Great location, just minutes away from the old town (aldstadt) area, across the road & up in a lift.|Friendly & helpful staff - needed a fan as the room was hot & they provided it.|Room good size - we booked the larger room. Comfy beds - 2 separate mattress & duvet into one large bed.|TV & coffee maker. Toiletries in bathroom.|Excellent buffet breakfast with good choice of hot & cold food.|Car parking under hotel - paid parking but lots of space

Lots to say about this hotel First I start off with it was the only available hotel in Marburg they make you reserve 2 nights minimum and it cost 386€ 🤯 Location was good easy to get around Parking was 25€ for 2 full days The rooms are very basic nothing special at all the fridge wouldn’t get cold even full cold setting the air conditioning simply didn’t work.. the carpets in the halls are old and dirty … The shower pressure was horrible The WiFi worked 🤷‍♂️ The breakfast was probably the best thing this hotel had going for itself Over all it’s way over priced and old I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here unless you want to over pay and not enjoy your stay

Disappointment for Value, Lobby is modern but the rooms themselves are stuck in Jurassic. Pillows are a dead sentence. Breakfast is quite mediocre. Service from today's reception lady could be described as Unfriendly and have barely time for customers instead busy on her phone. Been to so many places this was quite the unfriendly. Only to be subjected to only today's reception. Rest of the stuff must be good but the day of stay gives me my personal perception. Only and the best feature is its location. Hotel Chain is quite overrated and overpriced.

WORST PILLOWS EVER! For some reason, Germany loves these massive, square pillows. My in-laws (also German) have them as well, and their pillows are bad, but this hotel's pillows take the cake. Even my husband--who's been sleeping on these wacky pillows his entire life--had a terrible sleep due to **his words** "...that terrible pillow." It's a shame, because everything else about the hotel was lovely: front desk, room, bed, breakfast, location, parking. But if you can't sleep, nothing else matters.

Hotel is 1 mile from Bahnhof on bus line. Across, the street is an elevator that takes you up 5 floors to the Altstadt center. Close to walkway along river Lahn. Staff was helpful with Restaurant and transport knowledge. Rooms are plain, but decent size, clean and comfortable. Our room was on inner courtyard, quiet, especially when we had AC running. In room coffee maker a plus. Shower was a bit tight, lights were dim. Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast had plenty of choices and well prepared. Filterkaffee on each table and other coffee or tea options available.

I've had better for less and worse for more. Location is everything with this hotel: you are right in the centre and everything is a short walk away (except the castle of course). There are areas in this hotel that feel quite dated. The rooms are fine, but the air-conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat (and it's not even summer). The breakfast is fine, but nothing special. I don't really understand where the four stars are coming from. Given the available options though, this is still a solid choice.

Nice and calm hotel with memorable breakfast buffet. Strategically located close to the train station (it can be reached with a 15 min walk) but also in front of a free public lift comfortably taking into the center of the beautiful old town and speeding up the way to the castle.

Yelp
Best in town. It's clean, quite, nice staff, and almost all speaks English. The breakfast is decent, and most important is that the location is really great. The parking is a bit expensive €15 per night.

Yelp
Nice and clean hotel located in the center of Marburg; very close to Philipps University campus; across the street from the public elevator that takes you to the older/touristy part of town. The room was clean and pleasant, if a bit spartan (for example there was no actual closet or drawers; just an open space with shelves and a bar for hanging). The hallways were fairly dark, night and day, but that seems typical of German hotels in my experience. Breakfast was very good, with all options presented: scrambled eggs and bacon, but also sliced meat and cheese and boiled eggs, as well as breakfast pastries; they place a pot of coffee on your table with a service of milk and sugar. The wifi was fast, and easy to connect to. I got a strong signal anywhere in the hotel. Recommended for a stay in Marburg, whether that's for touring around or for an event at the university.

Yelp
The service is professional and excellent. We had the ribeye and salmon entrees. The salmon was slightly over cooked but the beef was spot-on med rare and delicious. Also enjoyed a great Spatburgunderer.
