WelcomHeritage Panjim Inn

Okay, so, i went to panjim inn to eat snacks. So, what i noticed is that behaviour of the staff there is very rude. they will ask you every time if you're using their washroom. We went with our 1 year old little kid. On everything, they will try to check if you can afford this place or not. They are such a classist people. when my daughter unknowingly wanted to explore the place as she got mesmerized with the little cat there, their staff was like these rooms are booked by foreigners and noone else is allowed to come even when she was just inside the common area, far from rooms. when i asked him to pack remaining french fries for my kid as kids are quiet slow to eat so that we could feed her on the way, their staff put a weird face and ignored it very badly. we ignored it for 2-3 instances but some or other person from their staff keep on doing such things and we got highly irritated.

There are three Panjim Inn properties. This review is for Panjim Inn. Lovely common terrace and balcony, charming traditional heritage building and design and good breakfast. Verandah Restaurant dinner could be a bit improved. Thanks to Ajit and the team!

Wifi doesn't work during my stay. No far choices for breakfast, Overall ambiance is ok. It gives the feel of the old days, especially, furniture and beds are like what we used to see in Bengali like serial or movies. Sounds Tarrif are high, but yes apana apna choice hai.

This was a very pleasant stay. They have done an excellent job of making the place both interesting and reflective of what old Goa was like. Despite the building's age, they've managed to create a pleasant atmosphere for guests, while still preserving a sense of the old-world experience. The staff was were very pleasant and helpful. And the breakfast was also pretty good. The location is also good.||it’s also pleasant to speak with Ajit who is the proprietor of the Hotel and learn from his experiences and how the building has been in his family’s possession for several generations.

This place is a fantastic heritage stay right in the most vibey area of Fontainhas! Loved the spacious rooms with a heritage touch to the beds, cupboards and flooring! The balcony - it makes you feel like you are living in the 1900s in Europe !

Had a very great time here. The hospitality and the area was so clean and good. The meal that we had for breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed it here. Hope to come back again

We loved the old-style house and the British-era furniture. The rooms were huge, and the breakfast was delicious, though a couple more options would be nice. The location is ideal, close to local spots and famous landmarks, situated at the edge of Fontainhas and near the riverside, making it easy to explore the area. It's important to expect a true heritage stay—this isn't a place with false ceilings or wallpaper, but rather one with old-world charm. Things might not be perfect, but the experience is what truly matters. Staff was courteous and helpful.

We encountered unacceptable behavior from the owner. Although the check-in time was 11 am, we arrived early and requested a room at 8:30 am to freshen up. They provided the room, but later, the owner claimed it was against their policy, stating we were occupying the room from 6:30 am which was completely false. But Ididn't snatch the keys or barge into the room; I made a request, and they accommodated it. If they had a policy against early check-in, they could have simply said no or offered to charge an extra fee. However, insulting guests after receiving full payment is completely unacceptable. I didn't argue, as we had already paid in full and my child was present. Moreover, I booked a deluxe room at Panjim Inn with a city view (256 sqft), but was given a room at Panjim Pousada on the ground floor with no view. The room had broken windows. The owners are dishonest, and I'm also disappointed with MakeMyTrip. Although the rooms were clean, and the staff were polite and courteous,and food was awesome .the owner's behavior was appalling. They should respect guests, who spend their hard-earned money on trips, rather than insulting and cheating them. I booked from make my trip, all the proofs are here in photos what I booked and what I've got. If you can ignore someone's toxic mood and enjoy beautiful Portuguese bungalow go for it.
