Spending a few days at Il Borgo del Balsamico in Reggia Emilia felt like visiting a family home. Just a few rooms in an old house where the family still lives. Wonderful hosts, Silvia and Christina, running their balsamico business with soul, delicious local breakfast, stylish rooms. We will be back some day soon! Don’t miss the balsamico tour with Silvia and do visit the modern art in the old Max Mara factory, a tip we got from Christina.

It was very easy and safe to book through Welcome Beyond and we were lucky to stay in one of the houses in Puglia. We were very satisfied and we will definitely have a look next year when planning our holiday what accommodations Welcome Beyond has to offer.

We have traveled with Welcome Beyond a few times and the destinations have always been exceptionally beautiful. Chris & Oliver are incredibly friendly and always respond immediately to all wishes. The support has always been very personal, individual and super professionally organized. At Welcome Beyond everything is just great: the service is excellent, the architecture of the B&Bs and hotels is always uniquely beautiful and very modern. The hosts are never like in a normal hotel, they create a special atmosphere so that you immediately feel like you are staying at friends. We have stayed in a few homes that are recommended from Welcome Beyond and all homes are homes that you would want to be your own. All homes are perfectly decorated, in outstanding locations, well-stocked, lovely accomodating hosts, and if you ever need anything Oliver and team are there to help out.
