Weinhaus Henninger

Another wonderful experience at Henninger! We have been staying at this hotel since it opened. Great service, nice, helpful staff. Clean rooms with nice heater! Dinner was great. We enjoyed staying again. See you next May!

We were told we needed a reservation a table for four on a Sunday at 1300. We did not and were sat in the back room alone. The restaurant had 4 tables dining (less rhan one third full). Definetly fine dining atmosphere. Food and wine selection was great-- 4stars. Staff spoke German only. Dark interior with inside seating only.

It was pure luck that we ended up in this small city. From the outside the hotel looks nice, but nothing special. That changes when you enter. All is very carefully and recently been renovated, and with good taste. The rooms are top quality in size and decoration. Beautiful and tasteful all the way through. Breakfast was on the expensive side, but actually worth the money (16€), because many of the things was homecooked. Worth a detour!

This place is wonderful! We got there on a rainy summer day by whoops and set outside. Once it started raining the staff quickly and efficiently moved us to a dryer area so we can keep eating. Needless to say that the service was simply fantastic! The girls were very kind, quick and polite, despite the fact they had to work under the raindrops.||The dishes were all amazing, really. We had schnitzel and pigs belly for main, salad and musical cheese for starter. ||Alcohol was quite surprising for me as it was the first time I ever had YELLOW WINE - Yes yellow! It's like white wine that hasn't finished processing and it was so delicious! Apparently it's typical for the region but obviously I've never heard of it.||Highly recommended if you wanna try something different within the German cuisine.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are large, bright and kept very clean (look like renowated not long ago). Everything around the hotel is kept tidy and well maintained. Parking is available for guests at the back. Very good restaurant!! I enjoyed my stay there.

Lovely hotel, in a peaceful traditional village close to motorway.||||Fantastic delux bedroom. Friendly staff.||||Very disappointed that the restaurant was full for the evening as it looked charming.||||Good fresh breakfast, good wifi, good aircon. But bedroom above the terrace was noisy.||||Village was limited in,places to eat and drink other than the wine tasting houses.

Food was not bad. Female service was a desaster. Very stroppy and when following situation happened: guest said: “excuse me” (to the waiter) the female service responded: “yes I heard you” (evil looking face) and very cheeky, can’t believe it still. They wer not very nice to me either. The male waiter was excellent still. Come on guys that’s not how service works! 30/6/2019 5PM

After 30 years it seems it was our last visit. We had reserved the inner courtyard. When we arrived we were brought through the inner courtyard with empty tables to the external terrasse. I was ready to go and we should have. After ordering it took ages. The starter arrived (Potato Soup). After the starter nothing happened. After having asked why it takes so long we received a amuse-bouche from the kitchen. The very same potato soup, just in smaller quantity. It got dark and no sign from our main dishes. Once it was really dark our dishes arrived. But the terrasse has no light at all installed at the tables. But there was not much great to discover. Yes nice for the calf liver with cherry sauce. On the other side the large portion of pork cheeks looked very little in the darkness. Thanks for having offered the espresso. Sorry, but I can only say very disappointed. The second star is for the cherry sauce.

We had an awesome family dinner here. It started with a great wine recommendation offered in both English and German. I started with the feld salat which was great. I told them about a food allergy I have. They responded by offering me the salad I wanted to order and made the dressing without mustard seed. It also says something about the quality there that they didn't bat an eyelash at making me a special dressing. For dinner I ordered the pasta with parmesan and truffles. It was delicious. The rest of the party had an assortment of steak/duck/pork and this was the first time my family didn't offer to share with me. They each cleaned their plates before i could even steal a bite!!! :-( We had one dessert we didn't love but the chocolate mousse was very nice.
