Weinstube am Stadtgraben

We stumbled over this restaurant which was newly renovated and the food was amazing from our starters to dessert. The staff was very friendly and I had very good vegetarian food here, the meat options looked amazing as well. The only very small critique I have, is I would have loved to have something crunchy or in different texture in the Spinatknödel dish, as it was very delicious, but overall one texture. But again, very small critique, the beetroots were absolutly amazing. Very much recommend this place and will come here again if I visit Stuttgart!

Oh wow! What a find was this restaurant… I am so happy I had the opportunity to taste the food and meet the nice people working at this place. Their attention to us and helpfulness made all the difference. The food was delicious and the wine made it perfect. The roast beef with the Swabian dishes was a great chance to try some foods of this interesting region. I truly recommend coming here and make your reservation as it was Monday evening and the place was packed.

This restaurant is truly amazing. The food was absolutely fantastic and beautifully articulated. The flavors that were put together in these dishes were exquisite and best described as a symphony played out in an artful feast. Every wine that we tasted was selected with care to accompany each course. The service was wonderful as well. We were never left needing or wanting for anything. On such a busy night, they still had the ability to make us feel as if we were the only ones there.

Table was waiting for us even though we were 15 minutes late. Good beer and wine selection. Not as large a entry selection as I was expecting. The food was very good as was the service. Desserts we're excellent also.

Delicious food, great wines and service was the best we had in Stuttgart. I would happily come back and recommend to others.

I suffered a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) leading to hospitalization while eating at this restaurant, despite making my allergy entirely clear to the waiter and receiving multiple assurances about my meal choice. I, personally, would avoid this restaurant if you have any food allergies.

Absolutely wonderful food, atmosphere, and service. Our waiter was incredible!!! They did a wonderful job making me and my family (Americans) feel at home. (Here are some pictures of the delicious food:)

Authentic local cuisine, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I like and recommend the schnitzel. There are options for kids.

They don't accept the yelp bonus! Nice place inside, loud place outside as long it's daytime because of the playground right next to it. Food is good, unfortunately only the "Schwäbische Küche" (regional dishes) you get here everywhere. Prices are over the average of Germany

A+, highly recommended. This restaurant has wonderful service, ambiance, and the food is perfection. We arrived without a reservation and they were nice enough to seat us even though they warned that our table was reserved later in the evening. Everything we ordered came out perfectly, hopefully we will have a chance to return before we leave town. If you love good food come to this restaurant, you will not be disappointed. The photos are Roasted supreme of corn chicken in a ham coat on Marsala spinach and orange polenta and a fall pumpkin soup with sunflower seeds and nut oils.

Service is good and food was awesome! Will definitely go again. The dishes we ordered came in a reasonable time, meat cooked to our desired order. Drinks were on point.

Our family visited on the last day of our trip and it was the PERFECT place to go. The cozy, romantic ambiance was perfect and the food was even better! I grew up with my Mom's German (Schwäbisch) cooking and this is the best I've ever had other than hers. The Maultaschen was so good! She makes it the same way (even with the browned butter on top). The potato & cucumber salad was just right. And the Spätzle was home made and so delicious. We tried a half dozen or so other places and wish I had tried this first because I wouldn't have gone anywhere else.

Amazing food! I ordered the Swabian plate and it was fantastic! The roast beef is tasty and tender! The ravioli is delicious and the service was top notch!

I come here every year for a gathering of old friends. The food is German-Swabian with a modern upgrade, very fresh and made with love. The host Sebastian is easygoing and attentive and very knowledgeable in regards to food and drinks. I highly recommend this place. English menu is available on request.
