A pleasurable experience, Andy set up a time to come to our home to view what we had and showed up when he said he would. The whole process was very smooth, and we even learned a few things, it was a pleasure speaking with him. Made a perfect offer for what we had and completed a sale immediately. Very glad that the items will be enjoyed by others.

I had a bunch of old records that I had not used in many years. I called “We Buy Records “. I talked to Brian and he asked me to come so he could see them. He was very nice and gave me a good offer for them. If you have records to sell give them a call.

Giving 1 star because I drove 45 minutes only to find out this place closes at 2pm on Tuesday/Thursday not 7pm like it says here. Hopefully this review helps someone else not make the same mistake that I did. It’s 2025 and there’s no reason for google not to have the most up to date hours.

I had a pretty disappointing experience at We Buy Records in Westchester, Illinois. I made an appointment, brought in six large boxes of vinyl, and was upfront about not expecting much in terms of a sale. The vendor was unhelpful and seemed annoyed by my effort, offering only $1 each for two records while turning down the rest. When I mentioned donating the records to a thrift store, he actually suggested I discard them completely and "put them out of circulation," which made no sense—especially since thrift stores are more than happy to take records! I was even cool about it, joking that at least I was getting a good workout from carrying everything back to my car, but it felt like he just couldn't be bothered. It’s disappointing when a store that specializes in records doesn't appreciate their potential or think about how others might find value in them. I wouldn’t recommend this place, as the whole interaction lacked professionalism and consideration.

It was a painless and quick process to sell my records. It was also profitable. Brian is well-versed in music and can appraise records easily. I highly recommend “We Buy Records” to anyone looking to sell, trade, or purchase music.

The owner was super great! He let us look around while he was painting and was overall very helpful. Wonderful place!!!

I REALLY don't want to blow up my secret spot for finding amazing gems at great prices but.... I just helped a friend sell their vinyl collection and couldn't believe how fair they were on the buying side. If you have records to sell, you need to check these guys out! Their grading system is on point, the prices they pay are fantastic and while I don't want to tell everyone my secret, they are such a great shop I have to mention the great selection and pricing they have. Thanks guys!

Wonderful space and friendly service. I always find something I wanted for a long time at a reasonable price here. I got 3 Flamin' Groovies LPs and a Seeds 45 for less than $60! Talk about kick a**! Def will return here every time I'm headed down that way. PS there are yummy restaurants in this area too- do a Google and make a day trip out of it if you're not from the area, like me!

Brian is cool. For a young guy he knows his stuff. As a collector for 50 yrs I don't say that about many people. Fair pricing. Already bought some great stuff and will continue to do so.

Excellent experience. Offered extremely fair price. The owner came to our home to assess our modest collection. He was courteous and professional. Entire transaction took less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend.

Gathered up a handful of Lp's and went in. Guy came out looked at them and told me he wanted something more distinct. I asked a few questions, and told him I have a large collection at home. I have been collecting for atleast 50 years. He was extremely rude, then told me he was going to go eat his lunch, and left me standing there. I know how it works, I do not need to be insulted by a know it all. I would rather give them away, then to give this company my business.
