't super dry, but wasn't juicy for sure. Came with a store-bought sweet chili sauce. But without the sauce, really had no flavor. 2.5/10 4. Yellow Curry (mild), Tofu, Jasmine Rice $16: Curry was bland and thin. Tofu was hard, rice was fine. Not much more to say than that. 3/10 5. Fresh Spring Rolls $13: I didn't order this, so it's possible the item description noted this, but this is not your typical Vietnamese spring roll. For one it's 2x as thick, and stuffed with a more American-style salad plus cucumbers. Had some meat in it, but it was mostly vegetables. There were 3 large-diameter pieces, and 1 was split open. Standard Vietnamese ones are tastier and cost less. 3/10 2/5 Way overrated @ an average score of 4.4 as of today. #fastfoodthai #thaicuisine #thaifood #padthai #thaifriedchicken #thairoti #thaispringrolls

Yelp
We decided to try a new Thai place just to mix things up and came upon this place. We decided to be really lazy and order takeout, which can always be a mixed bag, especially if you're going to try a new place. But we thought what the heck let's go for it. I placed our usual order of food, which this place had, like crab fried rice, pad Thai, Chicken satay, and roti. Our food came relatively fast via delivery person, it was still nice and warm. The amount of food you get for the cost was pretty adequate and on par with other Thai food places that we have been to around the bay area. I really enjoyed the roti and the crab fried rice. I had a little kick to it with the sauce that came with it, which I really liked. There was nothing really remarkable about the other dishes, tasted pretty on par, with other Thai food, places that we have ordered from previously. And that's not a bad thing at all. I would rather the food taste just like what I'm used to, then tasting awful, or having bad service. Overall, we had a pretty good experience with our take-out order, and would probably do it again as well.
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Food was good quality and had solid taste. Their chili oil is 3 alarm stuff!! Almost put too much on my pad se ew. They seemed kind of slammed when I went in to pick up our food so I had to wait an extra 10 min but I get it. We'll be going back in the future.
google avatar

Chad M.

Yelp
Went with friends. Service was good. I just didn't care for the food. The balance of the spicy, sweet, sour was way off in the Pad Thai. For the Thai I have had in Oakland this one is probably my least favorite. Bright smallish location. Friendly service. Just not for me food wise.
google avatar

Eric B.

Yelp
This place is great. We visited here about two years ago and then again recently. They were closed for a little while because it car ran into the restaurant. In my opinion, they would get five stars but the last time we went there the food was very tasty, but not the temperature hot that I like my food to be at. The spice level was great! We definitely will be coming back again. We ordered the mango sticky rice, roti, drunken noodles, and duck curry.
google avatar

Juicke C.

Yelp
I was looking for Thai nearby east Oakland and found this restaurant. Interesting enough, I had discovered this location to be a restaurant where my dad had a Chinese American restaurant back in the 60's. What a small world. This Thai place opened in 2020. I phoned in my to go order of fresh roll, pad Thai with shrimp and green curry with chicken. The roll was vegetarian roll and tasted refreshing. The pad Thai was better than expected. And to mix things up, the green curry with rice was enjoyable. The service was friendly, good preparation and delivery was fast. Since it was take out food, I had forgotten to take photos. The food was tasty and service was friendly. It was a worthwhile visit will visit again should I be the neighborhood.

Yelp
We ordered from Wawa Thai for pickup and ate at home. Can't speak to the ambiance but service was very fast! Friend recommended the Khao Soi, which I'd never had before. He got the drunken noodle which also looked delicious! The khao soi came with a few protein options - chicken, pork belly or short rib - would highly recommend going with pork belly if you're a fan of lechon! It is a curry flat noodle dish with fried crispy noodles on top. Lots of great textures and I loved how you had to assemble it so nothing got soggy. There were onions and pickled veggies in the curry too! Shocked that I've never tried this before. Reminding myself to try new things more
google avatar

Ms J.

Yelp
I love that there's a decent restaurant closeby, and like their food, and MOST of the staff are REALLY nice, but there's one staff member who's just rude as all else. She just hangs up on calls, and makes NO EFFORT TO BE POLITE AT ALL - shes just abrasive (I gave it 3 tries, I'm done). Eating out/take out js completely optional for me- I'm completely fine without it. Clearly they don't need any more patrons, since patrons can be treated any kind of way,, so deuces.

