"The staff are fantastic and often surprise you with free wine (and sometimes pack snacks or sandwiches), and I enjoyed sitting in the lounge sipping port with views over São Jorge Castle; the hostel is conveniently located in Baixa next to the busy squares of Praça da Figueira and Rossio, and Pedro, the owner, has a restaurant next door — the spacious private rooms are great for couples or families." - Matthew Kepnes
This may just be the best hostel I’ve stayed at! This is largely due to the amazing staff who not only help you with your bags, but have them stored in your personal lockers inside the room if you check in early. They prepared a list of recommendations for my next destination after Lisbon, and constantly took the time to explain the city in detail with transparency. The kitchen area is so comfy and clean, and plenty of necessities are provided. There’s a very homey feel to the entire hostel, and the social aspect is solid! Great events too! Shoutout to Mathilda, Iago, Julie, and all the helpful staff! Next time in Lisbon I won’t hesitate to re-book.

Room was BROKEN INTO and were ROBBED inside of a PRIVATE hostel room, laptops and valuables stolen. We had to beg the staff to call the police, and absolutely nothing was done. Through this we met the owner of this hostel who was more concerned with his reputation and money than helping us in any way, still forced to pay full price for the room with no remediations for our door being literally broken into on this property. Sure cool staff and clean rooms, but as an avid traveller this is truly the worst experience I have EVER had with any stay. Lost thousands of dollars in valuables and my respect for this company

I got to this hostel late and spur of the moment. They were so so so accommodating!! It’s cozy, affordable, clean, the bedrooms are great, it’s close to everything in Lisbon, 24hr reception, and the common areas are the best. The staff was insanely kind and helpful. And every night they have an event of some kind. Tuesdays, there’s Tapas and wine upstairs, and local music afterwards. It was totally worth it and one of my favorite hostel experiences I’ve had!

I spent only one night at the hostel, and it was a truly special experience, mainly thanks to the people who work here — very attentive and dedicated to making it the best possible experience for guests. It’s too hard to list everything that positively surprised me. The room and the bed were comfortable enough to have a good rest. Everything was clean, well maintained, and properly attended to. The location is perfect.

I wasn't expecting much and just needed a cheap place to stay for the night. The hospitality was quite amazing for a hostel. It almost feels like you just entered a commune or something but I enjoyed the experience. They really try to make sure all needs are met and are genuinely friendly. I didn't do any tours and just had breakfast.

I stayed at this hostel for three days. I can recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Lisbon. It's very centrally located, and you can mostly reach the places you want to visit on foot. The staff is super friendly and organizes great activities like pub crawls or tapas dinners. This makes it easy to meet other people. Overall, I would book this hostel again anytime.

Impressed! Iago is professional, a gentleman, and discreet. Afonso has great energy, too. The work ethic here is impeccable. They're great people. The cleaning staff is doing an excellent job. Congratulations to the owners for setting this up. It's gorgeous.

Upon arrival the staff were helpful with luggage up the stairs to level 4 (reception). Check in was simple, with a staff member also sitting down to go through a map of main attractions, activities and to answer any questions (including restaurant recommendations!), was given a lovely ice tea during check in also.|I had a private room which was spacious with a comfortable bed. |The Sintra day trip through the hostel was a highlight, as was the tapas night.|Shared bathrooms were cleaned very regularly. The lounge spaces were really lovely. Be prepared for the stairs as there is no lift.

Yelp
Nice location in Lisbon but not an accommodative stay. My friend and I booked this on a whim as we wanted to stay in Lisbon affordably and comfortably. Unfortunately, it wasn't as comfortable. While the rooms were clean and there was a good view - beware there are multiple floors with no elevator. Every time we came back it was a workout to enter our room. If you have a check in or roller bag, skip out on this spot.
Additionally, I wasn't a huge fan of the tours they offered. They did have a tour booking for Sintra but it was ofc a tourist trap scam. Wasn't worth it because we were forced to pay for lunch and the tour was simply a driver who waited in the car while we roamed around with other guests during our stay. The staff at this place were all sweet except for one man whose name started with a "J" he was honestly quite annoying. He asked personal and invasive questions that made it difficult to enjoy our stay. My friend and I tried to avoid him at all costs. He was like a roach.

Yelp
I didn't love this hostel and I have stayed at many over the years. Vibes were very weird. Seemed welcoming but in a sort of artificial way. There are also like a million floors with no elevator. The recommendations they gave were very touristic which is to be expected I suppose but also didn't seem that welcoming.
Beds were nice and WiFi was effective, although the door to the balcony was cracked open and wouldn't shut which let in a tremendous amount of noise.
On my last night someone showed up having just been attacked in the street and nobody was helping him so I spent the night before my flight bandaging up another hostel guest. Staff was remarkably uncaring.
Would not stay here again under any circumstances

Yelp
What makes me proactively go on their Yelp page and write a review? The fantastic service I got from the two gentlemen who checked me in. They welcomed me with warm smiles, a bowl of olives, some home made tea, and local suggestions. I was dead tired and had a horrendous day in Munich (those traffic controllers gah!!!) but they truly restored my faith in the world! Thank you so much (if you ever read the review!).
The hostel itself is very well situated and very, very clean. I didn't know they had private rooms but they do! I will definitely stay here when I come back. Though I couldn't partake in the communal activities, I could tell that the hostel tries its best to make you as a tourist have a taste of local life. I appreciate that!

Yelp
This is one of the best hostel I stayed. Bathroom is clean. Staff are awesome. Lot of group activities, common area allow you to make friends with other travelers. Their sintra tour makes visiting Lisbon very convenient. The only problem it is on the fourth floor, but don't you worry about your luggage. Staff there all have super power that can lift your luggage to the fourth floor with no problem ! I loved this hostel !
