Weissbräuhaus zum Herrnbräu

I visited this restaurant with my cousins ​​who are from this town. It has a nice atmosphere of a Bavarian restaurant. I had great beer and great food. I was looking for a vegetarian option and the asparagus with potatoes was a great choice! I'll be happy to visit this place again on my next visit to Ingolstadt.

The food was delicious, but the day I went, the indoor air circulation was not very good. The bathroom had a slight odor. Sitting outside, there were quite a few people smoking. I recommend sitting outside but in an upwind area instead.

Great selection of local German foods and local beers at a very reasonable price and very generous sized serving. We had the natural pork schnitzel with mushrooms / spaezle and the three veal sausages with potato salad. Both were tasty with great flavours.

Surprisingly, only one of a few traditional German pubs in Ingolstadt. They serve all of the classics you'd expect in Bavaria, plus a few local dishes too. Everything our group sampled was fine. And the service, whilst stretched at times, was decent.

Nice place in the city centre. Amazing food and delicious beer for a good price. We had lunch with kids and the staff was friendly, service was good. Definitely recommended. Only min point is the bees visiting your table to get their fair share from your beer, they could be quite annoying so better be prepared.

Tasty food. Good rhe meat and the pumpkin soup. Pity that you have to pay for two slices of bread. Pity that at 20:30 the kitchen was closed and we could not ask for desserts (they could have asked us before)

If original bavarian style is desired , this is a nice place. Good quality bavarian style food for a reasonable price. Fast, very friendly staff. Prepared for foreign guests without German language . On restaurant backside you find a nice beer garden

I wouldn't normally consider meatloaf restaurant food when traveling, but I often choose the daily special to try new things. OMG, Bavarian meatloaf is fantastic! Coupled with a refreshing cucumber salad and mild dark beer, it was a memorable meal on a hot summer day. Highly recommended!

Great broad menu, and bonus points for an English menu! Came here for dinner. Especially liked that they offer 0.25L servings of most drinks. Would come back!

Came here on the way to Audi museum looking for breakfast since we saw pictures of eggs, but were disappointed that option is no longer on the menu or by request. Cute location short walking distance from limited areas to park. Two of us had schnitzel with potatoes and one käsespëtzle which come topped with grilled onions. So good and still hit the spot with cappuccino for early lunch. Very nice folks working with attentive service. The clean toilet was appreciated before resuming our road trip.

We come here every single time we are in Ingolstadt. My husband's grand father used to be a beer delivery man for Herrnbräu so the family has very special ties to this establishment. The food is always delicious and the beer of course is perfection. It is Bavarian tradition all around, perfectly executed as it has been for the last 50 years. The garden outside is a perfect spot for a coffee after your meal under the tall trees.

If Daniel's kitchen is closed or you can't walk that far through Dollstrasse come here (this is the place to be.)! They usually serve their custumers longer;) Bavarian style, good beer and a basket of Brezn on every table! Guten Appettit!