Yelp
Places like this are one of the reasons I miss Oakland so much. Yum!!! We came here on a Sunday night and were happy to see it wasn't too busy. We grabbed a table in their cheerful and fun dining room with colorful walls and cute dish ware. Service was super friendly and accommodating the whole time. Sadly they couldn't make any cocktails because their bartender wasn't there which was a bit weird only having one person who can make drinks but oh well. We ordered the pineapple fried rice that we thought came in a pineapple from the photos but it just comes on a plate. Still delicious though. We also ordered the chicken satay, salad rolls, red curry, pad ke mai and kao soi. It was all soooo delicious, flavorful and fresh. The kao soi was seriously one of the best things I've had in a while. The chicken satay had an amazingly savory sauce and was cooked perfectly. We also ordered the roti and that was equally as delicious. Next time I'm in Oakland I will definitely make a trip back!
google avatar

Laura V.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food!! This is a small place and it's busy so don't come if you're expecting to get in and out in 30 mins. We tried a few different things because we weren't sure what we wanted. We tried the chicken satay - geeze SO good!!!! Tom yum soup is SPICY we asked for it mild and it still had some heat, but so good -large pieces of mushroom and the lemon grass We also tried the crab fried rice, get the crab fried rice! It's a large portion and just great flavor, never had anything like it. The last dish was the eggplant basil with crispy pork. So much flavor. The pork was crispy but tender, the eggplant and veggie so yummy, great portions as well. Thai iced tea was also great. Service was a little slow, but they were slammed inside and with to go orders. Go try them! PS we were starving so we didn't get ANY photos
google avatar

Francisca H.

Yelp
Fresh, flavorful and easy to order to go. Wawa Thai is outstanding. Came here for Togo because I was too lazy to cook today. Laziness pays off for me! I discovered a new go to take out place. The restaurant makes their own sauces and curry. Very very good. Next time I'll come back and dine in the dining area was open and very cute.
google avatar

Monic R.

Yelp
Best Thai food in the Bay! Delicious, we'll balanced, (spicy! We drank milk), nicely portioned food. We enjoyed the khao soi, eggplant chicken, and Tom yum chicken! The eggplant didn't have a lot of eggplant but did have a great flavor. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Dana H.

Yelp
My daughter and I visited and ordered two appetizers, fried tofu and chicken wings, the entre was the crab fried rice, the food was good. As a retired chef the restaurant has a lot of potential and well designed. We sat by the back door, something I don't recommend because we could hear a dog barking and the workers were going in and out the back door constantly which was very annoying. Too make it worse, one of the male workers walked through the restaurant with the dog, that's not appropriate in a restaurant.

Yelp
We have ordered pick up several times. The dishes are usually flavorful with appropriate spice level, according to what you request. If you get chicken added to a dish, it is dry and nearly inedible. With an extra cost. We won't be ordering meat added ever again. Yuck. I enjoy the noodles and soups, but vegetarian is definitely the way here. Here are my 3 plates of leftovers: the lamb, the eggplant basil, and the drunken noodles with chicken. They are way too bell pepper, green bean, and onion heavy. Barely any eggplant in the dish-maybe 6 chunks. Barely any noodles. 3 small lamb chops.

Yelp
This poor place keeps getting burglarized at night by what looks to be a bunch of kids and food/tips taken right off the counters during business hours. As long as they stay open I'll keep going though! Delicious.

Yelp
Super attentive staff, very nicely decorated, and the food is amazing! Ordered the pineapple duck curry and it was the perfect combination of spicy, sweet, and savory. The roti with the green curry was perfect, too. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Still takeout only, but a real gem. Excellent spice level. Many places are disappointingly mild, or just basic hot. Not so here.

Yelp
I haven't been in Thai. I've only have so much eaten Thai in the US. I believe wawa might be the one of the original from Thai. Try anything, you never regret. Be careful, it's addictive. Love chef of Wawa

Yelp
Always fresh and delicious. I've tried so many different things but our go to are the fresh spring rolls (bomb peanut sauce!), veggie pad see ew, and we switch between curries (love the spice!). They can get busy in the evenings but other than that it's always nice service. They just did some redecorating and it's so bright and colorful in there, it's really refreshing. I hope our community continues to go here so they can stay open. Love it!

Yelp
Awesome spot for Thai. We've only done takeout but it's cute inside for dine in too. Everything we've had here has been delicious especially the curries and the noodles (fresh ingredients and very flavorful).

Yelp
Ridiculous and absurd for the "owner" to post such a reply. Rather than taking ownership and responsibility for the lack of quality and authenticity of the product their cook produced, they characterize the reviewer as "rude" and "yelling" which is simply untrue. Please spare yourself the egregious cost for sub-par inauthentic "supposed-Thai" food here at Wawa...you'll be glad you skipped this place.

Yelp
Had been hearing about this place it very close to my house. Well I tried it spent $86 bucks and it was worth every penny. Very fresh and the staff was super cool
