Not once in my 37 years of living have I ever had someone think I'm stealing something. I stop at this wawa, I grab my two drinks, and a food item...I then want coffee, well, I only have two hands. So I place an item in my purse that you can still see. Make my coffee...go to pay and as doing so a manager (maybe assistant manager) walks up to me, not even remotely friendly and says "you better pay for whatever you put in your purse". I respond with the fact I was only given two hands. ANYway, this probably would've been the end of it. I pay for EVERYTHING and move on. Except i have to go back for some sugar. Don't you know this same "manager" is talking shit to other employees about me hiding items and probably wasn't going to pay. Unprofessional at it's finest. Why not wait until I'm done paying everything? Why not wait on the shit talk AFTER I leave? YOU WORK IN CUSTOMER SERVICE. And dont get me wrong, I'm sure you deal with a lot of stolen items.... but don't assume and sure as hell dont talk about about customers while they're still there. Hopefully you see this and learn something and I reeally wish I got your name 🙃
