Parking instructions are not clear and visible, I received a ticket for not paying in advance. Make sure you pay before you walk away from the garage, they will issue a $45 ticket.

They will ticket you whether or not your monthly parking pass is visible. Idiot meter maids walking around leaving tickets to cars that pay $300 a month to park here. Unbelievable.

It's a perfectly fine parking garage with perfectly fine prices.

Tickets issued based solely upon whether your car has cooled off…with av20 minute delay on computer from purchasing parking ticket.

Ridiculous! I came 5 minutes later and I got a ticket 🎫. They’re waiting just to give a ticket. I have been using this garage for 3 months and this is the first time they gave me a parking violation ticket.

DO NOT PARK YOU VEHICLE HERE. YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE! I received not 1 but 2 parking violations for expired tags on the same day. The whole point of putting your vehicle in a garage is to protect from some of these things. I paid to park my vehicle there for a reason.

Well lit and easy-ish to navigate around! Would recommend paying by ParkMobile online or the app, the machines don’t seem to always work! It’s a lot more reliable to pay that way by plate, you can also add more time that way too to avoid a ticket. Paid only 2 something dollars for 3 hour stay!

I was just reading my review from 14 years ago after I noticed someone had commented on it and literally everything I wrote is no longer true. First of all parking payment rates have drastically changed along with the hours that you need to pay for parking. There is no free half hour anymore. You now have to pay Monday through Saturday up to 10PM. I believe the rate is $1.25 per hour. You also must pay in advance and guesstimate how long you plan to stay and there's no half hour increments so if you only want to pop into a restaurant for carry out, then you need to either take your chances and not pay, or pay for an hours worth of parking. Also, none of the three places I mentioned that I visited exist anymore, but there are lots of great stores and new restaurants in Downtown Silver Spring to explore. This parking garage is the closest one to where all the action is in Downtown Silver Spring.

This garage is extremely convenient to all of the downtown shops and restaurants. It's well lit, fairly clean, and has signs that identify which direction things are such as Wayne Avenue, retail/restaurants, elevators, and staircases. It gets pretty crowded on the weekends and evenings because of the time period and because it's free to park if you exit after 9pm on weekdays and free all day on the weekend. There are electronic signs that indicate the number of spots on each level as you ascend the ramps to the next level, but they're usually inaccurate. The technology to sense filled/vacant spots that's used it Tysons Corner Center, for example, isn't used here. Still, I've never had a problem parking. There are usually attendants on duty before 9 pm as well as several kiosks to pay before you return to your car. You can also pay upon exit, but that causes a line of cars behind you and is inadvisable on a busy night.

Well marked and well lit with several decks of parking. Overnight is free - I suggest you park on deck 5 near the hotel - if you're out by 7am. Otherwise you might not have a ticket. Oops. Only two blocks from the Silver Spring Metro station.

Plenty of parking and convenient. It's free on the weekends which i think is amazing! Yes the garage gets packed but there are always cars going in and out. The free parking on the weekend allows more customers to be able to check out the businesses in the area. My only cons - trash being thrown in the parking spots. I notice that there weren't any trash cans near by the stairs/elevators as you would usually see

My car tires were slashed while I was parked here in May of 2017. They sustained 4-5 "slashes" that caused them to go flat within a block of exiting the garage. It looked like several cars tires were slashed (as I was leaving I saw 2 cars getting tires replaced but didn't think much of it until I went like 200 feet out of the garage and my dashboard lit up like Christmas and my lights went off and BOOM flat). My mechanic verified my tires were slashed - and I'm just glad that I was not around at the same time the knife or sharp object was. Regardless - lack of security is a huge concern for me. I won't park here again - I don't feel safe doing so. I feel honor bound to point this out so folks parking know that security is a concern. Yes it's a big metropolitan area and these things happen - but fool me twice, shame on me. I'll metro next time or choose elsewhere to park that has better security.

I love this garage. It is free and after 6pm. I always take a picture of my parking space number. Be alert...drivers are careless and don't always give caution when driving by crosswalks.

Awesome parking location close to the mall downtown, and free on weeknights after 7PM and on weekends! There is even a sign that tells you how many spots are left on each level so you don't waste time circling a full lot.

This garage is very convenient, underground and pretty secure. It is well lit and being underground, it keeps you within the vicinity of the local establishments. The prices are pretty fair as well. I believe local establishments can validate parking as well. It never hurts to ask! The worst they can say is no.

You'll struggle to find places this easy to park in the District. The garage is pretty cheap (and free on evenings and weekends), close to things worth going to, and the elevators work reasonably well. That sounds like a low bar, but given that parking options range from poor to nonexistent in many places in and around here, it's saying something. Makes Silver Spring a more appealing destination when you can be confident you can drive there.

Awesome. Pretty good rates (for DC area) and weekends free. This free parking is very helpful for the DTSS area, especially the farmer's market and Fenton Street market.

There are often mechanical problems, getting a ticket or exiting. The attendant on October 15, 2014 at 2:30 PM was incredibly rude and yelling at me and other customers as we stood around waiting for him to give us information about how to get out of the garage because no ticket had come out of the machine for us on the way in even though the gate lifted. He told me "I will let you go freely" then when I came back toe exit - he dramatically motioned to me to get into the lane to exit, then sauntered over in a leisurely manner and swiped his card to let me exit and hissed at me, "Why don't you have a ticket?" It was creepy and abusive. I tried to call and complain at 240-777-8744 which is the number listed, but every time I've tried the recorded voice says, "All lines are busy, please call back"
