If you didn’t visit Welch’s, you didn’t experienced Waterton. This is a dessert paradise with tons of random candies, chocolates, vintage sweets, and stuff adorned by pop culture. We got scoops of their Foothills Creamery ice cream. They have lots of flavours to choose from! They only take CASH, so be prepared. Anyway, they also have atm inside too. The lady server was such a beautiful delight to our overall experience. Happy to come back here!

Love this place ❤️ the hot chocolate is the best of town and the owner Carol, makes this corner so pretty and enchanting ✨🍫🍬🍭☕️. Ps: also the Grand Marnier from the liquor store next door from Welch’s Chocolate Shop. It’s a perfect blend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great staff! Very kind and friendly! I didn’t know it was cash only until I arrived and only had $14 for cash on me. I was short a few cents and the nice lady took a couple coins from her own tip jar for me. To the guy complaining about lack of currency exchange, it’s not the business’s responsibility to convert your cash. The lady is nice and the ice cream was good. I’ll definitely return!

Cash only is stupid in 2023. Their prices were insane even for waterton, $13 for a small bag of sesame snaps that were old and stale. Basically everything is stale and priced through the roof. I would only buy ice cream here. The employees look miserable working here and I would too, it was so extremely crowded and clustered, not a good experience at all. It looked cute in the places where it wasn’t over clustered and most things looked good, even though they weren’t. I got multiple things that looked good but they did not taste it, so disappointed after spending over $41 for candy.

What a great place! The baked goods, coffee and the owner were wonderful! Candy and chocolates were extremely expensive. If you keep your coffee cup you get one free refill in the day. Owner is lovely! I enjoyed chatting with her and her books are great!

Neat place to visit, LOTS to look at and all the wares are very nicely displayed. Downside - it’s cash only (heard someone say the ATM is set to $7/withdrawl - which is awfully high….) AND some pretty steep product pricing (even for a tourist area) makes it a little hard to swallow…. That said - the ice cream was really good, waffle cone was crisp and what I’d expected, and the candy and fudge looked delicious. I’d come back for another cone after a good hike in the park.

Went in this evening to buy a full pie, they had lots in the show case and was told no that she wasn't going to sell me any pie due to the town being so busy. She went on about having to send people into town to pick up coffee cups because they ran out. That's fine I won't be buying pie there again, lost local businesses. It's a shame because I love the pie but it's fine. Mind you if they were not selling pies why have the pie section of the store open? To let people look at the pies and let them go Stale?

Sweet shop and pastry shop sort of connected. Also serves coffee but nowhere to sit indoors. Positive was open to late in the season unlike other businesses. Really nice tasting home baked style cakes. But did not however want to sell us a whole one though, only sold in individual slices. Cash only.
