WeBase Hakata

I had a great time staying with them. The public facilities here are wonderful with well-equipped kitchen for anyone who want to cook. The shower room was nice and clean with separated zone for dressing and showering in the booth. Staff there were really friendly and helpful especially Kong and Seunghee. The only con would be the bunk bed room was quite small with little to no space to open the luggage but the bed itself was spacious enough! (They also provide free earplugs which were very helpful for dorm type room and free yukata)

We had a wonderful experience during our three night stay at WeBase Hakata. Everything was clean and well appointed, the staff was friendly, and the location was very convenient for exploring the city. We stayed in a 4-bunk private room as a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and space was limited but sufficient for our needs. We made good use of the common room and the laundry during our stay. We found the guidebook of food recommendations to be very helpful and the breakfast was simple but delicious. Our only minor challenge was figuring out how to correctly adjust the temp in our room—we kept thinking we had things set correctly and then it would get very hot at night. Opening the window for a brief period was enough to cool things down. We would definitely recommend WeBase to others and would stay again if we retuned to the area.

The very best place you can stay in all of Fukuoka. The staff speak multiple languages and are willing to help you in any way they can while making sure that you are welcome. I was greeted by the amazing team who operated webase and always felt that I was in a safe place from start to finish. I even saw the staff helping someone who was not a guest and give him guidance about Japan. The beds were amazingly comfortable with plenty of space to move in and perfectly placed electric sockets. The facilities were top notch as they were always clean and easy to use. The shower room provided all that was needed with hot water in a flash, the lounge was absolutely cozy and dare I say felt like a home away from home and extremely convenient luggage storage and laundry facilities. What more can you ask for?! And if you say a nice cold beer they got you there too because they have vending machines in the lounge! These guys know what they're doing! Overall. This is a hostel you absolutely must go to if you want to feel epic in Fukuoka.

Staff were amazing. Extremely friendly and helped fixed my broken bag. Everything was extremely clean rooms were perfect. The common area was great also have a nice balcony and vending machines.

The hostel is fair but I won’t come back. Pros: - The shower room on the 2nd Floor is very clean. The water is strong. - The staff here are very nice. They will kindly introduce places you can visit and say Hi every time you return to the hostel. - The location is quite good. Cons: - The WiFi in the room is terrible so I can’t watch videos and plan my trip in bed. - The room is so small that any little movement can be heard. I felt so sorry for my roommate when I had to go to toilet in the middle of the night. the door lock was so loud that it must wake her up. If you are sensitive to sound and can’t fall asleep easily, I suggest not stay here but find a hotel. But overall it’s not bad.

Excellent experience in this hostel. Comfy private rooms, awesome lounge to chill/work and free light breakfast. I tried the mix dorm and it was very noisy due to the big size and configuration (e.g. the washbasins were in the middle). Also, the shower room could be open all the time rather than closing it from 11am to 4pm; and the blanket could be much better.

I loved my stay here! The rooms are well laid out and the guests were mindful. I love that they provide sleeping clothes and the showers are so clean. The location is perfect middle point to everything. I will stay here again since they provide sleeping clothes and there are sinks and toilets inside the dorm rooms so people aren’t leaving and entering at any times of the night.

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this hostel. The bunk beds are spacious enough for me, and you can definitely sleep well in them. Policies are strictly implemented, especially the quiet hours starting at 23:00. The staff is very approachable and always greets you whenever you enter or leave the building. Highly recommended! ⭐️💯
