This store is a unique experience in terms of the fact that it is so old school and joyous.Joy is what you feel when come to over flowing candy experience. They give out large scoops of ice creams. Coffee and tea was also available.Staff’s kind. Next I’ll go for their pie which seemed popular.

This place is a chocolate shop that also offers ice cream, but unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the ice cream. The selection is limited, and while the portions are large, the taste was disappointing. It didn’t have the creamy flavor of regular ice cream—it just tasted overly sugary. Plus, the shop is cash only, which is inconvenient.

Decent shop with a unique selection of items. Make sure you check your expiry dates. The staff seemed very friendly and overall good experience.

If you’ve ever wanted to pay artisan prices for gas station-quality chocolate while enjoying the crisp mountain air, look no further. I purchased one chocolate and one slice of pie for the modest price of what I believe is now my future child’s tuition. The chocolate was... fine. Not bad, not good—just aggressively average. To be fair, the staff was very friendly, the candy selection was colorful and fun, and kids would probably think they’ve stepped into a wonderland. But adults on budgets might want to admire this shop from the sidewalk while eating a Snickers from a gas station.

If you didn’t visit Welch’s, you didn’t experienced Waterton. This is a dessert paradise with tons of random candies, chocolates, vintage sweets, and stuff adorned by pop culture. We got scoops of their Foothills Creamery ice cream. They have lots of flavours to choose from! They only take CASH, so be prepared. Anyway, they also have atm inside too. The lady server was such a beautiful delight to our overall experience. Happy to come back here!

Cash only is stupid in 2023. Their prices were insane even for waterton, $13 for a small bag of sesame snaps that were old and stale. Basically everything is stale and priced through the roof. I would only buy ice cream here. The employees look miserable working here and I would too, it was so extremely crowded and clustered, not a good experience at all. It looked cute in the places where it wasn’t over clustered and most things looked good, even though they weren’t. I got multiple things that looked good but they did not taste it, so disappointed after spending over $41 for candy.

We loved this ice cream shop! The selection of candy was amazing, and the staff were so happy to scoop ice cream for us every time. They were friendly, made great conversation, and truly made the experience fun. Hands down the best ice cream shop in Waterton—the happiest staff and delicious ice cream. We’d pick this place over any of the others!

No signs saying cash only. We I got to the til with my ice cream I was informed of this. I had no cash so had to use their convenient ATM on site at a $3 charge. The cashier was “what ever” This is not a business that can’t afford to take card. I wouldn’t have bought had I known. Go elsewhere for your sweet craving. Ice cream was good which is why it gets 3 stars
