This is part of our European beer tour guide. It was surprisingly busy on a Tuesday noon for lunch. The beer is good. The sausage is good. The food is good. The salad is good. The service is very efficient and wonderful. We had a wonderful time here after we visited the Christmas market! Sent from my iPhone

Tipical Bavarian restaurant, very nice atmosphere and live music. The food was good as well as the Weiss bier. Friendly staff and good and quick service. The prices are average, and table sharing gives an opportunity to chat with new people. So far, one of the best places visited in Munich.

Not a fan of German food but when in Germany, one has to try the local food, so I think as far as Bavarian food goes, this place is recommendable. Our food wasn’t so pleasurable until we added lots of peppers on our meals. The ambiance is great and the service is much better. They’re fast and attentive. Food came very quickly even if the place is big and it was packed with customers. It’s a well oiled machine of an establishment. Building is very lovely and the area is very lively.

Traditional Bavarian food, super busy on a Monday morning but it was holiday season. We had the white sausages (need to order by 12pm as they are a breakfast delight), sweet mustard, pretzels and beer. Make sure to remove the skin from the sausages. You choose the total number of sausages and pretzels for the table and then get stuck in! Delicious with great Bavarian service and atmosphere. Having a Weiße beer for breakfast was a fun experience. Staff very helpful and prompt. Bathroom facilities available, have English menus if required, lots of seating, accept card payments accepted.

So glad we found this place for breakfast. I had a traditional Bavarian Weissewurst breakfast of white sausages, pretzel with sweet mustard and a wheat beer which was all incredibly delicious. My wife had bacon and fried eggs in which she said the bacon was the best she’s ever had, I did try a bit and it was delicious. Overall we had an incredible experience I hear with good and service being outstanding.

We didn’t have any reservations for dinner. But the restaurant was kind to accommodate us with fellow guests who didn’t have a reservations. While we shared a table, it didn’t feel very open (like we had no privacy) as we had individual bills and our own space on the table. The beers are amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Food was authentic. Draft Beers were fresh. This would be a very good lunch except for the very rude waitress. I think she may have been tired at 1:30 PM but still, there was no excuse for her attitude. I have already complained to the manager and so I will not leave a one star out of respite. But words like “hurry up because I have other guests” was very hurtful.

I went here twice, once for dinner and once for breakfast. I had a great experience in both visits. While I am of no authority in determining the authenticity of German food, I do think that all the food items served here were fresh and delicious. During our dinner, our party ordered the Obazda (German soft cheese & butter mix), Spanferkelbraten (Roast suckling pig with beer braise sauce and potato knödel), Schweinshaxe (Pork knuckle), Metzgerplatte (butcher’s plate — assortment of different sausages), and Aventinus Bierbratl (crispy braised pork belly in an Aventinus-based sauce). I also ordered their Aventinus beer. All the food were served warm and fresh. All the meat items were tender and all sauces served was were delicious. Aventinus is a pretty strong beer and was a nice welcome to Munich for me personally. I came back a few days later for a breakfast of weißwurst (Bavarian boiled white sausages), pretzels, and a drink of apfelschörle (apple juice and sparkling water). The sausage was tasty, pretzel was great, the sweet mustard was wonderful, and the apfelschörle was very refreshing. For the pretzels, you only pay for the amount that you take into your plate. All in all, I had great experiences here.
